Terrible. We were assigned this contractor by American Home Shield to replace a furnace. Very hard to get in touch with them, they rarely pickup the phone or return calls. The furnace was replaced ok but they asked me to schedule a follow up to upgrade some of the duct pipes. After a few months, I called and setup an appointment for the following week and was told the contractors would arrive at my home between 9 and 12. I made special arrangements at work to be at home that day but they never showed. Many, many phone calls, later, I finally was able to talk to someone, and it took another hour and two calls to finally be told that they cannot make it at all. Avoid if you can.

This was the provider sent to us from American Home Shield. Correctly figured out the problem with our ac unit, ordered it and installed. The wife/mother contacted us the day the part came in and left 2 voicemails stating we needed to call immediately to schedule the install, make sure you call in the morning or you never get anyone on the phone. AHS sent them again when the furnace wasn't kicking on. They said we needed to have our yearly maintenance done. Took me 4 phone calls to get someone to call me back to schedule the service. I was told someone would contact me on the day of to confirm the time of my "afternoon" appt. No one did and they were put out when I called them to confirm a specific time frame so we weren't sitting at the house the entire day. They said they had no idea and would try to get in touch with the service technician after I threatened to cancel. Imagine my surprise when the technician called me not 5 minutes later to say he was at the front of our neighborhood (gated community, he needed in). I received a call back from Air A Tech an hour later leaving me a voicemail saying they hand't heard back from the technician and we should cancel the appt. The technician was in my basement servicing the furnaces, they had no clue. Their technician notices we have holes in our duct work where a humidifier leaked through. I asked about the cost to replace and the technician stated he would need to confirm with the office and someone would get back to me. Well, 4 days later, not a single phone call. I contacted American Home Shield to complain the company couldn't even call me back with their estimate and these are the contractors they recommend. Air a Tech wouldn't respond to their email or phone inquiries either. We will use someone else for the ductwork. Serious lack of customer service UPDATE: 10/23/2013 One of the upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms is having a gas smell coming out of the vents. I contacted our normal gas service provider that previously did the maintenance on the furnaces. They identified holes within the heat exchanger & chamber that warrant a new furnace through American Home Shield. They also mentioned we needed to do our yearly service. I pointed out that it was just done last week and the technician laughed and said it absolutely was NOT done. He opened the smoke pipe that should have had all soot cleaned out and showed me on the two units that it wasn't done. He said there was no work done on the oil burner. I showed him the work order from Air A Tech and he told me he felt we were ripped off and the work was NOT done properly. I contacted Bob at Air A Tech and told him what our technician had shown me and his response was "Oh Christ, that technician is new". I told Bob about the holes and he said absolutely, we would need a new furnace, but he couldn't explain why his company didn't tell me that the past two times his technicians have been out here. DO NOT USE!
