Despite the adverse conditions Bryan had to work in, the jobs went well.

Bryan and his wife Josie personally came out on a Saturday to look at the basement project and I requested 3 different quotes on what I referred to as 3 different projects. For strategic reasons I had to break the work up because like most remodels, things need to be completed in a specific order. The soffit project was my biggest concern and getting some of the simple plumbing cutbacks done allowed me to finish up some loose ends. Five days later I received a quote from Bryan that was reasonable so we scheduled a date for the work to be done. One of Bryan's teams was doing the work, they showed up on time and quickly reviewed the scope of the project and confirmed exactly what the expectation was. Even though I pushed donuts, etc. on them they wanted to get right to work and to make their lives easier I set up a miter saw outside for them to use (even though they came prepared). A guy named George was obviously in charge he went to get some supplies while the other two guys started reinforcing my existing framing and checking and making any studs plum that they had to build the soffit off of. At one point (since I know spanish) they were mentioning how they wanted to secure the sill plate down further I was more than happy to provide the hilti, ammo & nails to punch through the basement floor. You know you have a good team when they first check what is LEVEL before just hammering away and trying to build a soffit which MUST be level or when you drywall it, it will stick out and be off. My basement sounded like gun range for about an hour as George and his two other laborers put up the soffit, they worked fast but very conscientious to do quality work, the tool they used MOST was the level, George kept checking and rechecking the soffit as it went up. After finally getting them to eat a donut and some water/soda the guys finished up the framing, attached the sheet rock ceiling portion and even went as far as ensuring their work lined u with other existing walls/framing. I was so happy with the work I demanded to buy them lunch, called it into the local pizzeria and told to 'go eat it on the way home'. Bryan's team delivered as promised, cleaned up behind themselves and were an absolute class act to deal with.

Bryan's crew were professional, friendly, talented and able to think out of the box to quickly solve some difficult repair issues to prepare an old house for the market. I was surprised at first that Bryan did not perform any of the work himself. Instead, he would stop by with his assistant to check on the crew about once a day. However, the crew proved to be knowledgeable and very willing so we were fine. On the one hand I felt like I was paying too much overhead for Bryan, his assistant and his foreman. However, on the other hand it was a comfort to know that if something did go wrong the extra overhead covered insurance, etc. Bryan and his assistant also helped me to prioritize the most important tasks based on what a buyer would notice and they found items that may have proven hazardous such as a loose step in the basement. All in all, given the long punch list which ran the gamut from difficult custom woodwork repairs to changing light bulbs to dumping trash, the job was completed quickly and efficiently. I was very happy that the process was relatively painless and the end product was better than I had hoped for given the number of tasks and the time frame within which they needed to be completed.

Was trying to get him to come out and just provide an estimate to have wood floors put down and some bathroom work. I asked several times to have him call me but never did. Finally got response back that can only come to house to provide estimate between 11am and 1 pm. When told him we need after hours appointment as we both work I was basically told sorry. He wrote that his day starts at 6am and ends at 5. Not my problem Bryan, you picked this profession knowing the hours. I found another contractor and he was glad to work with us regarding our schedules. Glad we found this out now before we hired him to do work!

Bryan responded quickly to my initial email contact, and arrived promptly each time he scheduled a meeting with me. Bryan gave his workmen brief yet very specific instructions on what needed to be done, and they got to work immediately. Because three of the lights were to be hung from a rod, one of the workman sought input from me so the appropriate rod could be selected to ensure proper distance from the ceiling. For me, it's an added benefit when workers exhibit thoughtfulness during a project. The workmen were very polite, and cleaned up when they were done. As of this review, Bryan has completed 75% of the work to be done, and I am confident that remaining work wiil be completed with the same level of expertise and professionalism. I can also say without hesitation that I regret not hiring him to perform all the work that needs to be done. I won't make that mistake again.

This was a small job in which many of the contractors did not respond to the contacts I made. Bryan Grubb responded and scheduled time to look at the work area and give an itemized estimate. Most of the work was completed the first day. I experienced an unforeseen major plumbing issue which had to be resolved before the work could be completed. The issue related to worn pipes leading to the back of the property causing major clogging leading back to the property. Bryan Grubb worked with me throughout this process and was waited patiently for my issue to be resolved. I contacted Grubb and scheduled the appointment and the job was completed. Grubb was fair in the price quoted. Grubb's workers were courteous and hard working. I had a positive experience and would recommend him to others.

Bryan & crew arrived on the day that they said they would; his workers did an excellent job finishing the rough drywall left for them. They were very clean, and very polite. They left no mess behind for me to clean up.

I found him on Angie’s List. I chose him because I liked the presentation and he was very matter of fact. He did things in a timely manner. I am mostly satisfied. He started out wonderfully and towards the end, it got sloppy. We had to have him go and we got somebody else. He put in new switch plates and they were lopsided and he didn’t consult us and the color didn’t make sense, he put black by blue on a light wall and you don’t do that when you paint a house. He became fruitless and that was a shame because he had a very good start. He should have called us and asked what color switch plates we wanted for the electric outlet and the light switch, it wasn’t his decision to make. It was light walls so black really stood out, we had to replace all of them and it was extra expense, so it was annoying. The original one’s he replaced was white. He changed from beginning and towards the end and we weren’t demanding in anyway. He wasn’t up to senses when we pointed out some things that were problematic. The other thing is that there was another thing that was a little icky about it, he came in with a realtor and every time they came together, they were pushing us to take her as our realtor, that didn’t feel right, and I didn’t in the end. He was there every time as promised.

Everything was done on time and well. The only bit of negative feedback was that I didn't realize that Bryan was not actually doing the work and when he left, I did not know it. He has a great team of workers who do the work and they did a great job. Thanks, Bryan!

My experience with them went very well. The price was good and the workmanship was nice. The people were honorable. They were very punctual.

He charged us a great price. Everything was done very professionally. They cleaned up. They did a very good job.

Punctual, did exactly what needed to be done, without having to tear down the whole ceiling which was a huge plus. Ceiling looks good as new. Chaps who came to do the work were polite & friendly, and cleaned up afterwards.

I was very happy with their work. The team were pleasant to have around. Nice people. No blaring radios and great clean up. They were cheerful, polite and nice to deal with, and they seemed happy. All was done well. I was especially pleased with the basement where they carefully attended to any spot where my cats would have been able to climb into the not so safe area for them The only area where I would have appreciated just a little more was in all round more communication. ( you can probably never over communicate) We had a snafu over the original date, leaving me expecting them and discovering they weren't coming, but to make up for that they came on a Saturday and worked all day 10-6pm

They did an excellent job. When something did not go correctly they fixed it and informed me of the issue. I will use this company again.

I thought he was very good. He came right out and gave me an estimate and the estimate ended up being what it was supposed to be. The end cost was what the estimate was. He had good ratings on Angie’s List. It was all done quickly. I didn’t have to wait several weeks for him to come out to do the job. It was done efficient and in a timely manner.

The process was quick and painless. Bryan and his team were excellent.

His employees showed up on time and were professional and courteous. The time line to completion was spread out do to circumstances but in the end, we are a satisfied customer and would recommend this company to anyone looking for home repairs.

Went well. He was able to meet a very tight dead line with a large amount of work to be done. Had the ability to flex up and make it happen. Very please with his work and promptness.

Bryan and his crew were highly competent and professional. They were able to tackle a wide variety of work, worked quickly and cleanly, and showed up when they said they would. Communication was prompt and frequent. Having used a number of other contractors and tradesmen that were not nearly as good, I highly recommend Byran's team for any work you can throw at them.

Bryan was very professional from the very beginning. He responded to my initial call quickly. He stopped by when scheduled to give estimate. The guys showed up on time when scheduled. They worked very efficiently and were courteous. They guys did a good job to keep the floors clean and did a commendable job putting things back in order when they were done. The work they did looked good. Overall very pleased.

Part of the job was completed fine, but some of workmanship was not the best. He has employee who do the work and is not there to supervise. Workers are polite and professional, but the quality of the work is not up to par.

Bryan and his crew did a great job with the master bathroom and deck. The crew was very hardworking, talented and punctual, and Bryan was professional and honest. Communication was a bit iffy, but worth the wait. Yes, I would definitely hire them again.
