Description of Work: Frank's Painting was absolutely terrific. Frank himself came out several times to my home, and ensured everything was satisfactory. His painters Wilson and Harrald were detail oriented, always cleaned up after they finished and were a joy to be around (I have 3 children). I highly recommend Frank and his team. You'll not be disappointed.

Description of Work: I had all my exterior trim painted. This included 44 windows, 3 doors, 2 porches with columns,stairs,railing and balusters. Having done this work myself many years ago I knew exactly what was needed for an excellent prep job. The two workers did all I expected beautifully...scraping, sanding, spackling, sanding, priming and two cats of paint. My 108 year old porch columns now look like new! Neat work, daily clean up, happy workers.Frank was communicative, responsive and reliable. I actually enjoyed having the work done and am very happy with it. The job took 10 days as Frank estimated. I highly recommend Frank and his crew. BTW they also removed my old shutters and put up new ones as a favor. :-)

Description of Work: I left Frank a message a week ago and never heard back from him. I read a few reviews that stated similar experiences with him, so I was careful in leaving the message, repeating my name and number twice so there was no confusion. I know I called the right number, since it was his name on the voicemail. Thankfully, I was aware by previous reviews that this may happen so I contacted another painter on the same day. I will not give the name of that painter for risk of this review then seeming biased and not genuine. The other painter returned my call that day, was out for an estimate the next day, and today is the final day of a 3 day job. If you're too busy to take on new work, great... we should all be so lucky. But at least give someone the professional courtesy of a return phone call so they can make alternate plans.

Description of Work: Frank definitely knows what he's doing; he came over to give an estimate for patching/painting work needing doing in my rental apartment - 2 rooms of which had not been occupied for many decades. He responded with a very fair estimate considering the amount of work to be done, which he described and explained the necessity of, and which he obviously does well. He answered all my questions in detail, to my satisfaction, which I also appreciate. Unfortunately for me, it did not fit into my budget just now, but based on his knowledge and professionalism I would use him in the future.

Description of Work: Franks painting painted our basement. They prepped the area, painted the newly installed ceiling, walls, trim, and doors, and columns. Frank answered all my questions in a professional manner. The price was consistent with two other painting companies in the area. They completed the work in a timely manner. Frank was very responsive since the first phone call, and sent the quote in a timely manner, even around the holidays. Wilson and Frank both prepped and painted. Wilson was very friendly and listened to a great radio station while he worked. And did a great job of painting. They removed and replaced all brand new fixtures so as not to get any paint on them, per my request. They cleaned up after themselves after having to touch up the older hallway.

Description of Work: Fantastic overall job and I would highly recommend Frank to anyone. Responsiveness: During the entire process (scheduling, estimate, job), Frank would respond almost immediately. I tried calling multiple other painters, and I was lucky to get a return call from many of them for a job costing several thousand dollars. Price: Based on Angie's list reviews and responsiveness, I received two quotes, and Frank's price was extremely fair. Performance: Due to hurricane Sandy, we had to reschedule a number of contractors for our new house. Frank was very helpful accommodating this, showed up a day early (even offering to show up on a Sunday) to go over everything with us, them finished the job in an extremely efficient manner, without sacrificing quality at all. Intangibles: Frank's guys stayed late to finish and took care of many minor home repair projects to help us out.

Description of Work: Do not hesitate to call Frank's Painting. Both the owner and the men who worked in our homewere pleasant, professional, punctual and a joy to work with. They had to remove a LOT ofwallpaper and prepare the surfaces for paint. They took down drapes, blinds etc. and put them all back together again. Frank helped me pick out wall color and I am thrilled with the finished product. They did a fantastic job!! A + in our book.Would definitely hire them again.

Description of Work: Had the exterior walls around the base of my house painted. The walls were scrape, prepared, primed and painted as per the quote. Frank, the owner, was a pleasure to work with. I did all of the arrangements over the phone and only met Frank when he came to pick up payment. He and his workers showed up when they were supposed to and did the job they were contracted to do. The work was a professional job and everthing was cleaned up after they finished. The entire job took about 2 days. The cost was reasonable and included the paint and any other supplies used. Definitely pleased with the job. I have received an estimate from Frank to paint some interior rooms in my house this fall. You won't be disappointed.
