Bovio Rubino Service

The service was excellent. They arrived promptly and very pleasant. They serviced and cleaned both of our HVAC units and took time to answer my questions. I was very please with their work and will be sure to use them again.

I had them come out to give me an estimate and that was it. I was not even pleased with their customer service from the gentleman who came out because he wasn’t exceptionally friendly. He also kept trying to convince me to go with their financing program, when I told him more than once that I was only going to be paying cash only. I ended up going with another provider. They never did any work in my home when they stated that they did do work.

So far, it's been a good experience. There were no issues with scheduling, and they're been very professional any time they've been out. I'd recommend them!

It was a good experience. When we called to have them out, they came out very quickly. My wife was at home at the time.

I never heard from them after my purchase to schedule. Some type of communication from them would have been nice.

I have duct-work that's in the middle of my basement that I wanted moved, he couldn't do it but he was suppose to get back with me about replacing my AC and Heating unit but he never got back with me.

Installation was done efficiently and on time, with a minimum of mess despite the less than perfect weather and tight space available in my home for the new furnace and air conditioner. All involved were very helpful and thorough in explaining what was done and why they did it, as well as explaining how to use the new equipment. Based on my past experience with this company, I feel confident that I can count on them to assist me if I ever run into any problems or need any further assistance with my new system.

All service people, from sales to installers were very polite, did excellent work and answered all my questions. They went above and beyond my expectations in all aspects. I have a fantastic energy efficient system now.

Mr. Bovio called me and apologized for the poor response time. He was very professional and sincerely sorry for the miscommunication. The part came in and they installed it in record time. I am very satisfied with the resolution to this problem. I would definitely use Bovio Heating and Plumbing again in the future. I have used them in the past with very good results.

This is a reputable, professional, and reliable Company with competitive pricing. I will call them for all my heating and plumbing needs from now on. Bob Quaile did my furnace tune up; he did an excellent Job and went above the call of duty by doing that extra thing he didn't have to. A stand up and quality guy. Mike put the cartridge in my shower control. A perfect Job the first time. Personable and friendly, another quality technician and person. I had a question about the temp control function, and who comes to my house the very next day to explain and be sure I am satisfied with everything?..."Jim,who is a Manger at Bovio" !!! All I can say is this is as good as it gets. As far as I'm concerned Bovio will get my busness when ever possible. I recommend them highly.

I'm not sure how he did it but he fixed it so the pilot stayed lit. He also did a review of the system and said everything looked to be in good shape, which was a relief because the system is old. He left a detailed receipt showing exactly what he did, including: cleaned the burner tube, the inside of exchanger, the pilot burner and the flame sensor. Cleaned out the insides of both the top and bottom sections of the cabinet. Adjusted gas valve and burner tube air intake. Cycled heat to ensure proper working order. The whole visit took about an hour.

I would give the contractor a 95 rating. I had several estimates/proposals and they rose to the top. I was pleased with my selection and outcome.

The purchase through Angie's List was simple and I was contacted by email the next day. I set up the appointment through a series of 3-4 emails. I was given an 8am-12pm window for the technician to show up. I planned to take a few hours off from work and go in once the inspection was completed. It was approximately 11:55am and I had not heard from the company so I called. The receptionist told me that the technician had called into the office around 11:30am and told them he was 30 minutes away. I still don't understand why it wouldn't be company practice to call a customer and inform them of that. Additionally, the person I spoke with didn't offer any type of apology for the inconvenience. I know it wasn't her fault but it would've been a nice gesture. As it turned out, the tech arrived after 12pm by a few minutes. He was nice and went right work but never mentioned arriving after the time window. He cleaned the central air unit outside and ran the unit to do the inspection. He showed me how dirty the air filter was and recommended a new one. (I should have read the deal closer and mentioned how the price included a filter replacement so the fault can be 50/50 there). During the time he was working, the technician repeatedly walked in the front door without a knock or doorbell ring to announce himself. When I have had other work done at my house, they have always asked or just quickly knocked as they opened the door out of respect. I have a dog that is very uncomfortable with strangers and would bolt out the door if given the option. Each time he walked in the dog had a fit and as I wasn't expecting him to do it, I was usually out of the room. I had already had my limit with the experience so this description may seem petty but combined with everything else, it wasn't the most professional in my book. I haven't had any issue with my air conditioner this summer so I can assume his inspection was accurate. I won't use the company again because even though there was nothing major, the small customer service touches are important to me. I'm sure I can find another company that will be a bit more attentive.

While they were changing the filter they passed by my heating unit and saw work that had been done (by another company) poorly. They took pictures and emailed them to me, so that I could take it up with my home warranty. They went above and beyond and won't be using anyone else for my heating and A/C services in the future.

Came out quickly on a Saturday to repair leaking kitchen faucet. Really appreciated the quick response and fix!

He got the job done very quickly. He’s a very nice man, arrived on time, very personable and did everything I asked. I was very pleased with the service.

The service went very well. I ended up having to have a very large part replaced. One technician came out for the service and completed the job in about a day. It took about a week to get the part, however. The technician, Bob Quail, did a great job. I had no problem scheduling the deal. The only thing I did not like was that they gave me a large window time frame of when they would be here between 10-2 which is difficult during a work day.

I used Bovio twice Last winter for my heater that was shutting down. Their service was great and the serviceman was honest and trustworthy. When I wanted my AC checked I used them again, and the second call seemed equally fair, and reasonable. The service people are knowledgable and helpful. I never felt I was pressured to buy unneeded services, or taken advantage of as a single female homeowner. I will use them again should I have any further HVAC needs. Highly recommend.

Tech came on time. I watched his inspection of the system. He pointed out the faulty component. He replaced it. He left.

We purchased this spring and summer deal for $80 on Angie's List. The spring service was performed with no problems at all. More to come after the fall service. Great job Bovio"s!

Our technician, Mr Rawls was arrived at the very beginning of the estimated arrival times which was awesome. He listened and then identified the issues we were having and then immediately began rectifying them. This is the second time we have used Bovio, and in both instances we were very satisfied with the professionalism, service and the cost.

I paid to have Bovio come out for seasonal maintenance on the heating/cooling system. The appointment was scheduled and my tenant was there waiting for them. They didn't show up and didn't call to tell me they were not coming. I saw an email via Angie's list months after the fact saying that they didn't show up for the appointment because it was out of their calling area. My property is in the same county as their business address so I'm not sure why suddenly it was an issue. They didn't offer a refund. I had to contact Angie's list directly to get the refund which I am still waiting for. UPDATE: Bovio's general manager contacted me directly after my initial rating to figure out what the problem was and how it could be rectified. I truly appreciated the email and we figured out what the issue was - a simple misunderstanding because of multiple addresses and it wasn't clear that I was the landlord and the service request was for a rental property. Because that isn't clear on Angie's list, I will call to confirm any appointments I make for my properties going forward.

These guys are great. They scheduled me quickly and were in and out in no time. My AC runs great. I plan to continue to use their services.

First off, I called late in the evening 830 /9pm and someone actually answered. The Technician, was very professional, informative and on time when they arrived a 8am the next morning. they trouble shot, and repaired everything in about an 1 or so...Knock on wood the A/C is working great and the house is cooling down now.

Our AC broke down and it's only 4 years old. Bovio was clear on pricing and timing from the get-go. We paid up to have the tech come out after 4 pm. Their technicians were wonderful. Our first technician diagnosed the problem as a broken condenser. We were shocked because we purchased a top of the line Bryant central air conditioner in June 2010. Bovio determined that the unit was still under warranty, contacted the Bryant, got us the new part and installed it promptly. Each service call with labor included --they took apart the system, then put it back together, tested the air flow and temperature differential-- was about $150 (so 2 service calls cost us $300 which I felt was very reasonable given what they did). It's working great now! thanks Bovio, I highly recommend this firm!
