Very professional and extremely neat and organized when working in my home! I work in commercial buildings and my pet peeve is for my workers to clean up after themselves and keep their area neat and clean. I also love the communication and the craftmanship! Wonderful. Efficient

John Lomonaco and his team were excellent to work with. John has a great design sense and is very customer-focused. John designed and executed the stairs and railing renovation, as well as a matching renovation of over 100ft of railing around our great room. We couldn't be more pleased with the results. The work was done in a timely fashion according to the agreed-upon price and schedule.

The whole experience was not a smooth one. We put down the deposit and was told work would be begin within in 6-8 weeks. Work did not begin till 16 weeks after the deposit. The owner was difficult in getting a hold of to get any kind of update or information. It seemed I was getting more excuses than anything else. I finally was informed that the main carpenter was having health issues and once I started communicating with the carpenter everything was fine because he kept me updated. The carpenter came in and removed and installed the railing and did an excellent job, which at that point I was feeling better about the money I had spent. The next phase was the stain and paint, that is where the next snag happened. I was not home the first day to keep an eye on the progress but when the owner was done, the stain finish was rough to the touch and had places where the wood did not accept the stain. When I addressed my concerns with the owner, plus I had feedback from other painters that I had in to paint the walls, it seemed the wood was not properly prepared for the stain, which mean being sanded and primed. The owner was than quite offended when I stated this. I requested that he send his painter to complete the job and the painter corrected the issue the best he could. I know this is based on opinions so I am trying to be as fair as I can be about my experience. I look at the railings and realize that my stairwell is now safe but just frustrated with the finish result and the money I spent.
