Description of Work: Kitchen Reno that started in sept 2012. Huge project with many ups and downs including working through sandy without power. In the end the results were beautiful and everything is still standing.

Description of Work: Economy kitchens did a kitchen renovation for us. They were very professional and showed up on time and kept to their original estimate.

Description of Work: I had my kitchen opened up by removing one wall. They moved my sink under the window, relocated my refrigerator, installed all new cabinets and new appliances. I was amazed at the professionalism of each group of workers from the demolition men to the plumbers and electricians, to the cabinet and floor installation experts. In addition, I was able to continue operating my family day care with only minimal interruption and noise. I just love my new kitchen and thank Economy Kitchens for all their all hard work.

Description of Work: Designed a new kitchen which involved refacing existing cabinets, installed a peninsula with all new cabinets , installed appliances ....microwave, electric oven, gas stove top, dishwasher, sink and lighting. Also installed tile backsplashes and a laminate floor. They did a great job. This was the 2nd kitchen that they did for me. I would use them a 3rd time!

Description of Work: Install kitchen cabinets, Counter tops / Lam, overall went well, removed old cabinets myself, Economy sold me new ones and installed them. The quality is good , not the best but good for what I wanted to pay. Installer was very good, professional and courteous who also knew his craft very well. This was a small kitchen, 10 x 10 or so , utilized a L pattern for the counter and cabinets, the larger 45 Degree corner cabinets worked out providing useful access. Listen to Sue she knows what she is doing. All in all went smooth. One door was slightly damaged and Rich the installer right away in my presence called the office to order a replacement. Price , Quality, Professionalism and overall good experience. I was in the Home Improvement game some years ago, If I'm satisfied they must have done something right .

Description of Work: Bathroom gut and redesign.

Description of Work: This project involved an upgrade to an existing kitchen by removing existing cabinets, countertops, sink, and dishwasher and installing new wood cabinets, a Corian countertop, new sink and faucet along with a new dishwasher. I requested a price estimate on this job in October 2011. An agreement was made in November on the particular details of this job and work began on 12-7-11 and was completed on 12-19-11. The following points may be of interest and value to other members seeking kitchen or bathroom renovations. Tom Bak came to my home in October for an initial appraisal of the work to be done. In 10-15 minutes he made a sketch and gave me a ballpark cost figure. He followed up a few days later with a detailed quote and suggested a visit to his showroom in Rahway to select specific fixtures. After the agreement was made, Tom Bak returned to my home to make a more detailed drawing of the work to be done. At this time, a number of subtle points and considerations were identified that would affect the construction process and likely cause additional costs after work began. In my view, any changes or upgrades were reasonably priced. Tom was very helpful in selecting various items and patient with changes we made along the way. The actual working crew that installed the kitchen, Rich, Patrick, & Chris (and assistant) all performed in a professional manner and were easy to deal with. The crew did a nice job of cleaning up and there was minimal marking of the drywall in the kitchen from the work. In summation, I feel the job was done very well and at a fair price point, especially considering the quality of the work performed. I mention this since I had another contractor estimate this project (at a higher price) and a number subtle points went unnoticed that would have affected the work once it had begun. Bottom line: I am very pleased with the work and would definitely consider hiring Economy Kitchens & Bath should there be a need for this type of work in the future which in my case would be a bathroom renovation.
