Bovio Rubino Service

My husband called to schedule an appointment. It was scheduled and I purchased the coupon from Angie's List. I received a message saying thanks for the purchase and they would see me on my service date. They arrived on time, and also installed new filters for me. Very professional. We signed up for a bi-yearly service. We are very happy.

New Heater and Air. Also hot water heater in business property. Everything went well.

The service was done and during the assessment the technician took two air cleaners off the duct work system without letting me even make the decision. All he said was that the filters on your air cleaners are really dirty. We went down days later to get the size of the filters so that we could replace them and found them on the crawl space floor not even attached to the duct work. We immediately sent an email to the owner with a picture attached asking him what these two things where???? Honestly, we are really upset that this company made a decision and when questioned about this situation never offered to put air purifier system back. We also found the cover for the electronics on top of the water heater instead of covering the board. Found the small screw to secure cover on floor,( the other screw was on board already) that's how we knew how to secure cover.

Please note that cost of service includes the cost of the new faucet as well as installation/service! Our old faucet had plastic parts that were starting to wear out when Bovio made their first visit to us a couple of months ago. At that time they told us that they would not be able to fix it a second time. When we contacted them and explained the problem. The manager helped us select a faucet. The faucet was ordered and a date set for service when the part came in. The entire process took no more than 4-5 days, which was great considering that this is a busy time of year. John, our installer, was awesome! He went about his work in a timely manner and was very tidy. He helped explain the various features of the faucet (sensor system, etc.) and made sure we knew how to use them. We're happy to own a Moen faucet with metal parts and we're fortunate to have such a great plumbing service that we can trust!

We were told by previous heating contractor ( not from Angies list) it was a lost cause, it would cost $1500. to repair or $2700. for a new heater. Bovio chagred $237.00 for transformer and service call.They still have a part called a high limit switch to replace to complete the job and that everything else looks good . I now have heat, The other contractor told me the heater was shot, that beats $1500.00 for a repair.

Troy Marchetti and Matthew Torres arrives on time. Immediately started working. Carpets were covered. Work was done efficiently and with a smile. Both men were very polite. All trash was removed from premises when job was completed. New system was explained to me along with new thermostat. We are planning to stay with this company for a long time.

It was okay until we found out they put the wrong size filter in the unit when they were here. There was a coupon in the paper to get the cleaning done for $59. He came in and told us that we needed almost two pounds of refrigerant added, he charged me $90 to put that in. I had no way of knowing if they system needed that or not. He also marked that he charged us $5 for the filter. I was not overly impressed. We had another company come and out and service the heater, and it was brought to our attention that the filter was the wrong size.

He never followed up with an estimate for the work we wanted to do. I guess it wasn't a big enough job for him? Don't know.

Workers were courteous, and friendly. They cleaned up after work was completed. They put us into their schedule before other jobs since we had no ac and it was very hot. We had many estimates on the job but they offered us the best all around deal.

Worked with Mike and he was great. Very responsive and never made us feel like we asked too many questions or that he was in a rush. Didn't try to upsell us. The pricing was higher than other quotes we got, but the financing was by far the best we've ever seen. They were flexible with our needs to have paperwork signed after hours and the job was done efficiently and quickly. The only negative I would say would be that one of the technicians gouged about a 3" hole the wall in our closet (attic access) but it can easily be covered with spackle and they left everything else clean. Also we were not told in advance that we needed to replace the door to our laundry room, but when it came up the guys were nice enough to pick up and install a door for us at cost - very impressive! We would recommend Rubino Service Company!

Wonderful experience, just as expected and described, no problems since installation, very knowledgeable company, family owned, would not hesitate to use them again. I wish I could have afforded the additional service recommended at the time to install new insulation in the attic. (Note: this installation was part of a government rebate awarded for the switch from oil to gas which paid for part of the cost with the balance being paid with a no interest loan. I do not believe the same plan is in place at this time or if it is, is not available in the same form. My recollection is that the rebate plan changed soon after my installation took place).

After sealing & insulating the attic, my 17-year old a/c unit worked GREAT! It could be 90 degrees outside, and I could have the inside temp at 75 or lower. I will eventually need a new a/c unit, but I'm glad I took the advice to "insulate" the attic. FYI, my home is a one story.

Great. Could not have asked for more from a contractor. After experiencing difficulties with another contractor in the area with the water heater Rubino Service Company came in the picture, completed that hook up to natural gas and gave me excellent service. Then they completed my whole conversion project and I was able to get what I feel is great HVAC equipment installed through Rubino Service Company.

We had a great experience. Our heater broke right when we were experiencing unusally low temps outside and we had 3 small children in the house. We had to make very costly decisions in a very small amount of time and were very fortunate that Ron Bovio was so helpful. He explained every necessary detail to us and also educated us on subsidies we could apply for from the State to help us with the cost of our new system. The turnaround time was impressive - Bovio had us up and running with heat in no time.

Fast, efficient and professional

It went very well. Tech explained everything and was very professional.

They check the evaporator, condenser and oil all motors. Check refrigerant levels inspect drain. Check all electrical connections change filter and calibrate thermostat.

Bovio technician worked diligently and tried several different methods to unclog my badly clogged drain. On his last attempt, he was able to move the clog and restore the flow of water. He was pleasant and hard working throughout the process, and always kept me informed about his progress.

They showed up on time and went straight to work. They performed maintenance on the heating system and change the filter. I also requested a quote for a new system because the system is very old and they provided one for free. They found a serious issue with the heating system and gave me a few recommendations.

we were very pleased with the work and price. we have an old Victorian home and had some trouble finding someone comfortable with running new wiring and the other things we wanted done. The company had to research and order parts in order to hang old light fixture and returned to complete job. The serviceman we dealt with was very good and a pleasure to do business with. based on our experience with the company, we also going to get an estimate on replacing heating system.

Bovio was great. We had electric baseboard heat and wanted to conver to gas before our child was due. They helped us get all the rebates available to us and helped us get the financing through the gas co. They were professional and on time. They answered all our questions and we could not have been happier. Our bundle of joy came two weeks early and they worked dilligently to finish before we got home from the hospital. It was a great experience.

The evaluation was very thorough and professional. Cost was prohibitive.
