Franks Painting

It was a good price. It was OK, just had to clean up after them. They did not have the right lighting. They did not close doors in rooms so I was exposed to dust.

Service was excellent from the estimate to the completion of the work. Frank and his team are very professional and do an excellent job. We would definitely use them again.

I had to call 2 days in a row and leave messages to set an appointment for an estimate on interior painting before getting a call back. Frank finally called me back on the 3rd day and said that he was very busy, he couldn't begin the job until end May or beginning of June. I said OK and we made an appointment for one evening the following week. He never showed up. I called him after waiting for an hour and he never returned my call. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND INCONSIDERATE. I wouldn't hire him if he were the last painter in New Jersey.

I chose Frank amongst three painters I found on Angie's list. I got estimates from all three, and while Frank wasn't the cheapest, I liked what he had to say, and he noticed things in the house that the others didn't. He and his team were punctual, trustworthy, honest and did an incredible job painting our house. At my behest, they touched up a few areas in the house that I thought needed it. When the touch ups didn't come out looking great (because of faded paint colors that were 10 years old), Frank painted those entire rooms at his cost. He worked within our schedule (trying to move into a new house quickly), and got the job done faster than originally thought. When a few areas needed to be fixed, his team did it quickly and efficiently. I have found several good service providers on Angie's List, but I would give Frank the highest of ratings and would have him back to my house anytime. If there was an A+ rating on the site, I would give it here.

I was extremely satisfied with Frank's Painting. I took numerous bids and Frank's came in the most reasonably. The original bid included paint materials as well as installation of crown molding in my living room; later I expanded that to include crown molding in the bedroom as well. The team was fast and efficient, completing everything within a week, and Frank was easy to reach. They did a great job on the painting and the workers were very pleasant. Frank oversaw the operations on day one and after that his two-man team completed it with efficiency. They even worked through the weekend. I was also very pleased with George, who installed the crown molding. All in all, I was very happy that I chose Frank's Painting; he deserves his Best of Angie's List ranking.

I'm very happy we chose Frank as our painter. We closed on our new condo on March 1st, but weren't moving in until the following weekend. Frank said he'd be able to get all of our painting done by move-in day when all the furniture was coming. Sure enough, he did! Everything looked great. We had all the walls and molding painted, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, kitchen and living room. We are very pleased with the work. He even recommended a great guy to do some more woodwork for us, and coordinated with him to get everything done on time. Thanks Frank!

I first spoke to Frank over the phone describing to him what we needed and what we were looking to get done. We set up a date for him to come and take a look and to give us an estimate. Frank was on time and very personable.What got our attention was the knowledge he had and his expertise.After taking a tour of the house he said he would give us an estimate that night via e-mail which he did.That was a plus in us making a decision to use Frank.We then agreed upon a date when the work was to be started and a time.Prior to the start date one of Frank's employees came to the house and we once again discussed what needed to be done.We liked the fact that we were able to do this so as there would be no mix up in what was discussed prior to the start of the job.When the start date arrived Frank's employees were on time and ready to start.We were impressed by that as well.They had everything ready to go and started right away.Throughout the process they were clean and very professional.When the day ended they cleaned and had all our appliances covered and protected from the dust and and any other things that might be covered in dust form their work.They were very friendly and easy to talk to.There was no mix up on the colors we had chosen and each room was painted to the exact specifications that we had talked about. When the job was completed there was very little to do in the cleanup aspect, I would say a light dusting if that. Their work was amazing.It looked as though the house was just built.Frank was in constant contact with me via the cell phone making sure his employees were doing what we had wanted and expected.Upon conclusion of the job,Frank came by himself for a walk through to make sure the job was done to our satisfaction, which it was.We are going to use Frank's paintings for all our painting needs in the future no matter what house we own.There is no need to look any further for a quality painter in our minds.We are already having Frank give us another estimate to start on our basement.Like I stated before they were on time,clean.professional and knew what to do.I wish more people conducted buisness like Frank and his employees.I would recommend Franks painting to anyone that asked or needed a painter.

Frank was extremely accomdating as we had a very limited window to get the house painted. He came over on a weekday (late in the evening) and had a look at the place and provided an estimate. His suggestions on the paint colors as well as budgeting for supplies were very valuable. Job took approx. 3 days and was executed perfectly and the clean-up was excellent. The electrical ouotlets..etc. were protected very well so they dont get damaged while painting. Very professional job.

I called Frank for an estimate and he arrived on time. He looked at the room and gave me an estimate for the job which included the paint. He was able to start the following week. His worker Leo arrived on time and did a fabulous job. When the job was completed, Leo did a great job cleaning up. The whole job ran smooth from start to finish and I would definitely use Frank's Painting again and would recommend his services to friends.

Frank was one of 3 painters I contacted for estimates. He responded immediately and came the next morning to give an estimate. I received estimates both lower and higher, and even though Frank was a little higher, he did work with me as much as he could on price and he was available to start immediately. He predicted the job would take about 3 weeks, which is exactly how long it took, even with a few added items to the original job. The estimate was exactly the final price - with a few additions that I made during the project. It was a very big project. Wallpaper removal in three rooms, ceiling repair and painting in 3-4 rooms including a vaulted ceiling, plaster and paint every room in a 5,000 sq foot house, including a two-story entry hall, and strip and paint three staircases. They also did some light carpentry work on the trim in a room where carpet had been ripped up. I am impressed they were able to complete the entire project in 3 weeks. They worked almost every single day, and took only 3 days off toward the end to finish up a project they had started before mine. Even with the small break, they still finished on time. Frank was there several times working with 2 other men. The staff was very respectful of my house, professional in their work ethic and polite every time we were in the house with them. There was a lot of plaster dust, as I expected, but they did their best to keep it minimal and they cleaned up each room as they moved through the project. They even vacuumed up some dust on the last day, even though I told them I had a cleaning crew coming in and that it wasn't necessary. Toward the end, they were very responsive regarding small touch-ups that I pointed out and they happily re-touched any area I pointed out, no matter how small. Throughout the whole process Frank remained in constant contact with me - sending me text updates as to their progress and asking my opinion of their finished work as they moved through the job. I will definitely recommend Frank to friends and family and I plan to hire him back to complete some additional projects when we are ready.

My wife and I were extremely pleased with the professionalism that Frank and his team exhibited at the get go; his team was comprised of two A+ guys (Wilson & Eddie) who worked together under the supervision of Frank - Frank owns the business and is the estimator. We received other bids for the job (both higher & lower) but I got a comfortable feeling after meeting Frank and his reviews were the best we've seen on Angie's List. It was the safest choice for what we considered an expensive job. There was no room for screw-ups Frank is not the type of guy who will give you an estimate based on your zip code or the size of your house. He is fair and he will walk you through his pricing logic. The quality of the team's work which included taking down VERY stubborn wallpaper and cleaning/preparing the walls for painting was A++. We chose a number of interior colors for multiple rooms / locations including a large kitchen and several rooms and ceilings. The guys were started work arly and finished late. They worked very cleanly despite the high potential for dust, cooperated with our busy family schedule, and were overall very pleasant; Frank, Eddie and Wilson actually enjoyed the work and they took pride in what they were doing. Frank was extremely responsive any time we needed him. He stopped by very frequently to make sure all is progressing on schedule. We liked the work they were doing so much that we kept expanding the scope of the job and added more rooms to be painted as we progressed. Overall, given the scope and cost of our job, we were highly pleased with the outcome; we actually will be using Frank again soon to paint another room.

I found Frank on Angie's list. I called him, he happened to be in the area and came over an hour later for an estimate. Frank was courteous and honest, he wrote out the estimate carefully describing the work to be done and detailing the exact cost. He was incredibly accommodating of my difficult work schedule and even adjusted his schedule so that work would be complete before I left town for a business trip. I can not say enough. I recommend him to everyone I know, and I'm hiring him again soon to paint one last room in my apartment. The work that Frank and his team do is incredibly precise. I went through the apartment trying to find a drop of paint on the floor or an accidental brush stroke on the molding but they just aren't there.

They painted the exterior of my house years prior. They did a great job and I decided to call them back when I needed the interior painted. I have not had use for painters since then, and if I do I'll be calling them again.

This was the second time that I employed Frank's Painting. My first experience went very well, described in another review. I hired Frank to repair a ceiling in a condo that I rent. As expected, Frank worked around my tenant's schedule, kept me informed and the work was completed as expected. I had some questions about the work and Frank was responsive and went back and ensured the job was completed to his specification. I was pleased that he was willing and able to complete such a small job on short notice.

I dont know what is the matter with this company. I called Frank months ago for a painting job and was told he was backed up a bt and to give him a month or so. I gave him two months and i thought that may have been enough time to contact him back. I called him about 10 x and left voicemails as well. I even text him and no response. Im sitting here wondering whats going on i didnt do anything to him i just wanted work to be done. Plus there was Daily deals for painting on Angies List for his company so that was more than enough reason to have it done. I called him today from a different phone number and he hung up the phone on me,,,, i tried to reach him back and he ignored the call and sent me to voicemail. I will find another painting company online. What a waste... i could have had someone else by now or given the business too.

Frank himself came to do the walk-through and estimate. Wilson and Eddy were on site daily. They are very nice and thoughtful and explained anything that might be of question. They were respectful of our property and cleaned up. They worked with our situation - stairs being re-done at same time, and a bathroom re-model just ending. We also have two dogs and they were friendly with them. Frank came to check the work and was receptive to fixing anything that needed to be addressed.

I was very pleased with the punctuality, reliability and professionalism of Frank and his entire crew. I decided to paint the bedrooms when there was a delay in the start of a flooring job and Frank was very responsive to my needs and timetable. He called back the same day and came over the next to provide an estimate. He managed to have a crew here in time to put in 2 days of work before the flooring guys came. This is an older home and there were issues with some of the walls. At the estimate Frank explained that there might be problems he could not readily see so he gave me 2 estimates which I thought was fair and considerate as I did end up paying the higher estimate. Frank himself actually pitched in with the labor to help expedite the job. They had to leave mid job in order to accommodate the flooring guys but came right back to finish up after being away for 3 days. Frank and his crew were very accommodating and professional throughout the job. They went the extra mile on more than one item. For example, I wanted them to paint the new shoe molding that had been installed by the flooring guys in the foyer, dining room and living room but they painted the entire baseboards to make it look nicer. Also, on the last day I asked the painter to just paint over a scuff mark on the overhead attic door but he ended up painting the whole door for me. I want to mention also that the price included the paint and other supplies they needed to buy. This was an added convenience for me as I did not even need to go to the paint store. I would definitely recommend Frank's Painting to others and plan to call Frank again when I start my next project!

Frank and his crew was a pleasure to work with from the very beginning. I wanted to get the painting done before I moved in and Frank was able to get us scheduled on short notice. His crew was at the house early each morning and worked late into the evening as well as the weekend to get it done on time. Many times Frank would call to ask for direction with paint colors when I wanted to try different colors and where more work would be needed (like painting the closet doors). I really appreciated the fact that Frank was aware of my budget and then stayed in it unless we agreed for other items. Pricing was always upfront and in writing, very detailed descriptions so there wouldn't be any confusion once the work was performed. I have been completely satisfied with the results and highly recommend Frank's Painting.

We were thrilled with the job Frank'steam did. Aside from being nice guys, they were extremely thorough and detailed and did a fantastic job and finished right on time even though we added the stairs to the job. They were also very attentive to what we wanted and made sure we were happy with their work along the way. We will definitely give Frank a call again and will recommend him to anyone we know that is looking for a painting company.

Our overall experience was good. I can imagine that it could have been far worse and would be very hard to find much better than Franks Painting.

Frank had at least 3 guys working on a job that finished ahead of schedule. He was personally on location for most of the job. The crew was courteous and neat. The finished job was excellent.

At this time I will add that based on my experience with the contractor I did pick (Not Frank's) - buyer beware! Many "A" ratings and "Super Service" award/s would suggest that the odds would be in your favor that a high quality job will be done but now I only wonder whether A) people have been conditioned to not expect high quality work these days and/or B at least some of those "A" ratings have been submitted by "ringers".
