This was an excellent experience with one small blemish. We had a misunderstanding with Tom about when he would be available to start our job. We notified him in early October that we had obtained permits, and we were under the impression that he would be able to do our work shortly thereafter. By the time I was really out of sorts about the delay Tom had a legitimate family issue that took him out of state for a couple more days. However, once he returned, he prioritized our work, and from the day he started everything was top notch. Tom is a good businessman. We got three estimates to begin with, and Tom has a helpful approach to developing his estimate. He requested that we select the specific fixtures and tile from local merchants so that his estimate would be precise. Tom's was not the lowest bid we received, but we were very impressed when he and his partner, Kevin, came to assess the job. It also mattered a lot to us that they do the work themselves. We are not sorry that we paid a little extra for their services. The agreement we signed was very explicit about billing and our expenses were exactly as we expected. Naturally it is quite disruptive to have a bathroom out of commission for a week and a half. But Tom was very efficient in sequencing the various jobs that needed to be done, and all workers in our house were careful, neat, and pleasant. Everyone worked very hard and we were impressed with the daily progress. Tom was easy to talk with and invited our input for all decisions. When I requested a change in the placement of a wall switch, he took care of that promptly. When we needed to change the toilet we selected because it was not compatible with our plumbing, the rescheduling went very smoothly. Best of all, the final result is really excellent. The plumbing installation is neat, the drywall work and the wood trim are just right, and the tile work is particularly beautiful. We would gladly hire T. Harty Construction for future work and would definitely recommend Tom to others.

Hardy construction showed up at 8:00 AM as scheduled. 5 minutes later the door was delivered. Hardy estimated that the installation and removal would require approximately 7 hours. The existing door was removed and the new door was installed in 4 a half hours. The installation process was both professional and nonintrusive. Hardy employees removed the old door and cleaned the area. Id. extremely pleased with the their work and professionalism.

He was prompt in stopping by, and in providing an estimate. He provided brochures so we could pick out design and color for the door. He found the right cedar shingles for the corner repair and cut them to size. From first call to completion, we had it done in under two weeks.
