Bovio Rubino Service

They are my contractor of choice. They are my top referrals for anybody. My whole family uses them. Now, my mother is having a whole system put in.

I called Rubino because of their rating.Their service charge just to come out was also less expensive ($89) than 3 others I called ($125.) This charge was completely separate from the actual service performed (which I can kind of understand.) Before they came, I looked online to see if I could fix the problem myself and I found what I thought it was (a flame sensor with some deposits on it.) He came out and confirmed exactly what I thought (and I am NOT handy at all.) Using a small, wired toothbrush, he literally brushed off the flame sensor, which is the size of a stylus, and charged $65 to do that. Seriously! Yes, they were very nice, professional and punctual, which is why I gave the good ratings in those areas, but ultimately the price of the item charge itself was ridiculously expensive for the service performed. He also tried to sell me on another item that you can buy and do yourself (again, I am not handy at all) and would charge me $160+ to replace. The thing that stinks in general is that places will give you an estimate charge to come out, but will only tell you the price of the service performed after they get there. By then, you may as well have them do it because you will have to spend more money on more estimates. It is hard to say if I will use them again because of this, so I put "no".

We called Rubino to schedule a service and they gave us a date and time. The service tech showed on time, told us what he was checking, what he found and what needed to be fixed. Our service tech was very professional and knowledgeable about heating systems and completed his work quickly, no mess, no fuss.

They responded quickly to our call for someone to come and check our hot water heater. The tech that came was clean, professional, courteous, very knowledgeable and helpful and quickly assessed the problem. Luckily it was a quick fix so he knew just what to do and took care of the issue. He provided us with great, helpful information on our hot water heater and what to do if the problem reoccurs.

Service had been suggested during spring tune up as an efficiency enhancement - improved air movement, less drag on motor,etc. Service was scheduled, technician arrived on time, completed the work promptly for the quoted price. I have used Rubino Service Company for many years and have always been pleased with their work. Their techs are professional and courteous. Rubino sets a date and time for their technician to arrive. They are always very punctual and perform their services well. Suggesting changes to the system to make it more efficent.We have a maintenace agreement with them and remain very happy with their services.

We did have some problems with the sub contractor. The owner of Rubino struggled hard to make it right. Ultimately it turned out right. It was frustrating to get it straightened out but she was excellent in her performance. Overall, their service is excellent in every way. I would not hesitate to recommend them or continue to use their services.

Company responded promptly to a complaint of no heat. Once it was determined that the furnace needed to be replaced, a salesperson came to the home within 2 hours. The furnace was ordered and replaced within two days of the initial call. The only reason that I had to wait was because this type of unit was not in stock and had to be ordered from Carrier. The installation went very well. Mike Conte, the technician/installer was most knowledgeable, courteous and professional. The installation was expertly executed. Mike returned in a couple of days to replace the outdated and faulty exhaust fan as well as installing a new thermostat. I was overall very satisfied with the entire process. I would not hesitate to recommend Rubino to anyone.
