Description of Work: Rubino diagnosed the problem with old heat pump; explored possibility of repair (it wasn't); assisted in selection of new system; and installed both outdoor and indoor assemblies. Total cycle [point of failure through tricky diagnosis through completion of installation of new system] took three weeks and day. Sales rep was extremely helpful in providing information to help in the selection of a new unit and in expediting the process; and was also very responsive and accessible. Installation crew was professional and performed under very difficult temperature conditions (especially in the attic).

Description of Work: They performed annual service maintenance on our air conditioning system. Overall, the quality of work performed is outstanding. My only complaint with them is the scheduling of service. I have a maintenance plan which provides for a fall maintenance service for the heating system and a spring maintenance service for the air conditioning service. When I signed-up for the plan, I was told that a Bovio scheduler would call me in September to schedule the fall service and again in May to schedule the spring service. I have now had the service for two years, but no one has ever called me to schedule the service I have already paid-for. Instead, I have had to call them to schedule each time and I have to make time for their service. They need a system to track when customers are due service.

Description of Work: Bovio's initial Bovio's initially came out to perform emergency maintenance on my AC unit. My home warranty company recommended another company, but I went with Bovio's based on reviews from Angie's List and their ability to promptly come out and diagnose the problem. The technician was knowledgeable and friendly and did not try to upsell any products. In addition to repairing the AC, my spouse also requested a quote for installation of an electronic filter to be completed at a later time. Bovio's made an error on the install of the electronic filter, but Bovio's more than made up for the error by waiving labor cost and installing the electronic filter at a discount. Even with the discrepancy my overall experience was positive.
