Dixie Total Home Maintenance has the tools and the know how to get the job done to your satisfaction. And we stand behind our work with a 12-month warranty on all labor*. If we installed it then we warrant the installation*. Materials are warranted by manufacturer and we follow all directions to ensure you meet all manufacturers specs. If we come back for the same install it is free. You paid to have it installed right. Not twice.

Description of Work: They repaired a damaged that was cause by a fire on my sun's room. They repair the ceiling, wall and also replaced the damage sub floor plus did some painting and carpeting too.

Description of Work: I met with the owner prior to any work being done and felt confident based on our meeting. In the weeks coming up to the work date, I had a hard time coordinating what I needed to purchase, etc., but thought it was all sorted out. I took the day off they were coming and 2 other guys came and didn't get to my house until 1015 and then realized, that I was told to order the wrong doors. The guys left to exchange the doors and didn't return for 3 hours, even though store was 15 min away. They ended up working for 4 hours and informed me they had to come back next day. Thus was very inconvenient since I had already taken the day off and had little work accomplished. | |Day 2, the guys arrived at 915. They started working and honestly didn't finish any of the outstanding work completely. They ran out of wood for my outside trim, so just completed what they could with the materials they had, ran out of cement for my steps, and also after they asked if they should take my old doors and I said yes, they left both doors and nails all over my garage. I now need to find help to dispose of the doors myself. | |I really had a great feeling about this company, but was quite disappointed with quality of the work, the professionalism of the guys, as well as the clean up.

This person has no malice in this review. We appreciate her leaving this review. Most folks don't. After a meeting we can only say that we dropped the ball. It was a comedy of stupid errors and it started with me. She sent pics and I miss read them and ordered the wrong swing. We returned them but listen to the GPS when we knew there was a Lowe's next town over. The dumbest is the clean up. The old I thought you got it routine. We totally and completely let her down. We have made changes that will insure that this never, EVER, happens again. She does say she would try us again so we appreciate that very much. We can promise to try our best to earn her trust again.

She purchased a paint special wanted an entire place painted with it. The special was for 2 painters for 8 hrs. We were there 10hrs. We are not hacks. Prep is more important than the painting if you want a nice job. But she was more in a rush than anything else. She got what she paid for. We like a nice job. So should you. Rushing us through and not allowing for the paint to properly dry before applying the second coat will not give you a nice finish. We will be pulling this deal from our store as it is the second time that folks did not read the deal that they are purchasing.

These folks are why we do these specials. It gives folks a chance to meet us and see that there are guys out there who care. She had an unsafe rail but no parts. We went out and got what was needed to make things safe. Upon ripping out the carpet we found a hardwood floor underneath. With a little TLC it can be stunning.

She is correct. The ceiling had a leak and we removed the area, Installed the drywall but it just was not even. We explained that we would need to come back to try to blend it in. We went back 4 times. Once she was no home. We also did not charge as it was no one's fault but we wanted it to look nice. We are sorry it wasn't going as quickly as she would have liked, but some jobs take time to do correctly. Good luck and we hope everything works out for you.

My mother had a heart attack the day before this appointment and passed away on Labor Day. In that spirit, I will not say anything negative as my mom would not have liked it. But this is yet another F from someone we have never met. In fact, most of our F's come from folks who can not wait their turn as we are a first come first serve company or the folks who think that because they have a big job that we should skip the folks with the little jobs. And people like this who assume we are like every other contractor. That is not how we work. If we miss an appointment it was due to an unforeseen event. We do emergency repairs and they take precedence. We also have families and things sometimes happen there. We rarely just don't show up. But it has happened. I hope that the next time a contractor is a bit late or maybe even misses an appointment that you remember one thing before you go assuming the worse. WE ARE HUMANS TOO. To any folks who called in the last couple of weeks please feel free to reach out again to us. We are almost caught up and should be scheduling again soon. To the people whose jobs were affected by the delay and were kind and patient and gave us the opportunity to complete what we started, thank you. Angie's army is the best.

We appreciate the grade but there was it bit more to it. We removed trim, removed toilet/vanity, scrape old floor up (it was not in good shape), installed floor, reinstalled toilet, New vanity, trim. The vanity had to be replumbed to make it work with existing plumbing.
