The service was prompt, the plumber was polite and efficient. He stuck to his estimate even though the job took longer than expected. He left the work area clean, dry and tidy. Overall great experience. I'd use then again.

Arrived 1 1/2 hrs. late without explanation. Called office to enquire where they were and was told "They'll be there when they get there!". Very rude phone person. Ran out of torch gas (in 3 tanks) half way through job and had to borrow a torch from me to finish soldering.

Scheduled Saturday appt. Re[air man showed up on time and was courteous & professional.

I had the worst experience today. I explained the requirements - light that stays on from dusk to dawn in the porch. I would supply the materials. They came by and quoted a number for the job and started the work. HALF WAY through the job they tell me the fixture I have will not work as expected. My expectation: they would have checked materials and confirmed they would be able to do the job as expected. What they said: if the materials is provided by the customer they just do labor(!!!!) and I had provided the wrong part and they would charge me extra to put the original fixture they had taken down back up!!!! I hired them for their EXPERTISE not just labor. Apparently if they don't "make money on the supplies" they do not provide the expertise!!!

He arrived promptly and worked quickly and efficiently.

They told me they don't service my area. They are in Somerset and I am in Colonia. Hard to believe they don't travel 12 miles for a job! Google the distance.

Air conditioner stop working.Two workers came out as per arranged.They ID the problem in 5 minutes and fixed it in 15.Had the parts with them.Jamal (one of the service men) even changed the filter and took the old one with them.

Very happy with the work that was done by Jack Dolan's plumbers. I needed to replace a whole house water filter and I also requested an estimate to replace two outside water faucets (spigots). They provided me with an estimate for the entire job as well as a separate cost for each task before the work was started. Mike (the head plumber, who normally comes with a trainee), also installed three shut-off valves inside the house for the filter and faucets which is going to make my life easier. I've heard that the company is a bit high cost-wise but I'm at the point where I trust the plumbers and electricians that I don't even bother to get another estimate for work that needs to be done in my home. It is always very easy to get a convenient appointment, the workers are always on time, professional, and I've never had an issue with any of the work done. I would recomment Jack Dolan and Sons for any plumbing work.

I was very pleased with them. I found them on Angie's List, so I expected to be satisfied and I was. They were punctual. There were two men, a plumber and his helper. They were very polite. They made sure that they did not make a mess. They put down mats and were careful with what they touched. They were very thorough and very careful. They made sure that everything they did was done properly. They treated the place as if it was their own. They might have been slightly expensive, but they did good work and they did several different things. At this point, I was more worried about good work, instead of saving a few bucks. I would not hesitate to use them again for electrical work or plumbing work again. I would probably ask for the same individuals out.

Two individuals came to my home - one was an apprentice, the other a licensed plumber. He was very meticulous, careful, thorough and clean. He put down mats and plastic to make sure there wasn't any mess even though he wasn't making a mess. He didn't leave until I was completely satisfied. The gentleman was very pleasant to deal with.

I've been using them for years. They are a local and very active in the community. They are very nice people and they stand behind their work. I feel their a little high priced but they do good work.

Their work is good, and I’ve found them to be consistent. They are always professional and prompt for appointments. The only drawback would be their prices, which can be a little high.

It had to be redone. I disliked it. I hired somebody else to do it. I had used them three times and this was the third job that had to be reworked. It wasn’t craftsmen like work. They sent out apprentices to do the work and they didn’t know what they were doing. They weren’t professional. I would not recommend them to others and I would definitely not use them again.

They were very competitive and they were really top notch. We are currently in the permit process so they won the job. They were prompt. The only problem was that they only did their estimation between 8-5 pm so I had to be home. They have experience working in this building. I live in a high rise condo and the building inspector is sort of a pain in the neck. They came right after I called them and they were on time. They were great.

I called first thing Monday morning. They provided an estimate right over the phone and had someone available that afternoon for the service. I was able to find some lower prices, but not with service the same day. I called back to schedule the appointment. The workers showed up promptly and completed all the work quickly.

The plumber arrived on time! did a great job, was knowledgeable and clean. I though it was a little pricey for 30 mins work, but you get what you pay for!

I have used them several times. They are very reliable and I always have very good experiences with them. I always go to them for any plumbing or heating and air conditioning needs.

They were prompt and clean. They worked very quickly. They were reasonably priced. They had good customer service. They were middle of the road when it came to pricing, compared to the other quotes we got.

My father, who is a senior, has had leaks, washing-machine difficulties, and a freezing-cold house. I get the emergency calls from his caretaker. I'm in Minnesota, so I have to find a repair person by long-distance. We need someone who will go there right away and who is trustworthy. Jack Dolan & Sons has come to the rescue every time, responding within a few hours, fixing the problem so it stays fixed, and charging a reasonable rate. If they can't completely fix the problem, as in the case of the washing machine, they diagnose it and tell us what to do. They are friendly and easy to work with. I would call them first for many house-repair issues, emergency or not. Even if it's out of their type of work, it's worth the cost of the house call to get their take on what's wrong and how to fix it.

Due to snow, the work was started a little late but moved on schedule afterwards. Jack Dolan came when promised, got the estimate to us promtly, and began work on the day scheduled. The only significant problem was in the dust created in tearing down old original plaster walls. Being winter, the HVC system picked up a fair amount of dust and deposited it in all of our rooms. We and our friends and family are all impressed witht the job.
