MAID BRIGADE

Maid Brigade has been in my house three times in four weeks to clean. Their first visit resulted in them having to come back because they did such a terrible job, i.e, shower doors left with soap scum on them, bathrooms not cleaned, streaks on glass table tops, dog hair on tables, chairs not wiped down, trash not taken out etc. I have been looking at the same piece of tissue on the floor, directly under my night table since they were hired. This tells me that not only did they not dust the legs of my night table; they didn't vacuum under it either. This is the most expensive cleaning service I've used in 15 years and the first one that didn't deliver as advertised. Usually, a company tries to make a good impression initially and then slowly provide less and less service; not this company - it's awful from day one. My suggestion is to steer clear of this company. Their office staff is extremely helpful and very customer oriented and want to please; it is unfortunate that their cleaning staff does not have the same customer concern. Beware, they have a closed door policy, if a door is closed when they arrive - they are not going to clean that room .. I wasn't told this during my phone estimate. I found this out after reading the literature left behind by the cleaning crew. Lastly, no one ever came to my home to see exactly what they had to clean .. this is a lesson learned for me .. and hopefully for you too! Make sure someone comes to your house so they know EXACTLY what you want done.

We spend about $100 on that service and that includes vacuuming, dusting and cleaning the bathrooms and the kitchen. I like that I don’t have to do it myself and I don’t like that they don’t do it as well as I would. They do an overall acceptable job, but they are not too thorough and just do the surface stuff.
