Description of Work: asked them to come for a quote and salesperson was a bit rude, complained about the ivy and said it would be an issue (which other co's did not mention). He said the ivy would rot the new fence. Then he told us it "was easy to pull up the ivy" and we should do that now and he had no callouses on his hand. My husband and I knew they were not for us. Ever pulled up Ivy?!! It's not easy. their quote was $500 higher than a leading competitor who had no issue w/ the ivy.

I do agree with the salesman and would avoid having ivy grow on your new wood fence. The moisture from the ivy will decrease the life of your wood fence over time. We do not remove ivy or do landscaping, we just install fence and railing. We often will offer suggestions to help the homeowner. Sometimes that is more important than just selling a product the homeowner may have issues later after installation. Good luck with you decision and again I appreciate your review. Enjoy your summer. Description of Work: A vinyl fence with three gates was installed. The fence is beautiful and we are extremely pleased with it. The installers bent over backwards to make sure we were happy and satisfied with the installation. I give them so much credit for the beautiful job. The weather was absolutely brutal and the installers did not miss a beat. Very, very satisfied!

Description of Work: They rushed the install and parts of the fence were 6-8 inches off the ground. When I called to confront them about this, the owner told me that there was nothing that could be done. However, one of their fence people came out and basically had to redo the whole fence because of the problems. They were very rude and made promises that they could not keep. I will not be using them again.

Good day [Member Name Removed], Thank you for your review. I am confused by the statements you have made. If memory serves me correctly. The job was contracted to [Member Name Removed]. After we installed your fence [Member Name Removed] said he was happy with install. For this reason only he paid us. We do not collect payment until the person on the contract does a final inspection first. After the payment was made you called and asked us to come back out to the house for rework. We came out right away and did the rework requested. [Member Name Removed] said again to our original installer it looks good. You were home when we came out this second time but never came out of your house. You called again and said you were not happy. I then sent out my installation manager who came out multiple times until your were satisfied. He made the top of the fence level and the bottom of the fence to fix gaps had to fill in dirt and seed which is not part of the contract. I have been doing this for some time and most fence companies would not have came out as many times as we did. But we believe in making the customer happy. This is not always an easy task, but a reputable company will honor there work. If we were rude or the owner did not care I don't think we would have done what continued to do for you. You never one once in your review mentioned our installation manager who is the one that made the effort to make you happy. It would have been a nice gesture on your part to acknowledge what he did. Someone had to send him out to you, so if we did not care you would have never seen him. I still appreciate your review and the business [Member Name Removed] gave us. Description of Work: Got many estimates and American Discount Fence was one of the lowest price with the best value for what I wanted. They gave me an estimate and stuck to that amount with no hidden surprises. Took about 3 weeks from the time I received my permit. Had a 4 foot vinyl picket fence installed with the removal of an old wooden picket fence. Vinyl fence looks so much better than my old wooden picket fence. Very pleased with new fence and service provided. Installation was one day and left my yard in good shape for the work they did. Would recommend.

Description of Work: The ADF team came out designed, laid out & installed a custom fence around our back yard. The combined custom-cut cedar plank fence and split-rail wire mesh fence created a great haven with a view of the forest behind our house. They showed up on time each time (from the estimate to the actual work) and completed the job as promised & things turned out great!

Description of Work: I had set up an estimate for 10am. However no one showed up until 12:30 even after I had called to find out where they were. He was very unprofessional and gave my husband attitude when he was explaining that we wanted two different estimates for a fence in the backyard and one for the front. And that we were looking for a wood fence. Claimed i had said different on the phone. I would not recommend to anyone.
