Looks great, but it was exterior.

First, Frank was VERY responsive. I submitted a request for a quote and before I logged off of my computer, he called my cellphone. I did have another vendor who quoted the job a bit cheaper but when Frank was able to get closer to the cheaper quote, I went with Frank because of his responsiveness and professionalism. I was so impressed. His additional questions and request for information such as paint quality, amount of rooms/wall space, made me feel like he really knew what he was doing. He was able to schedule the job within 48hours of our initial call - so he's was extremely flexible. At one point the owner wanted to cancel or postpone the paint project so I called Frank to put him on hold - and he was extremely understanding and laid back about it. When we got approval for the paint job - Frank was able to re-schedule it for the next day! The paint job was VERY good. He didn't make a mess. And left the place immaculate. He will definitely be doing other paint work for me and I highly recommend Frank!

Frank and his staff did a very good job for us. Frank always answers to our call for questions. They show up on time each day. They sanding, speckling before the paint job and clean up after work is done. They finished our work on time with a very reasonable price. Their professionalism and drive toward excellence are greatly appreciated. We are very happy with them.

Frank was very responsive and was able to work with us in a tight time frame. He and Wilson worked very hard to complete our house painting in a few short days. The painting came out beautifully. We are very pleased. Frank was also very helpful by making suggestions about the type of paint finish that we could use given that we have a toddler & need washable surfaces. From the initial quote to the last stroke - Frank was very communicative, trustworthy and low maintenance. Since we're new to the area, we'd like to think that in Frank we've found "our guy" for any future jobs.

Frank painted my 735 sq ft condo in Hoboken, and did a great job doing it. He was on time, did a quality job, and was very professional through the whole job. When he came back to walk through everything with me and saw an area that had bubbled, he came back and fixed it right away. Overall, he did a great job and it was a painless experience.

It didn't go well. There were some areas such as the moldings and radiators where the work was sub-par, they missed some spots, and they didn't do a proper cleanup. They broke a towel rod and attempted to hide it from me. I think that the difficulties arose from the fact that Frank, himself, wasn't here to supervise and perform the job. He spent very little time here during the course of the day.

We are incredibly happy with the work Frank and his colleague, Wilson, performed. The living room ceiling and walls had holes in them due to newly installed electrical equipment (i.e., lighting and a flat screen TV) and Frank and Wilson made the walls and ceiling look like new! In fact, when the electrician returned a few days later to complete work elsewhere in the house, he too was amazed at the fantastic job Frank did. He commented that he was extremely impressed how Frank patched the holes and repaired the ceiling. I was also happy with the work Frank and Wilson did in the bedrooms. These rooms had peeling paint on the walls and ceilings. Wilson carefully worked on the rooms, removed the peeling paint, spackled, and painted. The rooms are utterly transformed. Furthermore, Frank and Wilson are accommodating, punctual, and professional. Frank listened to my concerns about lead paint dust and took extra steps to make sure they would create as little dust as possible and would clean up meticulously. Frank and Wilson showed up on time and started and finished the job exactly when Frank said they would. Frank even called to follow up with me after the job to make sure I was happy with the results! Our walls and ceilings look fantastic. I will definitely call Frank again when we renovate other parts of our house and would highly recommend him and Wilson to family and friends.

Frank called back the day I left a message, January 19. Originally we only planned to repair the bedroom ceiling and paint the bedroom, front hall, sitting room, and kitchen ceiling. He started work on 1/24/11. As you see from the description of services above, we ended up contracting for much more work than originally planned. Frank told me he was committed to another job during the first week of February, which was fine with us. He promptly returned the following week and even had his worker stay through Sunday in order to finish the job. We are very pleased with the work. They always asked if everything was satisfactory. They moved the furniture and offered to return to help put carpets and furniture back in place. The only negative was the amount of dust generated from patching ceilings and walls. After they finished, it took quite some effort to get rid of the dust. I suggested to him to use a new dropcloth once the patching and sanding was completed. I felt much of the dust came from the dropcloths that were used when patching. Great job! I would recommend him highly. He is very professional, prompt, and personable.

Frank and crew did a very professional job. Paint job was excellent and at a reasonable cost. The walls look beautiful. All my wife and I had to do was choose the paint colors from Benjamin Moore and they took care of the rest. Lastly but also note worthy, we could trust Frank and his crew while we were away from the home. I would highly recommend.

This was my second time hiring frank's painting. And second time I am very satisfied with the results. Again, Frank was high responsive, flexible, provided guidance, and completed the project within the time defined. I would certainly recommend Frank's painting! I plan to work with him many times in the future.

I called Frank because another painter kept pushing back the job for over three weeks. In the meantime, I had furniture moved and window treatments removed. I am so happy that I called! Frank came over within a couple of days, gave me an estimate and started work within a week. I have a four story townhouse and Frank and his crew methodically plaster the walls where needed and painted room by room so our lives were not really interrupted. They were very neat. They worked everyday until the job was completed. When I called Frank during the job, I got him on the phone or he called me back within minutes, even late in the evenings when I called. Frank is very professional and his price is very fair and the quality of the work is excellent. My house never looked better. I would highly recommend Frank's Painting.

I needed the job to be done quite fast ( before my daughter started her school year). Frank showed up right away to give me the estimate and was able to start working in just a couple of days. He (and his worker) did an excellent job painting and plastering. They were very punctual (working every day from 8:30 including Saturday), professional (very much attentive to detail) and accommodating. I had a hard time deciding on the color and they worked with me on that, giving me advice. I would certainly hire them again and would highly recommend them.

Bought a new home and wanted to get the living area painted. Frank came in and gave me a written estimate for the job. He was very responsive and punctual. The worker who did the job was very professional and skilled. He cleaned up after the work was done. He was very quick and it hardly took him around 4-5 hrs to complete the job. The painting job was excellent. I got exactly what i asked for. I would definitely go with him again for other painting needs.

This is the second time I've hired Frank, and once again he and his crew did a great job. I needed someone to get my house ready to put on the market, and I knew from the start that it wasn't going to be an easy job. Some rooms had extensive paint cracking and/or flaking, and there was some plaster damage in the hallway. The narrow, 15-foot-long well for the bathroom skylight was difficult to access and apparently hadn't been painted for at least 50 years--paint was peeling off in long strips and littering the glass panel in the bathroom ceiling. It was gross. In addition, the parlor floor had extensive molding that needed special attention. As on the previous job he did for me, Frank impressed me with his promptness and responsiveness. When he came to give an estimate, he pointed out other problems that needed fixing, but he didn't oversell--all his suggestions were good ones, and it was just a matter of figuring out what I could afford. He was flexible about working within my budget--he gave a breakdown of what each part of the job would cost, so that I could pick and choose what absolutely had to be done as opposed to what would be nice but was not essential to do. In the end I spent more than I'd originally planned, but I think it was money well spent. His painters started and finished on time, cleaning up after themselves as they went along, and the final result was excellent. The house looks much, much improved. Throughout the process, Frank was extremely accessible via phone and e-mail, and was always pleasant to deal with. I'd recommend his company highly.

This was the first time I had hired someone from Angie's list, so I was a bit skeptical. I found a review for Franks Painting as well as a few others. I called three. Frank returned my call promptly and arranged a meeting. He came to the site to do an inspection and provided a detailed written quote. We decided to hire Frank's Painting. Frank and his staff were highly professional and efficient. They did an outstanding painting job. The entire project was completed quickly without a single problem. Further, Frank advised on the best paints to use for the job and his recommendations were very valuable. I would strongly recommend Frank's Painting. This experienced reaffirmed the value of Angie's list membership!

They are doing another job right now and I am going to be next. He was able to come out the next day after I called. His quote was reasonable in comparison to some other estimates I got. He called me back when he said he would.

We gave him a key and they were there at 8AM the mext morning. There were some minor setbacks but they were all handled with the highest professionalism, even going above & beyond the expected. These guys delt with a major snow storm & a security alarm problem that annoyed neighbors and brought the police. They were completely done and cleaned up by 2PM of day 10, as promised. Great Job!

THIS COMPANY WAS GOOD. I REFERRED THEM TO OTHER PEOPLE IN THE BUILDING WHO HAVE USED THEM. THEY CAME IN ON TIME AND DID IT IN THREE DAYS, WHICH IS THE TIMEFRAME THEY GAVE ME. ALSO, THEY CLEANED UP WELL.

IT TOOK THEM TWO DAYS TO GET THE WORK DONE. THEY PICKED UP THE PAINT FOR US. THEY WERE VERY GOOD. THEY WERE EFFICIENT AND CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES.
