"There was excessive heating in 2 of our bedrooms. Invited AJ Perri - after a lot of loud banging, the technician said that we need 2 zone valves that will cost us $800 each for a total of $1,600+$100 for installation. I was able to find it on amazon for $73 each and the technician confirmed that I was ordering the right ones. He said he'd come over after the valves arrive. We called AJ Perri to schedule a follow-up appointment and were told that they won't install items that they didn't sell us directly! Went online and read a lot about these scammers - they have been fined repeatedly by the state for consumer rights violations. Will be filing a lawsuit against them soon. No idea how they have almost 5 stars on Angi's list - must be buying reviews from non-customers. These people are worse than used car salesman."

In estimate of work to be done said 1,000 gallon tank. They hired an engineer for a plan that said 1,000 gallon tank. Go to sell it this year and find out it is not up to code-not a 1,000 gallon tank. Call multiple times and went in person to discuss problem. Never able to speak with the owner. Would not admit responsibility or rectify problem. Would not return calls. Sent an email that they would correct the problem for an additional 5,000.00."

Caught them red handed on an overcharge and instead of admitting their "mistake" they doubled down and claimed it was all our fault. Owner was extremely rude and obnoxious and told me to contact his attorney. So when I asked for his attorney's number, he just continued to yell and then hung up the phone."
