We used Home Genius to replace 6 old, inefficient windows. Chuck sold them to us for a great price, set very reasonable expectations and managed the project flawlessly. Chris and his crew did a great job at installation and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Highly recommended.

Home Genius did my roof and gutters. The crew did an outstanding job , working non stop …. It was completed in one day. The project manager, C.H. and the entire staff’s communication was excellent ! I am extremely pleased with my new roof and gutters and would recommend them to anyone !

WINDOWS - Please make sure to not fall for the "this price is only valid for today", please shop around as this company is over charging and lying to customers. I was very much trap into using this company because I did fall for the "only good today price" and when I wanted to get out they very much sweet talk me into staying. They told me that they never contract out but they DO. You best buying windows directly from manufacturer and then contracting someone to come install for you (will be way cheaper) I am paying 10k more than average price (yes, this is due to my ignorace and for falling into the pressure they put on you when they say its a good price for today only). I hope this review could help someone avoid this company go make a smarter decision.

My old roof was removed and new roof was installed without issue, all within one day! The service experience itself was terrific. It’s a premium product, but definitely comes with a premium price as well though- which should be a major consideration for anyone thinking about using them over “the other guys”. We are very happy with the roof overall though and the team was extremely professional.

It was awesome, these guys were awesome, professional, punctual and personable. I would like to thank the team, first, Brendan, Monty, the guys that did the gutters , Alfredo the windows, Todd and B, and the office team Brianna and Jaime you made it look effortless. Clean up was thorough.

Not so good; guy with power washer came first and was in a hurry and didnt do a good job. Painters came in and finished cleaning but again were in a hury to get it done. kept having to show them areas they missed or sprayed house paint on exterior trim. Slammed a ladder against the wall so hard that it knocked a wall clock off the wall inside the home. Manager did not come to review work.

I hired Home Genius to put new siding on my house and replace all my windows. Joe and Jon were very professional and very accommodating. Even when a medical emergency came up in the middle of the project they went out of their way way to make sure my aunt was OK even texting after the job was done to ask about her. I would highly recommend them. They are easy to work with, very professional, friendly and the quality of the materials was unsurpassed. Even the clean up at the end of the job was impeccable.

Excellent quality work job completed in 2 days with top end new roof materials. Great workmanship. Only criticism is that the yard areas cleanup was less than very satisfactory. Lots of small shingle pieces & old tarpaper in garden areas not adequately removed. Homeowner had to do supplementary cleanup as well as current landscaper

While the estimate process was fine and they were professional and on-time, their price on the estimate was very high. We did not all the bells and whistles.

Mostly ok, we wanted to stop the leaks we were experiencing. No leaks now.

The work was done on time and the crew's for both the roofing and the gutters were thru professionals. They also left my property spotless !! I already have work for them come this spring.

I signed a contract and gave a deposit for work to be performed only to be told 2 weeks later that they wouldn't be able to do the job. The production coordinator for Home Genius, Matt Rittweger, then contacts me to say that his company, Five Star Brothers Painting & Staining, would be doing the painting and another company would be handling the carpentry. Both contracts totalled more than my maximum budget duscussed with Jon and totally wasted my time. I also didn't receive a refund for my down payment. I emailed Jonathan Carrasquillo, Home Genius New Jersey, Vice President/ Owner about my refund last week only to have Matt call me. Today I text Mr. Carrasquillo with regards to my refund at which time he responded that the refund was processed and I should have it by weeks end.

Home Genius Exterior has restored my faith in contractors, in a time when it seems almost impossible to find a Company that does quality work at a fair price! Home Genius Exteriors sent a knowledgeable representative to estimate the costs to repair the facia on the four eaves of my house, that had been damaged by a previous contractor attempting to defraud me. The representative presented me with a detailed estimate of the work to be done, and answered all of my questions about, time frame for the job, materials, and assured me that the damage would be fixed, restoring the integrity of my house. Home Genius Exteriors sent an entire crew on the day that they were scheduled to begin work, with a project manager supervising the entire repair project. The crew was able to complete all repairs, replace the damaged facia board, and rewrap all of the facia on the four eaves, in one day, putting my mind at ease about the house being exposed to the elements. The Project Manager was kind enough to remove debris left on my garage roof by the previous unscrupulous contractors, so I did not have to do this dangerous chore, on a very steep roof. The Project Manage also worked with me, showing me the materials that were to be utilized for the job, and allowed me to photograph every step of the repair, for future litigation against the scamming contractor. During the entire repair process, the Manager continually checked the work being completed, and policed the areas around my property for discarded construction materials and nails, finding many items left by the previous contractor. When the job was complete, my home, which is only ten years young, looked better than the day it was completed newly constructed! My father was a contractor, as was his father, and this was the type of work that was done "back in the day!" Finally, some damage had been done to my vinyl siding, unrelated to any of these repairs, and as promised, Home Genius Exteriors sent samples of siding, to compare to existing siding, to fix the damaged vinyl siding. This type of customer service is almost unheard of in these days of making a "fast dollar," and it was a most pleasurable experience dealing with this Company, on all levels!

A couple weeks ago we had someone knock on our door from Home Genius offering free estimates. My husband and I took the offer because we had discussed redoing our roof and siding sometime next year. Their customer service is great, they called to schedule an appointment and confirmed with us the day of via email and phone. Jon and Patrick were on time and very pleasant to speak with. They took their time and went over a lot of information. Unfortunately, we are not ready to pull the trigger just yet so have put any services on hold. They are definitely a company we would consider using when we are ready.

We had the house (a 3 story colonial) painted in April '20 during lock-down. I had contacted about 10 other companies and the quotes were all over the map - one company wanted to only paint the front and power wash the other three sides - one flat out refused to do the trim...it was crazy and stressful. HOME GENIUS quoted the best price by a long shot for the entire job top to bottom with all the architectural details. The virtual estimate process went smoothly, and Home Genius contracted with a painting company that works in our area - FIVE BROTHERS - and they did a great job. They are young guys who are clearly motivated and work hard with a good attention to detail. The job took a bit longer than planned as we were hit with the severe cold snap and some bad storms that week but they saw it through, starting early, working late until the job was done. The crew foreman, Sean, and his brother Matt (who runs the business side) were incredibly responsive to all my questions and concerns - we decided to add a paint color mid-job and this was no problem at all (we were ready to pay extra for the change, but it turned out we didn't need to). There were some wall sections on a porch that had to be repainted due to the bad weather and they took care of it without any trouble. The Five Brothers are very professional and do solid, honest work - I would hire them again. And when it comes time to do another big job on the house I will not waste time trying to sort out the contracting myself - that's a nightmare (or maybe I'm just terrible at it!) - but I'll go to Home Genius first to see if they can help sort it out for me.

Market value on our house is sky-rocketing. We are looking into our options to sell instead of upgrading our home. If anything changes we will definitely be in touch with Jonathon. He was a pleasure to work with. He is very honest and down to earth. We like that. We will be recommending your company to anyone we hear talking about upgrading their home for sure. Thank you.
