After some back and forth conversation, he never followed up on a price. We already had a fan and it was a simple replacement. It appeared that once he found out that was all we wanted he lost interest. If it was too small a job or something he wasn't interested in, he should have told us that.

The contractor was responsive in setting up appointment to assess job and dates to conduct the a work. Quote was provided in writing and agreed upon. Workers arrived on time and did an excellent job. Ceiling looks as good as new. Great value for the job done. I'd use them again.

The guys with Dixie THM are fantastic. Personable, punctual and neat. They installed our new kitchen countertop and backsplash. Did a great job. Both are perfect. When they came to install the countertop it was raining. They layed brown paper to protect our carpeting which very much impressed me. They clean up after themselves. You would never know they were there. We plan to have them back for other projects and highly recommend them.

The provider sent out two workers to handle repair. They came in to assess work area and then went out to purchase supplies. They were fast and very PROFESSIONAL. Planning to use them for additional work around house.

These guys were great. Always on time, very personable, and most importantly, they do great work. From the time they started the job till the time they finished, they worked. No slacking with this crew. Joey is a great guy to have to do your work. His crews do a great job. I have more work that I want done, and Dixie THM is the number that I'm going to call.

He did a very good estimation of how much it will probably cost and he advise me about remodeling the house.

We were so happy with the work Dixie just did in our kitchen that we asked Joey and his team to come back and build a new front porch for us. I am still trying to figure out if there is anything these guys can't do. The old brick entrance was badly deteriorating. I asked Joey his opinion and he suggested we look at using the no maintenance composite decking material (similar to TREX, but of a higher quality). He also suggested a supplier he knew who had good prices on this material. To keep cost down, we decided on a standard 8'x4' porch that would give us a little more room than we currently had. Joey showed up with one of his staff the day we decided (a very humid one at that) and got to work taking apart the old brick and cement entrance. They then built the frame of the new porch and before we knew it, we had beautiful, new, and maintenance free front porch. We are surprised how big of an aesthetic difference the new porch makes. Joey found a little deterioration from water where our siding met the old entrance and sealed it off for us. Additional, he laid the decking in a way which allowed him to seal the connection and place some nice-looking white trim along the seam, so he could minimize any further water damage. They even went as far as to bring white lattice with them, without me asking, to finish off the look of the porch and spread mulch around the bottom so there was no space where you could see underneath. I am attaching before and after pictures for reference, but the really don't do justice to what bad shape the steps where in before and how great the new porch looks now. Thanks again to Dixie for a wonderful job! It is so refreshing to find a contractor that truly believes in doing quality work at a fair price!!

Great company that I have used twice now using big deals. They go above and beyond and are willing to fix anything. Best handyman service I have used.

I've used Joey and his team in the past so I already knew the quality and efficiency with which he and his team work. I was not disappointed this time around. We contacted him when we first started talking about re-doing our kitchen. We wanted the hardwood look for the floor but liked the durability of tile. Joey told us about this tile that looks just like hard wood but still gives you the benefit of a water-proof and durable tile floor. We are very happy with the result. The first day, they showed up ready to work and without even asking, put up a plastic barrier and floor cover so the dust from sanding wouldn't get all over the house. They the sanding of the doors outside, but some indoor work couldn't be avoided because we were not ripping out the old cabinets. This was especially appreciated as my 1-year-old son stays home all day with one of his grandparents. These guys are so courteous and pleasant to work with. I not only think so, but I got feedback from all of the grandparents who were at my house throughout the week on how nice, considerate, and hard working the Dixie team is. We are extremely happy with the work they did in our kitchen. We purchased the tile, sub-floor materials, cabinet hardware, and paint. They picked up the heavy stuff for us on their way to the house and got the job done well in less time than estimated. One thing that really impressed me was the work done on the last day after all the big stuff had been finished. They went around the entire kitchen touching up little nicks in paint, filling in flooring gaps between the tile and baseboards, adjusting cabinet hinges, cleaning the floor of all excess grout, replacing baseboards, even putting those little felt pads on the inside of the cabinet doors so they don't make a loud slamming noise every time you close them, and tons of other things that I'm sure I've missed. This may not sound like a big deal, but you'd be surprised at what some people miss. These are the kinds of things that while they don't take a lot of time to fix, can be disappointing when you come across them a week or so down the line. Another important thing to note is that we got granite counter tops installed right before they started work. When they left, there wasn't so much as a speck of dust on them. They really take care to respect the surroundings when they work, but they don't let anything stand in the way of doing the quickest and best job possible. We were so happy that they are already booked to come back and replace our deteriorating front porch. Thanks, again Dixie! Keep this up and eventually, you will have rebuilt every room in our house!!

Joey & Ryan came on time and immediately set to work. They had brought several bags of mulch and it wasn't enough so while Ryan continued to work Joey made a quick run to Lowes/HomeDepot to get more (it took 15 bags!). Everything was done quickly, professionally and correctly. We'd asked for an estimate to add a drain spout and Joey looked at the problem area & our gutters. He determined it wouldn't be necessary to go to the expense of adding a new downspout. He said a diverter would do the trick and he went about taking care of that. In addition to everything on the list they also: fixed the door knob on the door between the garage & the house, it kept coming loose! We'd been re-screwing it every other day. We haven't needed to do anything to it since they were here! They also put a extender on an existing downspout to divert the water from our garage entry door! We have used Dixie a couple of times in the past few years. We are always 100% satisfied with their work & have recommended them to others. Yes, we will use them again. Joey has the unique ability to look at our list and then ask what exactly we need/want the result to be and then determines the best way to get the job done. He usually comes up with a suggestion that is a lot less expensive. Also our dog, Charlie Brown, loves when they come, he thinks Joey comes just to visit with him.

Joey and his gang were great to work with. They impressed me from the minute they came in the front door and laid out a roll of paper to protect our carpeting. They were professional and very personable. They did a fantastic job installing our new kitchen counter. They cleaned up before they left which also impressed me. They are coming back in a few weeks to install a backsplash. I look forward to working with them again and again. There is always something that needs to be done.

Contacted Joey via e-mail regarding install of ~1000 square feet of hardwood floors (not by any means a small job or a small price tag). Received a prompt reply that I would be provided a quote within 24 hours, after he had a chance to speak with is floor guy. I asked if he needed to come out to the property in order to give me an accurate quote (to measure, assess transitions), but was told that he did not and that estimates would be made using the 1000 square foot that I provided him. One week later I have received no response, and yesterday sent an e-mail back to Joey to express my disappointment about the communication. I am recently in a new home with many anticipated big-ticket projects including fencing, bathroom remodels, large-scale interior paint jobs, etc. so it is disappointing to have this experience with someone who had received such positive Angie's List reviews. Regardless -- I had already purchased the hardwood and will not be waiting around for weeks at a time for communication; as such I have made alternate arrangements with another flooring company.

I cannot say enough good things about this company but will try.I prefer to purchase my own fixtures and just pay for the install.when I purchased my frameless glass shower doors I realized not a lot of people had experience in installing them. Until I found this company...no problem they tackled that job easy piesey..so I also jhad them install 2 console bathroom sinks which included reinforcing the wall to hold the weight of the wall mount sink.both sinks look awesome.next they installed a simple cove molding in two of my bedrooms which makes such huge difference.the molding added so much character to the rooms.then they put the skirting inder my deck and a finishing edge deck around my sunroom. they work nonstop and in an very organized way.everyone knows what they are supposed to do and they get it down. you will not be disappointed if you hire this company.they will be back at my house and they will be the first one I call for everything I need in the future... thanks Joey.Joe and Tyler

Prompt, neat, courteous, hard-working, honest. Great communication. They are multiply skilled and can take on almost any remodeling or maintenance job. A pleasure to deal with. I can not recommend them highly enough! I will continue to use them for all my home projects.

Great group of guys! They arrived on time and were ready to work. The guy Joe who installed the backsplash in my kitchen was very careful with his work which i really appreciated. They also took the time to make sure not to make a big mess and cleaned up as best they could afterwards. Joey was also able to squeeze in a quick fixer on my front door to make sure it closed properly. All in all this exceeded my expectations and the price was very reasonable. I would definitely look for other projects for this company to do in the future.

Best contractors I've ever dealt with. High quality. Accomplished a lot in a short period of time. Definitely more work coming their way.

They had scheduleing issues. They gave me three different dates as options and they said no they weren’t available until may. Bad customer service.

Dixie was quick to contact me about available times to repair the drywall. The two gentlemen showed up on time and noticed that they would have to purchase some drywall material and drywall cement mix for the job. After patching the hole they offered to paint it which they did. Once everything was done they said I would have to pay for the material(which is perfectly fair, no materials were included in the service and that was clearly stated) and offered to buy back the drywall cement mix which was great because I the house was a rental and I was moving out in a week anyways. I wrote them a check for the cost of the materials(paid for the service through Angies List) and they were on their way. Got a call the next day from the owner of the company saying that the guys didn't use the full two hours(no problem for me, I just wanted the ceiling fixed) and that he wouldn't feel right taking the money, and mailed the check back to me! The two gentlemen that came to work did offer to do any other work until the time was up but I just didn't have anything else for them to do. It is such a relief to come across an honest, hardworking, small time business like Dixie and I'd recommend them to anyone!

The gentlemen from Dixie were both very helpful, ready to think out how to get each of the larger jobs done, and offer suggestions and options. They worked quickly and left the work areas clean. One the patio enclosure, the more pressing work was completed (in 20 degree weather!) and plans are made to bring them back for additional work when I can have the interior set to renovate. On the kitchen job, I explained my problem, fully expecting that the old existing cabinet was ready for the trash heap, but Joe basically re-screwed and repaired each component, leveled all the doors and drawers, and left things much better than I had seen them in 20+ years. It was a thrill to see my range finally placed where it belonged. This was a Deal for 8 man-hours of work, so cheaper than their regular rate, definitely a bargain. I am impressed with their work, and will bring them back in for other jobs.

I contacted this provider about an estimate and the professionalism of the email was sub par. We didn't even make it past initial correspondences because they found it unnecessary to travel for a quote on a concrete patio replacement. The emails messages were full of typos and I did not feel comfortable moving forward. They also charge $100 per hour for 2 men instead of simply quoting for a project. Paying hourly can create problems if the customer does not feel employees are working efficiently.

We did not go with them for the work. They were very responsive and professional. They came out right way to give us an estimate. Their estimate was close in price to other estimates that we received.

Joey Lebron is just wonderful! The jobs took longer than expected and he came out to make everything right. We'd used Dixie a couple of times in the past and plan on using them again in the future.
