Service was great. Paul was really professional and did a great job. He worked hard to fit in the work within the paid for 2-hour window. Definitely recommend Paul and Code Electric to friends.

The contractor called the same day that the request was made for the Big Deal, to discuss the work needed and to set an appointment time and date. I received a call from the contractor 30 minutes before the appointment time, to verify and notify me that he would be there as scheduled. He arrived at the precise time. Paul was the service person assigned to my job. Paul was extremely, polite, informative and very professional. We discussed the tasks to be performed and he proceeded to do the work. He completed the work within the allotted time and to my complete satisfaction. He tested and repaired what I needed done and cleaned up his work areas when he was finished. He answered any and all questions that I had. He gave me an estimate for the electrical service upgrade that I requested. He asked if there was anything else that I needed. He thanked me for the opportunity to do the work and would look forward to doing work for us in the future.

The experience was great. In fact I had them come back the next day to do some major electrical work. I highly recommend them. Danny was courteous and professional, while having a good sense of humor.

I received a phone call from Rob the same day I purchased the coupon and was able to have the work scheduled the next day. Paul called to say he was running a bit behind and would arrive about a half hour late. No problem and I appreciated the call. When he arrived I explained the problem and he removed the old wiring from the wall remote to the motor and replaced the wall remote with one I provided. We then discussed the LED's I wanted in the kitchen. We ended up installing 2 recessed 6 inch LED's in the ceiling which Paul went to pick up at Home Depot. The installation went smoothly, I won't have to paint anything.They also provide the perfect amount of light. 125 per light installed (including light sets) Paul finished up in about 4 hours including trip to store. We are very happy with the results and would use Code Electrical Contractors in the future for our electrical needs.

Throughout his work Paul displayed a thorough knowledge and ability to identify electrical issues. He took the time to explain and make recommendations. He is clearly passionate about his work.

Very pleased with this service. The contractor called me in a timely manner to set up an appointment. Paul, the electrician did a great job. He was professional, courteous and cleaned up after his work was done. He even removed my old microwave, saying he would recycle it. A job well done!

Very good experience. The contractor contacted me almost immediately, the work was scheduled. Contractor showed up at the promised time and did the work within the time/amount paid for with the Big Deal coupon. (2 hours work for $79) Total time from first contact to the completion of the job was very fast, about 4 days. Very professional and courteous.

They did a fantastic job. Got back to me right away and were able to fit an appointment in very quickly. Technician was on time and was able to isolate and solve our electrical problem. Highly recommend!

The electrician arrived on time and did a very good job. He was very nice and his suggestions were helpful. I had a concern with the billing which I expressed to one of the managers, John. John listened to my concerns and we were able to arrive at a solution that I was satisfied with. I would use them in the future,

Overall it was a great experience if all our interactions with code are as smooth and easy as our time with Paul we'll be repeat customers. I also spoke with John on the phone to set up the appointment and he was great. I wanted to know the hourly rate in case the project ran long, and it did, he was very clear what the hourly rate was and that usually the team quotes jobs not hours so they aren't nickel and diming you. I really appreciated his frankness and professionalism.

Overall, excellent service. The service man was the most courteous, kind, clean-shaven, etc. He was very efficient and intelligent. He also went extra distance by driving to the store to acquire the lights, bulbs, and other components before installing them. I would recommend this vendor to perform the service for anyone, and I would certainly consider using them in the future. Thank you very much indeed.

One word: WOW!! The young man they sent out was Paul. Extremely nice, respectful, courteous, and knowledgeable. He explained to us exactly what he was doing and why, while he worked. Went over the circuit breaker box and explained how it worked and what to do if needed to upgrade. To date, the best $79 I ever spent. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

They did the estimate the first day they came and said that financing was available since I said I did not have all the money.. I contacted Core a day later and their boss said he would call me after setting up the loan. An hour later he called and gave me the numbers associated with the work and the loan. A call to the loan company had me approved for the amount needed within 10 minutes. It is an interest-free loan if paid off in 12 months. After a second call to Code, they set up the appointment for the work to be done about 5 days later. They did a great job under dire weather conditions that day (pouring rain at about 30F - which they had to initial work in to get all the new wiring/power hooked up). The job was completed in about 8 hours. Seeing the intial deal on Angie's List for a 2 hour electrical job at $79 got them to my house and moved me to get on the stick, for my own peace of mind. I should have done this years ago, but better late than never. I liked the two fellows who came initially and they were the ones who returned. Their boss gave them a good recommendation after their first visit and they privately said each was a great person to work with. They seemed completely coordinated in dealing with what I consider a major job. You should have seen the wires after the two old boxes were removed. Like hundreds of pieces of spaghetti. I thought how will they ever get them all back into the new much larger box. but they did. This is something anyone with an old house (mine was built in 1925, and fortunately did not still have fuses), but the two old boxes next to one another with faded labels had to go. I was fortunate that I never had any electrical problems, perhaps only a circuit breaker needing to be turned back on 3 or 4 times in 25 years. Another plus that I think will apply, since this was news to me before a week ago. Doing new home improvements can lower your home insurance. I was just told by an insurance man that my 2 year old new roof (and I assume this new electrical, and maybe my also relatively new heating system) will give me lower rates. Seems logical, since they are all home safety features. Remember to check it out with your insurance company and save all your receipts.

The electrician that came to my home was professional, efficient and quick. He made a point of staying within the two hours for the $79.00 coupon offer. In fact he finished one half hour ahead of time. Excellent work.

Code Electric workers arrived on time. very mannerly and professional. He gave us estimate for additional work to be done. All work was completed in timely fashion. I would use Code Electric again

Will was great. The other electrician had a little more of a learning curve and he did a little damage to a wall. However, in the end, they did well and I would use them again. They worked quickly and got more done that I imagined could be done in such a short time frame.

I purchased the big deal on Dec. 13, 2013 and as of today Jan. 23rd I have yet to been able to schedule service. I received one email message that they would call me to schedule. I never got a phone call. I messaged them a few times via the Angie's List portal, no reply. UPDATE: After my initial review, the contractor contacted me. Apparently there was a mixup with their scheduling system and my request was missed. They sent a technician out the next day to perform my job. He was very friendly and professional and did an excellent job installing my ceiling fan!

Paul was sent to do the work. Paul came over and did everything on time. He continued working and did not complain throughout the proccess and was very pleasant. Paul knew what he was doing. I would ask for Paul again if I used this company in the future. He treated me very well.
