They were not the cheapest but I liked Anthony Valle's professionalism and responsiveness to phone/text/email. We had some delays with the job. We signed in the fall but our job could not be completed until March. Our gas lines were too old and could not accommodate the generator that we wanted (check with your gas company before you sign any contract). We only discovered this a day after we signed and gave our deposit with North East Generator. I did call Anthony immediately and asked if we could wait on the contract and he said that if he refunded our deposit then he'd also have to charge a 10% restocking fee. I was surprised about that since generators were in such high demand that nothing stayed in the warehouses very long. I would have been happier if he had said no problem, fix your lines and give us a call when you're ready and here is your check. Luckily the gas company replaced our lines at no charge and we were able to get new lines in the following January with minimal damage to our front landscaping. Bad weather delayed install for another month. The job itself took 2 days to complete (under the amount of time originally expected). Day 1 they prepped for the gravel base/pad. Day 2, both electricians then plumbers later in the day came and completed the job. As of now we are expecting the inspector to come in a couple of days to check the gas lines (I will follow up with that later.) When the generator passes inspection and the final hook up to the gas line is made then the remainder of our balance is due (about $5k). I will be sure to note any additional charges. Overall they completed the job well. I will have to follow up with this review to let you know how the inspection went. Update 4/11/14- electric and plumbing inspections passed a week after installation. We just have to follow up with contractor about getting us registered with Koehler so we can monitor the system online.

The job went great. Demolition took two days, electrics took two days, dry wall and doors took three days. Final bill was a bit higher than the estimate, based on two extra days of work and new doors. Anthony and his gang are young guys, they work hard, and they do excellent, high-quality work. They were pleasant to have around, they put down plastic to protect my flooring, and cleaned up when they were done. I've dealt with several different home-construction firms over the years, and they were the best. I wish they'd been around when I had my bathrooms done five years ago. If I had another job for them to do, I'd have them back in a second.
