Bryan's Handyman & Home Improvement Service

I had to have my roof repaired earlier in the year (by a different company) because of a couple of bad leaks. The leaks ended up causing pretty bad damage to the ceiling in my bedroom and my kitchen. So I had to have them replaced. Bryan came out to do an estimate, and I was able to lower the overall cost by doing the initial demo work (removing the drop and acoustic ceilings) myself. Once that was done (ick!) Bryan's crew came out and got right to work! In three days, they put up sheetrock, sanded, spackled, painted, put up new crown molding, and hung up my ceiling fans. The work is fantastic, especially in the kitchen (I gained about three inches of height in that room and I can't get over how it looks).

The job went well. The team arrived on time. They were friendly and professional. They cleanly and did not disturb any of my belongings. They did have to come back to check the toilet as it continued to run and they cam back early the next day. It seems that the valve was stuck temporarily.

Employees late reporting to job. Repair work to walls and ceiling was very good. Floor repairs was fair. If I did not check on work a lot would have to be done over. Did not nail subflooring down properly had to redo. Believe tile could have been a closer match.

He was very good and very punctual. He did everything just as he said he would. He did an excellent job and came right away to give an estimate. The price was very good and they sent a couple of guys out to do the installation. I was quite impressed with the work they did for the price and their estimate was the lowest from the other estimates I received. They were very responsive and quick. I was very pleased with them.

Renovations accomplished by the former owners were cosmetically satisfactory, but one mis-step was failing to vent the clothes dryer outdoors. Bryan came out and looked at the "simple" job, and advised that it would be best to do the work on a "time and material" basis, which I understood, and that was fine with me. His men were kind and courteous. I had a request to add some insulation in the area where the pipe exited the building, and anywhere else that they saw needed it, and they seemed happy to help me, and took care of it. The whole experience with Bryan's crew was great, and they cleaned the areas where they worked, and their avenue of entry and exit, at the end of each day. No complaints. I am planning the next project already, and would be very happy to have Bryan's crew of professionals return and take care of my family's needs. The guys did a great job. This was a huge project, since I'm trying to fix this place up to put it on the market. Bryan came up with suggestions that I never would have thought of...right down to the doorknobs and light fixtures. Except for a few minor glitches that are to be expected when undertaking such a large project, everything was resolved, and the place looks great! Now I look forward to the staging process. I was very impressed with how polite the workers were. They always made sure they cleaned up before leaving & made sure I had access to the fridge, the microwave, the couch, and the TV. I would like to add what a pleasure it was to work with Josie, Bryan's "right-hand" lady. She was always in contact with me, keeping me informed on what was going on. Not only that, but when she was supposed to be on vacation, she still called to see if I had any concerns. Great customer service! I highly recommend Bryan's Handyman & Home Improvement Service.

Small jobs turned into more work (which we knew was a possibility); up front about the potential cost, which would need to be determined once work was started. Came when they said they would, did not leave until what needed or could be done was completed. Best of all, at the end of the day, you did not even know you were having work done, as the entire area was cleaned up, even though they were coming back. The men were polite & professional and always asked that I come and look to see that things were being done to my satisfaction. We had a couple of little hiccups which were mmediately addressed and resolved 100% to my satisfaction. All calls returned and easy to reach.

This is the second time working with Bryan, and it went smooth as the first. Our house is under contract and had to have these items fixed prior to the township coming to inspect the house. Bryan was able to schedule the job in our needed time frame and had his guys knock out everything in one day. Thanks again Bryan!!

At first I was skeptical because I thought both fellows couldn't speak English but one of them could. They were very accurate, took their time, and did it right the first time. They never had to ask me twice for directions. Very pleased because I work with a lot of contractors. One of them even pointed out a mistake about the way I was going to have the paintings hung! Very impressed!

After contacting a few different contractors we decided to go with Bryan and we are very happy we did. We had these different projects on our house and we are very happy with the results of all three. He was very flexible and worked around our busy schedules to get the projects done on schedule, actually even earlier than we had originally hoped. We had a minor issue with one of the casings and Bryan sent someone out the same day to fix it immediately. His staff was very courteous and professional. I would highly recommend them for any house project.

Crew showed up on time , worked quickly and efficiently and left my home clean. I have always had clean up when other work was done in the past but in this case everything was cleaned up perfectly. The quality of the work done was very good.

Bryan and Josie are wonderful. They both came for the initial estimate and emailed me the contract shortly thereafter as promised. We set up a date and the crew arrived promptly ready to begin the project. Bryan also was on site overlooking the work. Everyone worked together very well and the workmanship was very meticulous. Bryan's Handyman and Home Improvement personnel arrived to begin work at the appointed time. His team examined and reassessed the work to be done and proceeded with job-site preparations. I cannot say enough about the quality of the work and the professionalism exhibited by Bryan's Handymen. They were skilled, talented, and even provided education on their methods. This was extremely valuable to me as a homeowner; however, it also allowed me to gain insight into the breadth and depth of their knowledge and experience. Another extremely important point worth noting is the care that Bryan's Handymen took safeguarding and protecting my home--using drop-clothes and protective plastics. In addition, where they noticed the potential for an item to be exposed to possible damage, they relocated such items to a safe location. Awesome, awesome, awesome! Every work item was completed professionally and with great care and quality. Further, on each day in which service was provided, Mr. Grubb contacted me to ensure that I was satisfied with the provided service. Last, at the end of completing the work tasks, Bryan's Handymen cleaned up after themselves--vacuuming and wiping up areas within the target work zone. In conclusion, I was very pleased with Bryan?s Handyman and Home Improvement Services and will not only use their services again, but have designated them as my preferred Home Improvement Service provider.

When I originally called there appeared to be no issue as an appointment was made to come to my home and provide an estimate. I was then called a few days later telling me that they had to cancel because Bryan is not an electrician and I would be better off just getting an electrician to do the work. I then stated that I was a little confused since I found them on Angie's List and their profile clearly states "Electric". The person I was speaking to said that they were just overwhelmed by the Angie's List response and would not be able to come out to provide an estimate. It appears from their cancelling their appointment is that the job I needed done was too small for them to waste their time on. That's really unfortunate because what they didn't know is that there are a number of jobs around my home that I would have considered hiring them to do had this worked out. Just to name a few, I have masonry (fixing brick stairs), carpentry (fixing/rebuilding stairs in my home), fixing thresholds between rooms, replacing three ceiling fans, replacing a chandelier, etc.. There is also a bathroom that needs remodeling in my home. In summary, they lost out on possibly earning tens of thousands of dollars on the jobs in my home. So now I'll just give these jobs to someone else whose time I won't be wasting with such a small job to start with.

Bryan's team showed up on time and got right to work. They were very professional and polite. They did an amazing job. I had more damage then I thought. What was supposed to be a two to three day job turned into an eight day project. Tony and Henry took the time to make sure that everything was 100% before moving on to the next project. Bryan showed up to make sure that everything was going well and he kept me informed the entire time. Working with Bryan and his team was a pleasure and I could not be more pleased with the results. I am going to start backwards, I will be using Bryan’s services again. I had three contractors come and quote a decently sized job, preparing a house for sale, and installing a new sidewalk over a maze stubborn of tree roots. Bryan matched our fairest bid, and started within our requested time frame. It also didn't hurt that he had so many positive reviews. Bryan’s team was nothing short of amazing. They were able to remove all of the tree roots in a very reasonable amount of time, and poured a beautiful new sidewalk, one that had been destroyed for over 10 years. They installed three rooms of drywall, ceilings included, and had it paint ready in a matter of days. They installed new basement stairs, with a handrail, as well as 7 new basement windows. During this time, I continued to ask Bryan to take on more jobs as we found them and he accepted without hesitation all while giving us a fair price. The team parsed two outdoor walls, and a sub-basement wall perfectly. Last minute, I asked him to install a new back door, and install a dryer vent, and two sump pump exit holes. Total project took two weeks, and the house looks amazing. His team is very polite, friendly, hardworking and we even invited them to stay and eat dinner with us a couple times. I am very satisfied with the jobs done. I work full time and Bryan was able to accommodate my schedule. The two guys arrived within the reasonable time frame I was given. Right after I gave them a walk through what needs to be fixed, they immediately went to work in a timely manner. We noticed the Chandelier was not balanced after they put it up, and they took the time to adjust it, and now it looks perfect! They also did a very good job cleaning up everything afterwards. Highly recommended, and I will definitely give Bryan a call if I need anything else in the future.

My bedroom had a water damaged ceiling from a leak in the old roof. We hired Bryan's company to replace and paint the ceiling and the ugly old wood panel walls, and they did a fantastic job. The new ceiling, walls and crown moulding look phenomenal. We had a makeshift archway composed of plain white boards where we had previously knocked a wall down. They were able to put moulding around it and really make it look good. The room looks top notch now. We were so impressed by their work and professionalism that we decided to call them back to repair the deck, which was falling into disrepair. They were able to assess the problem quickly, replace several boards and posts that were rotting from age, and they also reinforced the structure. All this work was done at a reasonable price on top. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for good home improvement and repairs.

Bryan and Josie were very prompt and responsive. Bryan thoroughly assessed each task and made excellent suggestions about how to best accomplish the desired outcome. His prices were reasonable and workmen arrived when scheduled. All work was completed promptly and with high quality and all areas were left clean and neat. There was a misunderstanding around one of the tasks for which Bryan took full responsibility and promptly rectified.
