Meinharts Tree Service

It did not go well they for one ting went into our shed without permission and borrowed our ladder then went under our deck and took another ladder. Then when they were done they did not put them back they just left the in the yard. Our tree fell also on our neighbors yard they took all of the tree limbs and cleaned their yard. However our yard was a different story. they did not clean up they took part of our fence apart and did not put it back properly so it is broken. They were also given water bottles because of the work and the heat so when they left they threw the water bottles in the yard also with soda bottles that they had. The yard was cleaned up by my granddaughter this is her yard I am talking about. She had on big mess to clean up. I called the company and they never called back or came back to the house nothing. But they want their money. I have pictures of what the yard looked like and would be happy to share with you or anyone else who would like to see how they do their job. If nothing else at this point a discount should be given they did not complete the work and like I said then they never responded to my call. Oh when I called I did speak with a young lady who was typing all the information but again no call back and it has been a week now... So do I recommend them NO WAY!!

When I spoke to the person at Meinhart’s, she was very nice and professional. They are rarely in the office and I spoke with their answering service more than them. The person who was supposed to come for my free estimate did not arrive during the time frame they told me they would be at my house and did not call to say they’d be late. The second time they were scheduled to come for an estimate they again did not show up and never called to say they were running late or to reschedule.

Disconnect between sales and service. Damage to driveway.

They are good, very nice and I was very pleased with the work.

Very well. They originally thought the job would take 2 days, but the crew stayed later into the evening to get the job done in 1 day. And it was very very hot.

The appt was supposed to be between 3 &4 ----the estimator showed up at 5. When he got there the first thing he said was that it was a "small job" and there was no way they would get to me for at least 2 weeks or more. He also said that he would not do my stump work and gave me the number of someone else to call. He did not walk the yard to look at other trees that might have been damaged but seemed in a hurry to get off of my property. I tried to call to schedule the work after he left and to ask to have someone else come our to finish evaluating my years but got no answer---I left two messages and then called twice on Friday and left messages and once on Saturday. To date no one has returned my phone call.

to my husband and I we found them to be the best professional tree service, they worked efficiently, and cleaned out yard perfect. I would definatly use them again

I was very impressed with this company and would definitely recommend them to others/use them again myself. Joel, who gave us our estimate, was professional and courteous and gave me a very fair price for the work done. I think I may have annoyed Janet with all my phone calls regarding their insurance but she was cooperative and got me this crucial information. I was happy to confirm that all of their insurance policies were active and up to date at the time of our job. The day of the job the crew arrived early morning. The only thing I would critique is that they did not knock to let me know they had arrived. Not a huge deal but I was glad I heard them and got to speak with them before they began. These guys were EXTREMELY hard workers and really knew what they were doing. They were careful and meticulous. All of our trees were located pretty close to our house and we did not have any issues. They were here for about 7 hours and, other than a quick lunch break, did not stop working. I love that this business is family owned and operated as well. Thanks Meinhart's for a job very well done!

The crew arrived on time, but they couldn't finish the job due to rain. They came back to finish and to trim the large magnolia. We then asked them to remove the holly bush in the back yard. They had to make a third trip for that. They trimmed a few small shrubs for us free of charge. Joel was excellent as well as the whole crew. We had two other estimates, but they were much higher. I would not hesitate to hire them in the future.

Everything went great. The crew did an excellent job. They were careful, polite and did a very good job with clean-up after the work was performed. They also performed a little extra work by cutting some branches that were not part of the original estimate when they were in the vicinity. Since it was getting dark as they finished the job Justin Meinhart (owner) called me the following day after I had a chance to look at all the work in the daylight to confirm the work was performed to my satisfaction. The cost was lower than that estimated by another tree service by approx 30%.

Called for an appointment, was given a one hour window on a Saturday, waited around no one. Then, foolish me, I tried to re-schedule, got another appointment for a Saturday, waited some more, no one!

They had everything down in just a few hours -- they were amazing to watch. No damage to the house, everything was cleaned up nicely. Slight delay in getting stumps grinded due to their machine breaking down and then hurricane Sandy getting in the way.
