Technicians were very nice on actual day of service. However the experience I had the next day with customer service and the President of the Company, Lori, (as listed on the BBB) was appalling. Instead of apologizing, all I received were accusations that problems were there before her company came in to service our home. In addition to that, just not listening to any comments from me, cutting me off in between sentences. Not even acknowledging that there are multiple pictures that show our structures without damage to them prior to their services. It's odd, the back of the invoice says 100% money back guarantee after they reclean, yet when I asked for my money back all I got was, I'll send you $50 for the trim and $10 for your chipped tile. This obviously prompted follow-up with the BBB and Angie's List. It's one thing when something goes wrong, it's another thing when a company won't stand behind their product. If an F- were available, this company deserves that.
Description of Work: Scheduled for air duct cleaning and tile/grout cleaning. Additionally added on dryer vent on day of service when technician at home. Dryer Vent cleaning: Went well, no complaints. Appreciated the technician adding this service on as a birds nest was found. Tech had an extra bird cage in his truck and was able to apply for me that day (obviously at additional cost, but very efficient) Air Duct Cleaning: Actual cleaning without any complains, except the technicians did not clean up after themselves. Ended up having to re-secure window box cover, which is part of problem that led to window leaking later that evening. The main problem was the tech's went through the basement window to hook their HEPA vac to the heater. When they replaced the window, the seal wasn't secured. Also the window box cover was not replaced. That night we had heavy rain, and water leaked all down from the window. Pictures are available. The next day when the one technician came out, he said "Rafeal did this, and I never checked it". Nice to place blame on your partner, but further more that right there is a scape goat answer of it wasn't me, but it could be wrong. When the window was removed a second time, a whole bunch of debris was found that created room at the bottom for the water to leak through. Debris was right where the water marks on wall were. They then stated the window box was replaced, "but never checked". And as I had to replace it later in the day, I can vouch for it was never replaced. Later the owner of the company said her men said there were no clamps on it cover; despite being sent pictures of the actual clamp attachment. When trying to discuss this with Lori, all I got were insults and a whole bunch of "oh sure it was". This stemmed from my statement that the house did not take in any water during Hurricane Sandy; as we were actively in the settlement process and checking the house periodically with our realtor. Further more, the technician said on the second day when he came back, that they put the ladder in the window box to access the dryer vent. There is no way to know what damage this may or may not have caused. The company absolutely made no attempt to rectify this or provide any compensation for our damages. Lori kept stating "the window was old", "you have a french drain because of a water problem"; and failing to listen to the fact that we have legal disclosures stating french drain was preventative from previous owners when finishing basement and no water problems disclosed. When I mentioned that were were up till 4am checking water leak, she laughed and said "you didn't really lose sleep over this". Apparently we take pride in our home, and from the bags under my eyes of yes we did lose sleep! Also the window box was apparently suctioned out by them to remove the 8 inches of water but when we went to check 8 inches of water was still there. We manually emptied it by hand, and funny thing is, there is no more water in the box. Also with all the wind we are currently having, the box cover is managing to stay in place. Tile/Grout Cleaning: Areas consisted of upstairs baster and 2nd bath, completed fine with good results in tile/grout restoration. Downstairs area consisted of: kitchen, den off kitchen, hallway, and powder room. As everything dried the coloring of the grout was extremely uneven. The kitchen tile did not even look like it was cleaned, still dark. We have laminate floor next to our tile, and one of the floor boards is peeling after their cleaning, as well as 2 separate areas of trim where tile and laminates meet. So we called to report this as well, and the next day they came back to re-do the service. The technician said he saw the problem with the laminates and didn't see a problem with them replacing it. Yet Lori refused to replace with a product that matched our current laminates. "I can't do that, your's is old and the new trim will be new, it won't match". Unacceptable as everything matched before and looked real nice as well. (Pictures available) So on the 2nd day, the technician re-cleaned the floors with a different solution and interestingly enough put down a protective film on my laminates this time. Funny there is no damage there this time, it's a shame they cut corners and didn't do it right the first time. After they cleaned this time, we found 2 new chips in our tile. We actually had a picture of the tile from before and the technician even said "I don't see anything on there", as well as acknowledged the marks on the floor yet denied they came from the cleaning. After speaking to Lori, the manager, I got so many demeaning comments that "they told me you have cracks all over your floor", "your floors are old, this will happen". Yet no one ever provided me with any information to make me aware before these services were done that this was a risk. "I'll give you $10 for it, to match the other 20 cracks in your tile". Unprofessional does not even begin to describe this individual. Again never even an apology, just "our machines can't do that", "you would hear it crack". When I asked how was I supposed to hear it crack over the loud generator used for the cleaning, I was unable to be given an answer. It has now been the 5 hours since the cleaning and the tile that didn't look any different before, continues to not look any different. As well as now I've gained 2 new chips. There were a few cracks before hand that we were well aware of and
