Description of Work: This was a Big Deal for $199.00 for 6 hours of home repair or remodeling. This was for general maintenance. They never contacted me and I ended up cancelling the Big Deal and I got a refund. We needed the work quickly as we were putting our home on the market and we needed the repairs.

Description of Work: Took a lot longer than 3 hours. I hired them to install 1 closet door, 3 interior doors, including one door jamb, and change two locks. I purchased almost all of the materials ahead of time, but one door was the wrong size so the one person took it back to the store 5 miles away(with the receipt to exchange it) and then brought back the wrong size door himself, so he had to go back to the store a second time, (total trip was 50 minutes) which wasted time. I can see how I made the mistake of getting the wrong door, but he shouldn't have, since he is supposed to be the professional. As I previously had paid for the door, at the end of the session I didn't expect to be charged again for the cost of the door. I was in such a rush to get them out of my house, I didn't even realize they were charging me for a door I had already paid for! Two of the doors they installed were cut wrong and are too small for the door openings. One is too big and squeaks and is somewhat difficult to close. They blamed it on the house, if you can believe that. The house is 15 years old - not exactly an old house. The one person who did work was fine, it was the person who was measuring and cutting the doors that I feel did not do a good job and took a long time. Instead of measuring the openings of the doors he used the old doors to cut the new ones - which you would think would make sense - so then how did they end up not fitting the openings and taking so much time? Just an unprofessional job, frankly. I would not recommend this company - not for installing doors, that's for sure. And, not very honest. Who charges a customer for materials that the customer already paid for?

Description of Work: The three Jay's came out as scheduled.They installed mail box, fixed my shed, cleaned and fixed gutters repaired concrete. Description of Work: Getting on the schedule is the main problem, but alot of that was the weather, the popularity of Angies list + that I wanted concrete work done in the winter/spring. I had them repair squirrel damage, preventive maintance for the future squirrel attempts to enter and put up a light post. They were creative in their approach to how to solve my problems and the added expenses were realistic. They missed one thing on the checklist and said they would come back for it, but I also had added a large item to the checklist.

Description of Work: I was totally satisfied with the service. They were true to their word about their arrival time and two workmen finished the job without taking even one break, and left the house with no mess for me to clean up. I would highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: I bought an angies list deal and Dixie home maintenance did a great job. I had several small projects to be completed ie: dry rot on my porch and fence, replacement of some damaged finish molding, 2 doors not closing correctly, and the installation of 2 hose hangers. My entire list was completed in the time they had and everything was done well.

Description of Work: Repaired numerous areas in our home. Plumbing, tile, grout, cabinets and drawers. They were punctual and professional. We will use them again as soon as we compile a "to do" list. Thank you.

Description of Work: I had multiple small maintance jobs done. They hung 2 sets of bifold doors fix a shower handle, repair a leak, and patch some holds in the wall made by the doors. The two gentlemen who came were very professional and friendly. They worked quickly and effiencently finished all those jobs in 3 hours. They were absolutely wonderful. I would use them again in a minute.
