Joey and Jared came on time (in fact, a few minutes early-yay!). They were professional and respectful when dealing with me; listened to my needs and concerns; made suggestions as to possible resolutions to the various problems (taking into consideration cost factors since we are putting our house on market soon); worked quickly and efficiently; and cleaned up everything when finished. They got through my initial list with time left on the 3 1/2 hour deal (I had purchased 3 1/2 hours for $299) so they encouraged me to find other items which required fixing up (even took care of some items for which I thought I was going to have to hire a electrician). I have already recommended them to some of my friends! Thanks Joey & Jared for a job well done!

Joey and his team were great - really nice guys. Joey took care of the town permits and inspections in a timely manner - this included 3 different inspections steps from the township. The wood steps were completed in a week. They were sturdy and well made. They also patched the concrete on my rear steps. And while they were there, they even got up on the roof and added a drip-edge to my roof. Joey had promised to come back in the fall to stain and water seal the wood after it has had some time to breathe. True to his word, he came back in the fall and stained my wood steps without extra charge.

There was a misstep in stage 1 with some work not being done, but Joey, the owner, responded quickly to rectify the situation. All the work done was good quality. I would use them again

I hired the company to repair a light fixture and for some remodeling in the kitchen. Two technicians came out. One was very knowledgeable and the other was not skilled. They spent about 7-8 hours on the project and were not able to complete what we needed done. We also had to pay an additional fee for the extra time they were out to my home. They offered to come back out but I chose not to have them back. I had no problem scheduling their service.

I really can?t say enough good things about Joey and his team. This job grew from replacing a damaged floor to a complete remodel and he handled it all in stride. From the start I was confident that everything was being done the right way. Joey and his team are very polite and don?t mess around. They got right to work every day and they were able to transform our little old bathroom into what is now the most beautiful and modern-looking room in the whole house. When they needed supplies, I would either give them a Lowes gift card or order what was needed to be picked up by them right at the store. Very little to worry about on my end and a great way to show that they aren?t making any hidden money off of markups! Joey was honest, straightforward, and very fair in all his interactions, which was truly appreciated. He knew this was a big undertaking for us and he made us feel like we were always his first priority. The whole job took 6 days with Joey and one of his team coming back on a Saturday to do finishing touches and make sure everything was perfect. These guys are already in my contact list for the next project! I am attaching some before and after shots to give a better idea of the work that was involved.

On initial visit we did a quite thorough appraisal of several items that needed repair. Estimate was given, names of all employees were given and repair was scheduled. They were on time, knowledgable in all areas of home repair and even had some suggestions for me on projects that I wanted to do Had been ripped off before and was very skeptical. They reaasured us that we were making the right decision. We are pleased. Oh did I add professional. They discussed with me beforehand everything they were doing. Couldn't complete my nap(smile)

The work took 2 full days, and the guys were very friendly and kept me informed throughout. Joey was there for one of the 2 days and took special care to make sure the floor transition between the bedroom and bath was made even so that a mobility device could be rolled through the opening. They did a very nice job and we are really happy with the result, and definitely plan to ask them to come back for more work that we need done.

Paid for 4 hours for $199.00 the two young men showed up and TOOK over 8 hours to install drywall in a 5x7 bathroom, this was without doing any mudding, thus costing me another $500.00. Joey called and sent them back the next day which took them about 3 hours to do the mudding. The mudding we found on Sunday morning before sanding was still wet and pilling in the corner, if this was behind the vanity or linen closet it would not have been a big deal, BUT its in an exposed corner. The bathroom was completely gutted, therefor they had no barriers to got around. We feel the young men were prolonging the job to get more money and they did. Joey did send them back out on Friday to do the mudding at no extra charge, he had slready gotten an extra $500.00

They were ok. They tried to fix an older faucet upstairs but weren’t able to fix. I ended up replacing it with another service provider He was friendly and talkative. Two guys came out. I asked them to install wire shelves in the laundry room and asked him to bring more wire caps but he never did. I can see a difference from this company and the other company that I used after Dixie.

The initial communication was good. Scheduling took a long time but we finally decided on a day 2 weeks from the day we bought the deal. Dixie said they would be at my home between 8:30-9:00 and never showed up. Finally at 11am we reached out by email and was told that there was an emergency that needed attention. Apparently there is no other staff to honor appointments. No one called to reschedule our appointment. We had to reach out to them. After hours of no contact, we rescheduled them for the next day at 12:30. Workers showed up at 2:30 and told me that the job would take much longer than the 4 hours in the deal and that anything beyond the 4 hours was $100 extra/hour. The drywall that was going to be installed would NOT be paint ready and that I would definitely incur additional charges to get it paint ready. The laborers let me speak to Joey who was not at all apologetic about not showing up the day before and when I mentioned it, his exact words were, "well, we are there now." The laborers were very nice and respectful of my sleeping toddler, me, and even my dog. However, the in office person, Joey, who apparently does the scheduling, was not. Canceled the deal and will never use their services.

Joey and his team came out and gave me some great ideas and a quote. They were booked for several weeks so work started a few weeks after the estimate. They worked very quickly to remove all the debris that needed to go. The project took a bit longer than anticipated (about a day or two) but they did not charge for that extra time and communicated with me throughout so it was not an issue. There are two things really great about Dixie. The first is that Joey and his team will throw some ideas at you that are just fantastic. Things you would never think of on your own. That comes from their years of experience. Some of ideas i took, and others i didn't but i appreciated the dialogue. The other great thing is as the project progressed, my own ideas and preferences changed. I communicated them to Dixie and they made the adjustments with no problem. I would definitely recommend and use again.

It went really well. Joey explains every step of the process so you feel comfortable. They were on time and very professional. I would definitely use them again.

Good communication...fixed issue. Only suggestion would be to request one worker for full 4 hrs rather than two workers for 2 hours if you are looking to have drywall work done. My simple fix still will require further spackling and sanding that was not able to be done in 2hrs but would have been fine over 4hrs. They were able to cut out the damage, secure new drywall, tape, and two layers of spackle. Very clean and pleasant workers.

I hired them again a couple of weeks later to finish the entire job.

After removing the beams that were attached to my house and roof, they made it look like there were never any beams there. They finished the woodwork where needed and replaced shingles that were affected by the removal of the beams from the roof. Before painting my house, they had to prep along with removing and repairing wood that was in very bad shape. They also had to remove hooks and nails that had been put above the windows all over the house. They did a wonderful job with both of the project requests I made. I definitely plan to use Dixie Total Home Maintenance again.

Joe and Joey arrived when expected, we're extremely friendly and very professional. They completed the work we had agreed to do on time and did a great job. I used the deal they offered on Angie's list, but they're normal pricing seemed fair as well, and they were very up-front about all potentially hidden costs, which was really appreciated. I'd definitely use them again.

When i booked they were 60-90 out before they could do the work, and didnt return calls. had to call 3 times for a response, only when i threatend to cancel did they call, and then i canceled as it was now another 30 days.

Last year we used Dixie after purchasing a Big Deal from Angie's List. They were so good we started making a list for jobs for 2014. Joey, Joe & Jay arrived and immediately began to work. They work quickly, cleanly and in no time had completed every single thing on our list. They cleaned up after themselves. They are polite, friendly and professional. As they were leaving I asked if they do mulching and Joey said yes. Wish I'd thought to ask him that BEFORE I paid big bucks for someone else to put down mulch. Now I know for next year. We have already begun talking about things we'd like to do next year and Dixie will be our 1st phone call.

Very good experience - more of a B+ than a B. The work was performed quickly and correctly. They cleaned out the gutters which went beyond what I asked them to do, so I was plaesed with that. The only reason this wasn't an A grade was that communications could have been much better. I purchased an Angies List Big Deal for 6 man hours of home repair in March, but the first available appointment was in June. No issue there, but I never got any updates after the appointment was set until I sent a message through the AL web site the Tuesday before. They did respond quickly to that, though. Then, the day of the appointment, I never got a message that they would be running late (another emergency job came up) because that message was sent to my work e-mail vice a call to my cell phone. Again, not a huge issue but could have been better.

They were friendly, showed up on time and did good work.

This is the second time I used Dixie and we used them this time because they did such a good job for the first time we used them from Angie's list. The extra $20 in the cost was for them purchasing the grout instead of us buying it. Two men came to do the job plus the owner came and introduced himself to us. The two workers went into the bath room hung plastic over the door to keep the dust from going into the bedroom and start to work. They used a machine to pull out the old grout and started to immediately put in the new grout. All this was done with out stopping and they were done in about 2 hours they cleaned up and removed all the old grout in a bag. Each man was a professional and very efficient, yet they took time to introduced them selves and make us feel we were special to them in what we needed. After they were done they had my wife look it over. She was very satisfied with the new look of having new grout in still very good tile. (by re-grouting we probably saved over $800 cost of if we had replaced the tile. We are already going over projects for them to do for us in the future.

The entire experience was a pleasant one. I was contacted quickly after purchasing the big deal from Dixie. Their avalable dates were a couple months out but I expected that as I had red reviews and realize they are very popular. We settled on a date that we both didn't realize at the time was Memorial Day. After this realization they pushed me up on their schedule to a sooner time rather than trying to push me back, which was much appreciated. The two man crew arrived right on time at my house and quickly got to work. They had my to-do list printed and ready and informed me that they thought they could get through more of it than I had originally expected and got to work as I stepped out to buy more paint for the trim which I originally didn't think they would have time to get to. They completed all the hardware installs and finished the difficult part of the trim (the windows) in the time allotted. The rest of the job was definitely something I could have handled myself but I was so happy with their speed and efficiency that I asked if they had enough time to stay and finish the paint job at their normal rate, which is very reasonable at $100 an hour for TWO people working together. After checking they were able to stay and finish the trim. Our living room looks a lot brighter now and it no longer has a hazardous chandelier handing in the middle of the room, and we are all much happier when using our bathroom now (sorry if that's TMI). I already discussed a could other projects with them which I intend to use them for in the future.
