+ -1 moreThe first day they showed up much later than they said they would. Took down 2 trees and left the mess all over the property. Said they had to leave and they would be back the next morning to finish the job and INSISTED on be paid $200 for the work that was done that day so I did. The next day they never showed up. I called numerous times. Finally someone texted me that they were sorry and would be there the next morning. Again, never showed up. This went on for multiple days. Finally on the 5th day I threatened to call the police and I miraculously received a phone call saying that they would there within an hour. They showed up late in the day with just enough daylight left to clean up the mess they had left. Claimed they would be back the next morning to finish the other two trees that was included in the contract. NEVER SHOWED AT ALL!!!! Now I have to have someone else finish the job. I had a strange feeling so I googled the guys name and it turns out he went to prison for scamming customers exactly how he scammed me. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! You will be robbed one way or another.

+ -1 moreWARNING- DO NOT USE HOLLINGERS' TREE SERVICE! Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience with Hollingers' Tree Service and got ripped off by them. One of their employees had completed some yard work, but did not finish the entire job. He claimed that he had to leave, insisted that we pay him, and he promised to return the next day. The biggest mistake was that I didn't get a receipt from him. Since he did not return the next day, I made multiple phone calls in order to get someone to come out and remove the tree stump. NO ONE EVER RETURNED MY CALL and I now have to hire another company to come out to remove this tree stump.
Description of Work: I had used Hollingers' Tree Service two times; the first time, they came out to remove two dead trees. Since this first experience was okay, I asked them to come out for the 2nd time to clear some shrubs, remove some old firewood, and remove a large tree stump. I wish I never called them the 2nd time...as one of their workers took off with $900 cash without having finished the job.

Description of Work: Removed trees, cut out dead branches and also checked yard for possible problem trees/branches and advised. The owner and staff were professional and friendly but most important knowledgeable and efficient. And it was a 99 degree day. I tell friends about their service whenever I can.
