Mike came in to give us the estimate and explain what they would do. the crew arrived on time and started repairing the foundation in the basement first. Then worked on the outside which required extra work which was done at no additional charge. The guys worked all day without taking lunch. We were very happy with the work that was done.

We had to replace a 30 year old French drain, previously installed by another company, that was clogged and not draining. Mike advised that a new installation needed to be done with upgraded PVC piping and that the piping needed to be extended to a front trap to avoid flooding in that area. He was right. Some of the old piping was totally clogged and inoperable. Since the basement was gutted due to Sandy flooding, it was best to do this now. We agreed on a price and start date. Mike and his crew took 2 1/2 days to complete the job, breaking up old concrete, cleaning up the trench, installing PVC pipes, gravel and pouring new cement. Throughout the job, they were always on time, polite, cleaned up after them and were the best crew I have had doing work here. They literally carried out buckets full of broken concrete and dirt to the truck for disposal throughout the job. Mike and his crew freely gave information on how the job was to be handled and what I could expect in addition to pointers on avoiding any future flooding by installing battery backups for pumps in case of power outages. I would definitely use this firm again for any waterproofing work.
