The guy was to come yesterday at 11:30 , but was late so I send him pics to view the work and meet up later since my other appointment had got delayed . When I texted asking him when he will come he said something has come up and he needs to reschedule. What I did not appreciate is he did not react on the pics or did not inform me that he can't make it even later. I had rushed back to manage his time .

Description of Work: I have a large silver maple in my yard which had long, thick and heavy lateral branches, some of which broke off during two recent storms causing major damage. Insurance cover the debris removal and damage to my siding and fence, but not mitigation work on the tree. USAF was the only tree service of several I contacted through Angie’s List, plus 3 others I called and left messages. I was quoted a reasonable price to remove several other large lateral branches, including ones overhanging my neighbors’ yards, pool and sheds. Also, I needed some broken branches stuck high in the tree removed, plus clean cut the previous broken branches to minimize introduction of rot and disease. After a couple of rescheduled dates due to weather factors, they arrived yesterday as scheduled and did a phenomenal job that required a worker exclusively climbing around the tree to cut and lower the branches (some very large) into my yard. I would definitely recommend USAF.

+ -1 moreI would definitely work with USAF Tree service again. They came out quickly to provide an estimate, which was reasonable. Several trees had been knocked down by a storm onto our vinyl fence. USAF cut the fallen trees, removed a few dangling limbs, wood-chipped as necessary, and removed any remaining branches or trunks of wood (we didn't get the stump ground). We couldn't schedule the service quite as quickly as originally stated, but once we had a firm date they showed up on time and did the job well. All interactions with them were friendly and polite.

+ 0 moreRay provided a reasonable estimate for cutting down 3-4 medium size branches that were broken during the last storm. Said he would do the job on August 12. Did not show up. Called the office and was told they were very busy and would now remove the branches today (August 19) around 4 PM. Did not show up. Supposedly USAF is Angie's List certified. Not sure how. It was a total waste of my time and to day I had to cancel a previously scheduled doctor's appointment just to accommodate them.
Description of Work: Was a total disappointment. No show on the designated day.

+ -1 moreI claimed a deal on Angie's List and brought in USAF for a quote and then decided to go with them for the service. The deal was for $100 off a $1,000 job and the job estimate was exactly $1,000. Upon speaking with Reiner and informing him about the deal he refused to honor it and then cancelled my appointment and hung up on me. I contacted Angie's List and they are investigating this company after what was reported. I had another company lined up anyway that I will go with who are more professional and should have used in the first place, just a shame I wasted time here.

When I called the next week, they called and said they were very busy and would call the following week to set up a time to call me; they didn't call. I'm done.

The trees being removed were between my house and my neighbor with little room to work making the job slightly more dangerous.
