Great price and excellent work.

From start to finish the process was extremely easy. Both the sales staff and the installers did a great job and I would highly recommend them.

If you read the other reviews, it appears that they either get A or F ratings most commonly.

The two workers were very professional and completed the work in a timely manner. I would recommend them and if needed use them in the future.

This was a very pleasant experience. Everyone was very professional from the first phone call to the arrival of the fence crew. They came out and gave a fair estimate, showed up on time, keep the yard neat and orderly while working and finished exactly when they said the would; I would recommend American Discount Fence to anyone who needed to replace or install a new fence. Thanks for providing us with such a seamless experience.

Our installation went very well. The work team worked quickly and the fence was installed just as we asked. We loved it. When our neighbor hired them, however, ADF did some damage to our yard -- we understand that stuff happens, so when they agreed to reimburse us the $150 that we had to pay a 3rd party to fix the damage, we were satisfied. However, it has been several weeks, and I've been bugging them to send the check (have emailed a copy of the repair invoice twice; I have talked to and texted back and forth with the owner a number of times)... and still no check. I hate to drag my neighbor back into this issue... they have created an uncomfortable situation and because of this experience, I would not recommend them again.

Justin at American Fence has so far been wonderful. My husband and I called around to a few fence companies to obtain quotes. This one in particular took the time to come out and take a look at the property instead of just blindly quoting us a price off of our property survey. They actually came out a week earlier then scheduled as they had an opening. Justin also helped us compile all of the necessary documents our homeowners association required. We just received approval yesterday and put our deposit down. Fence installation is expected in the next 3-4 weeks. So far out of the 4 companies we contacted Justin was the only one to actually seem to care about our business and actually come out and give us a quote. A lot of the other companies just wanted to give you a quote via telephone and never come out or never return your call at all. I'll update my review after installation if necessary but at this point really don't foresee any issues arising!

All of the employees with whom we had contact were knowledgeable, helpful and courteous - the salesman in the store, the supervisor who obtained measurements, and the laborers who actually installed the fence. The installation was completed within a day. We are very pleased with the results. A job well done!

Initially ordered wrong fence but correct one installed.

I called before the start of business on Saturday, April 26, 2014. I left all my information, house #, cell #, name, address, and what I needed done. I haven't recieved a return call or anything. Not very professional. Another compeditor did return my call, but I was hoping to get more than one estimate for my project. It's ashame because there were some really good reviews for this company, I just hope they haven't gotten so big that they ignore new customers and their money.

I had this company install my fence several years ago and paid over $3000.00. I approached this same company while they were installing my neighbors fence about removing a couple panels from the fence to remove a tree. Their representative came over looked at the fence and said it'd only be $100.00 for the removal & replacement of the (2) panels. When it came time for the work to be done & I contacted the office, the price went to $179.00 to take out and $179.00 to put them back. He dropped the price to $150.00 to take out & then put back after I complained about the cost. Well, I couldn't see paying over $300.00 for a $500.00 tree job. So, I took the panels out and put them back myself. The job took all of 15 minutes to take out and another 15 to put it back. That's $10.00/per minute. They were the best price and quality when I purchased the fence. If you need anything after that, it's all about the $$$$. I was very disappointed but even more after doing it myself, realizing how little time and effort it took & how much money they wanted.

o Initial meeting was excellent, representative was knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations/suggestions. o Workers arrived early 8.30 AM on the day stated, completed the project by 1.30 PM. Company called earlier in the week to advise that they would arrive one day later than agreed because of a snowstorm. o Work was professionally done, workers were courteous and neat They checked in several times during the installation to insure that the work was progressing as agreed. Installers took all srcap material, boxes, tailings, etc. with them when they left. o Installer took the time after completion to demonstrate how the gate keys and gate locks operated. o We are more than pleased with both the price and the completed fence.

Great experience from estimate thru install. Install team was very professional, on time and did a great job taking down and hauling away old fence. Very satisfied with product and install.

Sales rep was responsive and helpful. Install team was excellent; when they arrived,they reviewed the job to be sure of what we wanted. Office staff was always helpful when I called them.

American did a great job. Quality and service from estimate to final job were well done and professional. Did a great job with clean-up as well. Would highly recommend.

These guys are courteous, punctual and a joy to deal with. I called their number and the man answering the phone made an appointment with me for a consultation. The gentleman came at the appointed time and gave me a written estimate within about ten minutes. He answered all my questions. I gave him a deposit. They scheduled the Utilities' visit for the little flags marking gas and sewer lines, and called me that week with a date for installation. When that day came, the installer called first thing, saying that since it was stormy, they'd prefer a day the next week. I agreed. Two men came the next week and worked very hard, knocking over the old fence and loading it onto their truck for removal. They carried in all the new posts and fence-sections one by one. They dug new post holes with a power-auger and poured cement into the holes for the new posts. The whole thing was done in about three hours. It feels pretty solid and is a pleasure to look at--all the tops line up evenly and it looks plumb, etc.

Overall very happy with the work and responsiveness. They were very understanding when I had to reschedule several times due to delays in other work going on in our yard. We are very happy with the quality of the fence installation and the price was reasonable. A couple small hiccup - there was some confusion because the existing fence belonged to our neighbor and the installer was nervous to remove it without her there - might be useful to ask homeowners to get something in writing from the neighbor when this is the case. Thankfully our neighbor came home while the installer was still there and got all resolved. The other issue was some confusion on my part when I thought they were coming to install the fence, but they were actually coming to check out the site and installation needed. This only put off the date a day or two, so not really a big deal.

They installed a 6 foot high pine stockage fence around part of our back yard. Some of our neighbors have fences around parts of our yard and we wanted to complete a fenced in area in our back yard. We had to wait about three weeks after the estimate for them to complete the work since they were busy. It worked out well since we needed time to remove a large amount of shrubbery from the fencing area. When the team came to the house they let us approve the fence line prior to installation. The men worked very hard and were here for about six or seven hours. We received a discount for using Angie's List. I thought we got the fence for a good price.

When I was younger I used to put up a lot of fence with my father. The workers did a good job, they did the job as I would have. It's straight, level and the gate works perfectly. They did run into a problem, they were shorted some supplies but that was quickly remedied. We had vinyl privacy fence put up between the houses and chain link out back.

American Discount Fence was extremely responsive and reasonable. We have used them in the past for smaller projects, gate replacements, and decided to go with them again for this larger job. They came out quickly to give us the estimate and scheduled us within a week of the mark outs being done. We were very happy with the questions and points they brought up to us about the install. They were very professional. We will definitely use them again when needed and highly recommend them,.

American Discount Fence was recommended to me by some family living in Ocean City. I looked them up here on Angie's List and they were among the contractors in my area and had pretty decent reviews. I sent an e-mail to request an estimate, and she said "we don't install in Lawrenceville. that's in North Jersey, right?" I replied that Lawrenceville is just outside Trenton, and did not get a response. Since Lawrenceville is about 45 minutes away from Runnemede, I was surprised they wouldn't install here but would install 1 hour away in Ocean City. It was disappointing, too, that she did not know where Lawrenceville was located and didn't even look it up to be sure before responding and turning away business. I still gave them a C because my family tells me they did amazing work on their fence and that the crew was very professional and respectful.

My husband is in construction, so he knew about them from his business. They put in a pool height aluminum fence. It’s not a privacy fence; it’s all open, but its pool height about 54 inches tall. We have it around most of our backyard, the entire yard and the pool all encased in the fence. It was the same fence, my husband had experience with them and they were probably the cheapest. They put the fence up, they put it up quickly. They also put it up when they said they would. It is required that the fence be self locking except for the areas where they are not used. We have 4 openings to the fence, 2 of them pretty much don’t work right now and 1 had to be completely dismantled, that would be the only complain I have. I would use them in the future.

They are very good. I see a lot of their signs around the neighborhood. I like the products that they have. They were very good, quick, and efficient. They didn't leave a mess and were very accommodating. It was seamless the way they did it, they were very accommodating in the things that I wanted.

It took them two weeks to get back to me. It wasn?t what I wanted to do for the price. Besides following up with the estimate they were prompt with showing up to look at the area; they were very thorough and professional.
