Each time I need a tree removed, I used to around and get multiple estimates but always end up with Haines. They are priced fairly, the owner is very nice, knowledgeable, and has never not tried to and convince me to remove trees that didn't need to be removed. In fact, one huge tree looked like it was dying, I called him to have it removed and he said he'd remove it if I wanted to but it was quite healthy still and not in any danger of falling. He responded very quickly to remove a HUGE pine tree after Hurricane Sandy. Work was completed efficiently and he always sticks to his estimated price. I no longer call around because Haines is the best place to turn to.

I was very satisfied with their work. They're very reliable, very professional, kept to the calendar very well and no pressure. They are very dependable and did a good work.

They are phenomenal. I kept adding things to my lawn and they kept coming back. There was no hesitation, they just got it done. The team was phenomenal that came. They were a little expensive. There was no damage to the turf, there was debris left, and it was cleaned up perfectly.

My experience with this contractor was great. The crew arrived promptly at 9am, including the owner. We briefly discussed the project, and the crew got right to work digging up the old gravel driveway....by hand! No digging machines could fit through the gate to the backyard. The crew was very professional and hard-working. All of my existing plantings were not bothered (although the topsoil and mulch was spread a little high on my tree/shrub trunks, I had to brush away the excess afterwards). They even took the time to lay down the sod so that I had nice grass 'stripes' in my new yard, like when you mow it - of course they've grown out now, but it was a nice touch. I was especially pleased when the crew spread the extra mulch (must have been a couple yards worth) on all of my other garden beds instead of just hauling it way. Seems obvious that they should do that, seeing as though I had paid for mulch, but honestly, I didn't know how much they brought, so if they had taken the extra away, I wouldn't have given it a second thought. No deposit was required, and I was instructed to send payment when I was satisfied with the job. I highly recommed this contractor for your landscaping needs. The owner also recommended an arborist for some tree work I needed done in a few months.
