+ -1 moreGreen Valley did a great job cleaning up the yard at our new home, which was pretty neglected and overgrown when we moved in. The crew showed up not long after we hired them, in the middle of busy summer, and worked quickly. The results looked great, except for one thing: they missed a section of the yard along the side of the house. I exchanged voice messages with them a few times, each time explaining that a small part of the yard had not been cleaned up. After my last message, I didn't hear back, and no one came to check it out or finish the job. I think this was merely an oversight as the result of a busy time of year, but bottom line is the job wasn't finished as contracted. If they were to make good on that missed section, I would definitely use them again!
Description of Work: Major yard cleanup, including trimming fallen tree away from house and removing dead plants.

+ 4 moreThe process is simple. Upon contacting Mr. Mercurio, he quickly responded, and he did a site evaluation of my laencare needs. We discussed want needed to be done and when. We set up a contract from Spring 2011 to late fall 2011. We pay him and he does the work.
Description of Work: I contracted with Richard J. Mercurio's company--Green Valley Lawn and Landscape, Inc.-- to provide lawncare: pruning, edging, mowing, lawn treatments, and irrigation maintenance and set-up. His company does excellent work. He is eager to provide his expert knowledge and reasoned advice to his customers.
