WALTER CROFT

The initial addition design Mr. Croft presented was plain vanilla. No real style. After I requested a series of modifications, we finally got a decent, very functional design. The blueprints were adequate on all levels. The only major issue I had (except for lack of design style) was the fact that on the final prints the framing had been reduced from 2x6 to 2x4 without authorization which cased issues once I found a builder. The next time I used Mr. Croft was to obtain a letter to submit for permits verifying the safe removal of a wall. There was one issue which I will chalk it up to as an honest mistake. That cost for that service was $400. I called him 4 months later for an identical project in the same community only to find out the price had gone up to $600! I called another architect and got a price of $250 for the same verification and letter. Disappointed in Mr. Croft and the entire experience.
