We recently worked with Sothebys Realty in Rumson, and had the pleasure of working with Laura Trama, who helped us to buy our perfect home. If you are in the market for a Realtor, Laura is without a doubt the best. We have moved around a lot, both within the USA and Internationally and have dealt with a lot of different realtors. Laura is a fantastic listener and communicator and hands down the best realtor we have ever worked with. She was extremely professional, responded immediately, and it took her no time at all to get a feel for the kind of house we were looking for. With a long distance move, I was able to only have to fly into town on several occasions to do the house hunt. She asked the right questions and is a great listener, and in a very short time she knew what kind of house would fit our needs. This saved us a lot of time, as she was able to view homes in advance, so we only had to fly in to see houses that were of real interest. In just a few visits she helped us find our perfect home. There is a truly genuine quality about Laura. An absolute pleasure to work with and she was someone we could trust. Her honest sincere nature and her great business sense was just what we were hoping we would find. Not once did we feel like she was trying to push us into the sale of a home. Her patience was remarkable. And she really wanted to help us find our perfect home. Additionally, having lived in the area for over 8 years, she was seasoned and really knew the area (like the schools, where to shop, eat, etc.) Laura also was new enough to the area to know what may be unsettling about the area and gave great recommendations all around. Just a wealth of knowledge about homes and the area we settled in as well as surrounding areas. Not only was she fantastic with finding us the perfect home, and getting us up to speed on what the area has to offer, she also went above and beyond in helping us with the closing. She knew the market, comps and helped us to negotiate a great deal. We feel not only fortunate to have found the perfect house, but I know we have also found a new friend. And we are looking forward to seeing a lot more of Laura.
