Budd Van Lines

Budd packed our house. Driver had me sign at the end with no statements. They delivered to our FL home. Had me sign papers at the end of the delivery with no statements. We unpacked and found we were missing a tv, a cover for the smoker and all of the accessories for my 16 cup Kitchenaid food processor. I contacted Budd and they politely stated that due to there being a full moon and that I neglected to get the secret hand shake that I could go pound salt. I am a doctor and have a full understanding of ethical practice. Budd cannot even spell ethical. DO NOT USE BUDD VAN LINES!

They moved our family belongings from Seattle to New Jersey. We own a large number of collectables. They, or their movers, "lost" 39 of the rarest and most high value items in our collection. Actually, I must assume they stole them as 1) the lost items would closely match a cherry picked list of the most valuable and desirable items, b) when they showed up to deliver our items to our home, the package count did not match the shipping manifest, but they were absolutely insistent "It's all here, trust us", and pushed very hard for us to sign the manifest. We did so, but noted the lack of alignment between our the manifest and the boxes delivered. Upon unpacking, we discovered the high number of missing items. We contacted Budd, but received no reply, and are now left with legal action as our only option. I have had 7 moves in my career and only been a theft victim once, by Budd. Very unsettling, and the response (or lack thereof) from their management to our contacts (which were made prior to this review, as we first wanted to provide them the opportunity to remedy the situation) has been disappointing to say the least. If you value your belongings, I strongly recommend you do business with another company.

They did a good job. They got here when they said they would. Overall, everything arrived in good shape. The driver was excellent.

They are very professional and courteous.

I THOUGHT THEY WERE TERRIFIC AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY DID A VERY HIGH QUALITY JOB. THEY MADE SURE EVERYTHING WAS WRAPPED PERFECTLY AND THERE WERE NO DAMAGE TO ANY OF MY THINGS. I WOULD DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN.
