Project went well, if beyond schedule. Painter (and assistant) had another job beginning in 5 days, and had hoped to complete our project on time (over Labor Day weekend). They completed about 85% of the project in those first days, and then came back in the evenings in the later week to finish up. Ultimately they did a bit more than they had been contracted to do, and did a great job.

I was really pleased with the job done by Painting Power and would gladly hire them again for other projects. They promptly returned my emails, and arrived on time and kept their working area very clean. Matt was very easy to work with and his quoted price was the best of the other contractors. I am glad my husband found him, and we both would gladly recommend him to anyone in need of his services.

Matt and his crew deserve all the accolades they get. From the quote process through final inspection, Matt was the most personable contractor we have ever dealt with. He understood what we were looking for. He painted the interior and exterior shutters of our house in 2 weeks. His price was by far the best of the 7 quotes we got. His crew was on time every day, and didn?t leave until they finished what they planned for that day, including clean up. While on the job, he frequently checked with us to ensure we were satisfied with the work. He did a great job prepping, spackling, and priming. There?s no reason for us to call another painter and will highly recommend Matt for interior/exterior paint job.

Matt and his crew are top notch. I had them come to do our apartment in Center City. They were supposed to arrive at 8:30 and literally on the stroke of the half hour they arrived. They were professional, quick, and thorough. None of this "paint around the outlet" nonsense. They took care to remove obstacles, to ensure a premium paint job at the right price. I would definitely call them again without searching any further.

I would rate Matt K. and Painting Power A+ if it were possible. If he is available for your job, don't even bother getting a quote from someone else, just book him. Matt executed the job flawlessly, on budget, on time, with no shortcuts, and left a spotless work site afterwards. In any job, there are always surprises that come up and Matt did not take advantage of any of these opportunities to add charges and grow the budget even though I know there were many chances to do so. You know you are dealing with an honest businessman when you work with Matt. I appreciated having just one person to contact over the course of the two week project from first call to initial meeting for the free estimate to seeing the project through to completion. Matt was always reachable and very prompt in his responses, which was especially important to me because I was not able to see his work until the entire project was completed. Matt is the only painter I will hire as long as he is in this business.

They did a fabulous job removing my popcorn ceilings, wall paper and painting my interior and exterior. The were very professionally, did a great job on cleaning up and the rooms looks beautiful. Matt is very clinical in his approach to painting. He showed up on time for the estimate and gave us a very reasonable price. Work starts with moving all of the furniture to the center of the room and is covered with plastic sheets. The flooring is protected with drop cloths. At the end of the day everything is restored to its appropriate place. He takes his time to clean-up and the end-product is a beautiful well painted room with attention to detail. Matt goes above and beyond a regular painter, he does whatever it takes to make the paint job look 100%. He offers a lot of suggestions and ideas around paint choice and interior design. Matt will not overlook a problem area. On the contrary he brought to our attention several areas that need additional repair/fixing. Surprisingly, he did not charge us extra for any of that work. Upon his return this past week (10/21), he inspected his work from 2010 and did a lot of touchup (nail pops, stains, scratches) work at no extra cost. He even painted our garage doors, for only the cost of paint. Give them a try, you will be quite pleased with the outcome.
