This was a very good experience from the beginning to the end. Tom responded quickly to my request for an estimate to remodel the kitchen. He not only provided an estimate for the job but he spent a great deal of time with me in the kitchen and we discussed several recommendations Tom had that made this a better than average remodel. He was very helpful in his ideas and we did incorporate them in the plan. If I had questions and called, Tom responded almost immediately. The men who work with Tom at Economy Kitchens and Baths are just TERRIFIC. They made sure that my home was kept neat and clean during the great amount of work that they did. They were professional in their attitude and the quality of their work. During the job it became apparent that one of my ideas would not work and "Z" one of the workman re-designed the island to make it work. When they left they did a thorough cleaning of all the work areas. I would not hesitate to use them again and to recommend them to family and friends. Thanks Tom and all the men who did this job.

Economy was very professional from design to installation did what they said they would do & when they said they would do it. Wonderful experience & start to finish. This is the 3rd kitchen they have done for me.

I got quotes from 4 other contractors in the area before deciding on Economy Kitchen and Bath Tom Bak was awesome- would definitely recommend him. He helped me find the right solution for my kitchen- originally I wanted to remove a wall. He brought in an architect so that he could really give me a realistic price estimate to remove a load bearing wall. Ultimately, I decided to go with a less expensive option and I am so happy with how it turned out! His crew was great too- awesome work. Would use them again in a heartbeat.

I had been putting off getting new counter tops because I wanted to keep my original tiles and knew that that would complicate any installation. There would be the difficulty of removing the old laminate counter tops without damaging the tiles and disguising any difference in heights between the old and the new. So, I needed a company that could handle this. Tom Bak, at Economy Kitchens and Bath, was professional, patient and pleasant from the moment we stepped foot in the showroom. After he came to the house to view the job I was confident that his company could handle it correctly. And I was right. I was able to keep my old cabinets and tile back splash without any damage to either. The new quartz counter tops look great and I am very happy with the job. I would certainly use this company again and would recommend it to others.

Tom looked at our kitchen and gave suggestions that made improvements but kept to our budget. Work was done promptly by great workmen.

After provider came to our home they were to contact me with a price and schedule for the job within two weeks. We visited the showroom just to see it during some free time on the weekend. We did not expect to see our estimator but he happened to be there. Within about 2 minutes of speaking with him the owner interrupted and pulled him away. Since we didn't know how long he would be gone we waited about five minutes and left. I received an email later that day from the estimator apologizing for the interruption which was not a big deal to us as we never expected to meet with him. We just thought it was odd that he was interrupted by the owner when with a client. Seemed a bit unprofessional to us. I never received an estimate nor any other feedback from the company.

Tom responded to my inquiry on Angies List and came to prepare a estimate with a drawing & measurements. He made a recommendation to adjust one wall which was a great idea. His quote was very accurate for both time and cost. He recommended a Standard Tile in Edison as source for tile. He also referred me to Innovate Stones in Linden for quartz vanity top. Both of his vendors were very good. Tom coordinated the work schedule and the permits needed. All the work was performed by Krz (aka Chris) with help from and Domingo. Tom advised when the guys would arrive each day and they were always here as expected. The guys took great care to protect the wall to wall carpet from their daily arrivals and bringing supplies in from the truck and out with demotion debris. And they cleaned up & swept each day before they left. When they got stuck in traffic or had jury duty, I received a call to let me know of any delay or absence. Of course, the inspections were favorable and the work was completed in the 3 weeks as estimated. The quality of the work is outstanding and I love my new bathroom. The overall finished room is stunning and I wish I had done this years ago with this awesome team.

, GORGEOUS. Tom (owner) arrived right on time for the original meeting and estimate. Professional right from the start, asking me what I had in mind and offering comments and suggestions without being overbearing. Next I met Tom at the showroom to make final choices and for scheduling. At the scheduled time, came by for final measurements. Later, two installers arrived right on time. I was so pleased that they treated everything in my house so carefully--everything was protected. They stayed until the afternoon, setting the counters and the sink and faucet and installing the dishwasher. Then they had to make a template for a bumper sort of thing that is taller than the counter. After they left I was able to use the kitchen completely while waiting less than one week for the final visit at which the installers completed the bumper sort of thing and installed the floor. All personnel were exceptional, every step of the way. I have added to the wall decor since then and the kitchen is simply GORGEOUS. Everyone says so. I had tried shopping big box stores first, but there was no comparison to the attention and expertise that we received from Economy Kitchens and Baths.

It was well worth every penny that was spent. I have now have a beautiful kitchen and Jay created a functional bar area that was previously not functional. The people that did the work were very kind, considerate, and professional. They were very mindful of my home and pets. If I had any problems at all after the remodel they would come out immediately and fix the problem no questions asked. The end results for both my kitchen and bar is perfect and my kitchen is beautiful. Their name is Economy Kitchen and Bath, if you want economy they could provide that but they can also provide very high-end products as well.

I'm writing the review and I wanted everyone to know that the kitchen was redone in 2006. I have had no problems with the cabinetry, flooring, electrical since the installation. I love my Wellborn cabinets today just as much as when they were installed. A beautiful maple with grades of staining. A demonstration of a job well done is how it holds up over the years -- thank you Economy.

We needed to update and remodel both our kitchen and bathroom in an older condominium complex. Both rooms had not been updated since we purchased the condo nearly 25 years ago. Based on the research we did on Angie's List, we decided to visit Economy Kitchens. Jay Tabeck was fantastic! He was very familiar with our complex and understood the challenges of working on an older building. After visiting our condo, he met with us for over two hours going over realistic designs for both our kitchen and bathroom. The estimated prices he quoted were extremely fair. He sent us out to choose our countertop, tile and appliances recommending several vendors. Without Jay' guidance, we would not have known where to begin. We met with him one more time before the demolition to finalize the plans. Permits were obtained and demolition began in early October, 2015. The crew removed all trash and old materials and disposed of them at Economy's site, not in the condo's trash facilities. Once the walls were opened, he informed us that we had both plumbing and flooring (structural) issues. Because our condo was on the second floor, we worked with our downstairs neighbor and condo board to address the issues. Our neighbor confirmed what we already knew: that Jay's workers were very professional, neat and efficient. Before long, we were back on track. The condo's Manager, as well as the town inspector stated that the plumbing job was not only done correctly, it was the best job they had seen in a long time. Jay assigned "Z" to be our main construction contractor. We absolutely loved the work "Z" did for us. Jay, "Z" and my husband got along famously and whenever questions or concerns were raised by either party, they were quickly resolved. Jay designed a small "tea table" which changed our minimally functional kitchen into an truly "eat-in" kitchen. The bathroom, with all it's plumbing and flooring issues, turned out to be a true masterpiece. Jay and "Z" finished the job in approximately 8 weeks and on budget with absolutely wonderful results. We have brought several friends and other condo residents to view our remodel and they all remark about the quality of work that was done. We highly recommend Economy Kitchens and Jay and would use them again in a heartbeat. We are so happy with the results. He truly added value to our property.

Sue Moore was a phenomenal designer. Compared with any company, her design was like night & day. She walked me through every step of selecting with great patience. Everyone sent to work here was wonderful!

I t went very well. I was very impressed, they were very knowledgeable, very pleasant to work with. They made sure i Knew exactly what was going on and they kept me in the loop with all the work process.

My kitchen exceeds my expectations! The carpenters, plumber, electrician were wonderful. The men were always on time and did a phenomenal job. Frank, our sales manager, was fantastic and guided us through the project expertly. They all made this project so easy for us. We could not be happier and 100% recommend them Absolutely!

They are just awesome! I wanted new kitchen counters, didn?t want marble or granite or anything fancy. I wanted Formica, which most companies don?t offer anymore. Frank came out several times and even helped me pick out the color. Every time he came he measured, which I thought was really efficient. His brother-in-law, Patrick, single-handedly did the work, and it turned out absolutely perfect. They are very emphatic about if I needed anything to get back to them so they could fix it.

Very unprofessional. They came to look over our bathroom to give us an estimate which they never sent. This to me is very unprofessional. I had told them that our bathroom project was small. If they felt the project was too small once they saw the room, they should have said something to us whether by phone or mail and I would have understood. To never say anything was not acceptable and to never send an estimate was just as bad. As a result, I will never contact them again for a larger job.

They were very professional, very timely, and reasonable on the price quote they gave. I'm very happy with my new kitchen.

The workers were relatively on time however, it was not the same workers all the time. Which caused some problems, such as they did not know where the other people had left off. Also, after tiling the backsplash, they did not screw the outlets back into the wall and tiled over one of the holes to screw it in. In addition, they broke a candle, candlestick holder and 3 towels went missing. Would I use them in the future? Maybe!

Economy Kitchens and Baths installed the kitchen cabinets that we purchased from them. The selection was plentiful and of good quality. Sue, our designer/sales consultant, was extremely helpful in laying out the design and color selection. The installers were polite, neat, and extremely skilled carpenters. The stone fabricator that the company works with has a vast selection-- happily we did not have to go there, because Economy Kitchen provided us with a complete array of quartz samples from various manufacturers. We love one stop shopping. Jay, one of the proprietors, was very helpful with scheduling the work to be done in a timely fashion. We are delighted with the result and loving our new kitchen! As a matter of fact, the town inspector, remarked that he inspects at least three kitchens a week and that our kitchen was a particularly well done job. We wholehearted recommend Economy Kitchens and Baths!

We contacted Economy Kitchen and Bath (EKB) last year and they presented us with a very sound proposal at a reasonable price. The deciding factor in going with EKB, vs. another company, was that some friends had just used them and were very satisfied with the work done. Tom Bak met with us and drew up a detailed project plan. It called for 12 days of actual work time, including demolition, but because of holidays and our vacation, we agreed to stretch the project over 2 months. Tom was flexible in working around our schedule. Pat had the lead and did an excellent job on the tile work. I like the fact they didn?t take any short cuts in their work ? or at least I didn?t see any. For example, they had to do some additional steps to install an electrical junction box to comply with Code. They were very upfront about what they were doing and why. The project was completed on schedule, with no surprises or added cost. Throughout the project, Tom kept us informed of what was going on, and responded on a timely basis to my e-mail questions. The quality of the remodeling work was excellent. I feel very good about the final product.
