Description of Work: Put in vinyl flooring in 3 bathrooms, as well as towel racks/tp holders; fixed crown molding in living/family rooms; previous installer did a terrible job. Joe of Dixie was skilled enough to make it right. Often not easy to correct someone else's poor craftsmanship. tightened outside faucet; quality work & results. Will call them for a return when we decide on flooring for rest of house, in 2016.

Description of Work: I contacted them ahead of time with the list. They did: Replace a bathroom fan that stopped working, Caulk all outside windows, replace outside spigot, replace drywall inside shed and fix the wrap around a post. All the work was done well. They told me what supplies were needed for the spigot after they got there while they started on the other things. Since it was two people it was half a day (whole day is based on one man). They communicated back to me promptly each time I emailed. I did ask for a date a month after I purchased the deal so I could get a Saturday.

Description of Work: I contacted the company because I wanted an estimate on a finished basement. I asked them 7 days ago if they could contact me so that they could come out and give me an estimate but have not heard back from them at all. Would like to use them but they are not contacting us.

Description of Work: They did a beautiful job repairing my drywall. They were courteous and everything was spotless when they finished. I would highly recommend them.

Description of Work: I purchased a big deal for $299.00 Handyman for a day. The service provider never reached out to me and it was a horrible experience.

Description of Work: I bought the contractor for a day deal. They reached out to me immediately to schedule the job. They removed carpet and staples from 3 rooms and the stairs. They did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. I would surely use them again for future projects.

Description of Work: Replaced 3 Storm Doors. They were here all day doing this job as house is old and not easy to fit new doors. Did not even take a brake. Wow!!

Description of Work: Generally speaking, everything went well. Initially there was some difficulty in getting the service scheduled (partly the result of my limited schedule and partly from an emergency they had to work around), but when the day came, they arrived very punctually and ready to go. They went above and beyond my list, not only completing it all but also patching a few drywall spots I'd not requested and giving me some advice on a couple of future repairs. | |There only critique I would give relates to a couple of things I noticed after they left; first, clear silicone was used to caulk around my bathroom sinks. On the one hand, this has the advantage of matching any surface color and virtually disappearing from view. However, there are a few gaps between marble surfaces in my bathrooms that now look dark and dirty behind the silicone; in retrospect, I would have preferred an opaque caulk. Also, while the drywall repairs were done well, the dried joint compound on the patches was not sanded completely smooth before the crew left and some drywall and mudding residue was left in my shower stall for me to clean. Fortunately, though, I work a mean sander and the residue was not extensive, so these are relatively minor points. | |Overall, I was pleased with the work done; the crew leader was chatty and friendly and made sure everything got done; he even kept asking me if I had other things for them to do while they were there since my list wasn't very complicated or extensive. I would use them again.

Description of Work: They installed an HDMI chord behind the wall. They installed crown molding on the first floor den through the kitchen. Did a great job dealing with a "settled" ceiling from 20 years of settling. We bought this service on deal from Angie's list. Ended up over the time allowed by 2 hours. Not bad for overage.

Description of Work: I had a list of jobs for both indoor and outdoor, keeping in mind that it was one of the coldest days of the winter. 2 men arrived as scheduled with tools, drop cloths and an eagerness to get going. They tackled the list with skill and professionalism. Men were very courteous and respectful of my home. I am going to be creating a list for spring and you can be sure that Dixie will get my call.

Description of Work: The Dixie team does a fantastic job! I purchased the interior painting package for our new home that we just made settlement on. We had a full basement to be painted (using 3 colors) and a bunch of medium to small paint jobs. The guys were punctual, clean, courteous and dedicated to getting things done. Truthfully, I was worried things would not get done on time since we had carpets scheduled to install at the end of the week, yet they knocked it all out right on time. I will certainly use them again and I highly suggest you give them the opportunity. It was well worth the money!

Description of Work: The work was done well and they are very friendly. The only delay happened, when they just needed a picture of my project instead of going on-site to look at project. When work was supposed to be completed they needed to come back on a different day, because didn't have the right materials. Overall the job was completed.

Description of Work: Hung wooden blinds, fixed a banister, and hung a pine door for bedroom.
