Hilton Short Hills

They're great. They're excellent, absolutely excellent. I've been going there for several years now. They have a room service that ends at 11 PM, which not every hotel does. Coming in from the east coast to the west coast, with the delays, I get there after midnight. So I call them in advance, a couple of days, and say, "Could you please have a nice salad in my room and some hot tea and some rolls?" When I got there at about 2 AM, last Wednesday, it was a welcome sight. I was really late because there were so many delays. I had to fly into JFK, in New York and then the limo took me to Jersey. They bend over backwards in that hotel to be sure that everything is perfect for you. I can't say enough about the staff, dining people. The nice thing about it is, you can check in at home, for your room. It's like on the airlines, you check in at home. Well, the same thing with Hilton, you can check in at home. So by the time you get there, you're all checked in, what you do is, pick up your room key. Across from the hotel, is the big mall in Short Hills, called the Short Hills small. They have a limo service, which you can take. They drive you across the street, drop you off and then you call them when you're ready, it's free of charge. Just give the man a tip, that's all. JFK Pkwy is too busy to cross, so you want to get there a safer way. They're top of the line, they can't do enough for you. The people that answer the phones to place your order for breakfast are marvelous as well as the people that bring it to your room and the housekeeping staff. It's just so so wonderful.
