There was a leaking drain in our bathroom that was causing water to run down through the diningroom ceiling whenever the toilet was flushed, the tub/shower was used, or the sink was used. This happened New Year's Eve (of course!), and I called around the next day. Jeff came out Wednesday morning and said that he could not perform the repair from the dining room ceiling, and that he would need to access it through the bathroom floor. I called a second contractor to handle cutting up the bathroom floor, and Jeff said to let him know when it was done so he could set another appointment. After he left, my husband decided to poke around the floor on his own, and discovered that an access panel had been made in the floor, but had been painted / tiled over. He freed the panel, and Jeff came back the next morning to repair the leaking pipe. Unfortunately, the access panel was not quite large enough for him to get to the exact part of the pipe that was leaking, so he had to cut an additional chunk out of the floor to get to it. While we have been planning to re-do the bathroom (which hasn't been touched since it was first installed back in the day when indoor plumbing was the new thing in town), it wasn't on the top of our list. It is now a must-do since the floor is no longer going to handle any splashes or spills without it seeping into the dining room ceiling. Again, this is not Jeff's fault, but an unfortunate side-effect of the leak's location. He tested the repair before leaving, and we then patched the floor as best we could ourselves. At least we're back in business as far as using the bathroom is concerned! (Now I suppose I should start searching Angie's List for a contractor to re-do the bathroom.) Oh, and the quote was for $185, but taxes pushed it up to the listed amount of nearly $200. If you're on a tight budget, remember that the final price might include taxes.

Returned phone call on time did a great job and had good interpersonal skills was honest did the job right away I would call for any other problems

Wanted to replace bad/old toilet. Placed a call on Sunday. He answered the phone. Said it would take a couple of days to get the model we wanted. Gave us a price over the phone. Called back with confirmation of installation date. Was there on date promised.

Jeff responded to my request for an estimate and availability within 24 hours....on a weekend.He showed up on the scheduled day and was professional. He completed the work in a timely manner and was extremely neat. I would call him again.

The guy I spoke with seemed nice, but he wasn't very unprofessional. He came out to look at the leak in my bathroom, but he never provided me with an estimate! I called them several times as I didn't want to rely on just 2 estimates (which were drastically different). He finally called me back today (two and a half weeks later), and said that he was too slammed with work. It may have been a really busy time for them, but that's no reason to not call a customer back. They may be great if they are not busy, but if they have jobs going on, beware. The quality of service may be impacted.

I called this plumber to do the work in the shower, and asked him about the other repairs when he arrived. He was willing to do all the work for me. I wasn't aware of the leak under the kitchen sink until he pointed it out; it had been leaking for awhile. The only small issues was that he left some fingerprints on the wall around the shower. He forgot his receipt tablet, so took the time to write out a receipt, and mailed the "official" receipt a few days later. The receipt was not itemized. The price seemed a little high, but was very pleased with the quality of his work.

Jeff came over to provide an estimate and was able to come back three weeks later after I accepted the offer (this was a full-day job). He is very professional and was dedicated to get the job done. Very positive attitude given the crawlspace he had to work in and despite a few snags along the way. Explains everything in a straightforward manner and gives a comfortable feeling that the job will be done well. His price is also very reasonable. Overall a positive experience and I would definitely go with Paradise Plumbing for any future work.

Overall, the work went well. When Jeff encountered a surprise with the old fittings, he went off to the local store to pick up what he needed and was back within 15 minutes. He did this work on one of the hottest days of the year, easily over 96 degrees outside and he worked from around 11 to 2:30 in the afternoon. This was pretty grueling work but he stayed positive, got the job done, and left with a smile on his face. This is my second experience with Jeff of Paradise Plumbing and I can't recommend him highly enough. He's a master plumber and a gentleman. He is flexible in his scheduling and eager to provide whatever expert services are needed for his clients.

Jeff was very professional and very courteous. I received a call back from him on the same day I requested the service. He was able to come out the next day. He easily diagnosed my faucet as causing a leak under the kitchen sink. He had some extra time and offered to go purchase a replacement faucet and install it all in the same visit. As a mother with two young children, I was very appreciative. His price was reasonable. He also cleaned up the area probably better than when he found it. I would recommend him to anyone.

Having found his name on Angie's List, I contacted Jeff from Paradise Plumbing. I had him come to our home and give us an estimate for replacement of the old gas hot water heater. He gave me a quote and I told him that I would be in touch after checking with other contractors. I think the reason we chose to go with Jeff was a combination of things - his Angie's list rating, his qualifications, and ultimately his very friendly, no-nonsense demeanor. Most prices were in the same range, so it was a question of picking the best individual for the job - and that was Jeff. Jeff was easy to reach at all times and we set up a date for the hot water heater to be replaced. He arrived on time and did what needed to be done. The job was completed in a reasonable time frame. After he had completely cleaned up, we took a final look at the job and he noticed an adjacent pipe that had a tiny bit of water on it. He said "oh, I have to fix that" and set about bringing his equipment back in, completely replaced a T joint and the 3 adjoining pipes, and was done in less than an hour. He never mentioned any additional cost for that. Jeff provided us with a quality Bradford-White gas hot water heater, completed the job thoroughly and professionally, and was an absolute gentleman both over the phone and in person. He was careful to clean up after himself while in our home and offered some free advice on some other possible future jobs that I inquired about. I would absolutely recommend Paradise Plumbing to others.

Our old garbage disposal started to leak, and we called Paradise Plumbing for an estimate. They responded in a timely manner with an estimate based on our assessment that the disposal needed to be replaced. The plumber showed up on the date and near the time specified, with a new disposal. Ours was indeed not repairable, and he replaced it. He took care to cover the floor and test thoroughly when the job was completed. He was personable and looked over another small job that we are considering so that he can provide an estimate on the work. We are happy with the responsiveness, promptness, professionalism and price.

Is it wrong to love your plumber?! After a great experience with Jeff the previous year, we made only one call when water wouldn't flow from our exterior spigot. Jeff got back to us very promptly to discuss the problem and even started his day extra early to help us with scheduling conflicts. He arrived 15 minutes early and completed the work efficiently and quickly. The price for his services is extremely reasonable and both he and his wife are so pleasant to work with. We are very blessed to have found such an outstanding plumber!

I received a call back immediately to discuss the work needed and set up a date and time to repair the pipe. He came out within 2 days and was immediately able to give me a price on the repair. He fixed it in about an hour so I thought the cosy was reasonable for the repair and part. He was very friendly and appeared very knowledgable. Thus far we have not had any further problems with the pipe.
