Taurean Sprinklers

Two visits were required as there was a big leak in the PVC that had to be fixed prior to me turning on the water for the opening. Parts were replaced during the first visit (water off) at a cost of almost $200 without my consultation. They had my phone numbers but did not call to inform me of the additional cost. The water was not turned on at the time so I question how they knew the part needed replacing. I was never shown the original part but was told "our techs know what they are doing and wouldn't have replaced anything unless it was needed" and "the issue definitely didn't have anything to do with the way the system was closed in the fall". I was going to ask to have my system extended in the spring but now am very hesitant to do business with this company. Especially since I was told if I didn't pay the bill, the owner (Steve Zimmer) would definitely take me to small claims court. I feel like I paid a visit to a shady mechanic where they show you a dirty air filter supposed to be yours, and recommending replacement. And now I was threatened with court?!??!?!

Great! Ryan was very helpful and provided the best customer service. He helped to find a smart controller (rainmachine) and coordinate a water treatment company to install an iron removal system. After the install, he came back to help me tweak things and explained in detail how everything worked.

Excavated area, pumped out some water, installed a new fitting and energized the system to confirm no leaks. Filled the hole and replaced the grass and cleaned up. Everything was done in a timely manner.

This is one of the best companies I have ever dealt with. Customer service is excellent. They were always in touch with me. They called when they said they would. They answered all my calls. The estimate on the job was a work of art. A complete drawing of the layout on my property showing me where all the water lines and heads would be located. And the work performed was exactly as it was on the drawing. When they got here I asked the supervisor, Ron, (a great guy to work with, by the way) if he could add a couple of heads in a back area that wasn't covered on the drawing. He said: "No problem." and there was no additional charge. The crew was hard working, respectful. They left my property clean and given the extent of the digging that had to done on both the three large lawn areas and the garden area, you would hardly know they had been there. It's been a month since the work was performed. Everything is growing back nicely and the system is working perfectly. We did a lot of research on this project, and Taurean used top of the line, state of the art heads, sprinklers and timers on the job. Given the quality of the work and the price of the job, if you're planning to put in an irrigation system, these are the guys to call.
