Well first off they where a hour late and told me that they did not have time to finish the job that day. So after working a hour at the house they told me that they would have to come back to finish the job.. they told me it would be within that week (May 13-May17th). Well they never came back so I call on Monday May 20th. And the man that answered the phone had no idea about the job.. so he told be that they would be back before Friday 24th to finish the job... Well I called today and the same man told me that it would not be this week.. maybe next week! I complained and he told me if I did not like it " Go somewhere else!!!".
Description of Work: Was to open and check A/C system for the season.

Contacted them and the only response I continued getting was "pick another day". Thought customer was always right. They don't seem to need the business...
Description of Work: This company was due to service my furnace two weeks ago, stayed home waiting for the appointment. They called to tell me that Their service person was tied up on another job and they were canceling. I accepted this explanation and the earliest they said they would be able to come again was in a week and half. Appointment made. A week and a half later they showed up on time, but called me from the curb and wouldn't do the job because I had my driveway paved the previous day and the service person would not walk up my front lawn ("said he wouldn't carry his equipment up") and he contacted his office. Called me back with "they said they are willing to reschedule this appointment" "Willing?!" They canceled the first, to my inconvenience...showed up for the second, but wouldn't come in the front door...These people were either old or infirmed. I have had them for 30 years, had them install new furnace and gone along with all their estimates. They are aware I am a widow and need a little consideration. Their billing statements are also a nightmare to understand. THAT has been going on for years.

My furnace stopped working over Thanksgiving weekend. A family friend knew someone at Lawes and asked them to set up an appointment. The guys who came to my house were great, but overall, the furnace didn't get fixed and I was left with a bill for around $180. They had diagnosed the problem as a cracked heat exchanger, and said the furnace was beyond repair. I half-expected it. They said if I bought a new furnace from them, they'd put the $180 toward a new furnace. I already had an estimate in hand from another company, but I asked them to come out and do one anyway. After that point, it got kind of silly. I asked for an estimate on a new A/C, furnace, and hot water heater. They sent me an estimate for just the furnace, and said the A/C and hot water heater estimate would follow. Two days later, not hearing back, I asked them for the final estimate. The response was that the guy who did the estimate took a couple days off, and that it would come after the weekend. Keep in mind that this is in December and my furnace was broken. It was getting cold in the house, and space heaters couldn't keep up. The holidays were coming and I didn't exactly have time to spare. A full week after sending the furnace estimate, they sent the estimate for the A/C and H/W heater, but not for the grand total. I guess they didn't want the A/C and H/W job, because the price was pretty outrageous. Every second opinion I got said that this last estimate was insanely high. The worst part of it though ? I couldn't get a straight answer for the total price out of these guys. It took **7** emails between us to nail down the final cost. Finally, they started in with demanding payment for the original service, $180. It was endless ? every few days it was "when can we expect payment?" Honestly, I don't believe they ever wanted to do the A/C or H/W heater, and were incredibly unprofessional about it. I believe they left it out of the first estimate intentionally, grouped the two items and jacked up the price on the second estimate intentionally, and then demanded payment for $180 relentlessly to increase the pressure to buy the furnace. I also believe they dragged out the final estimate up until the holidays to try and get me to pull the trigger. That's just me speculating, but the evidence lines up. I'd never recommend them, and I ended up going with another company in the area.

They come out and fill the oil and leave us a note saying that they did it. We don't come to know when they are coming over. They are good and I like them. We have had no issues with them so far.
