Description of Work: edged beds and around trees, trimmed very large pine trees and a huge holly, installed large bed, mulched. Jay responded to my call immediately and set up a date to review property. Chad was here at appt. time and we agreed to a reasonable price. Clean up was excellent.

Description of Work: Cleaned and did some landscaping of my sorry looking yard. Before starting he gave me an itemized list of what each task would cost so that I could pick and choose. Very good work, nice efficient workers. I have seen other homes in my neighborhood landscaped by him and they are very attractively done. Some have 'minimal' work done but it is so well done, so nicely planned, that it may actually be more appealing than the "lush" improvements which can look unkempt after a few years of growth. I'm not often pleased with "pricing" but these were good prices made even better by being able to pick and choose. If I could have chosen "all", I would still be pleased with the price because the work is so good.

Description of Work: Removed stumps and graded yard, added topsoil and lime, installed new turf, applied starter fertilizer, mulched areas in backyard and side yard.

 + -1 moreInitially it was going to be a lot cheaper, he got done and there were still a few loose stones and slanted. He was not sure that I wanted it completely fixed and he came out and finished it, and they did an excellent job for a little higher price. I wanted them to lay down a weed barrier and then compost over that, I don't think his guys really did that to my exact expectations. I talked to him about it and he was very nice about it and explained to me the situation and was very honest with me, which I really appreciated.
Description of Work: They came out and he had to repair a stone patio for me.

 + -1 moreJay sent over the entire army. Two crews arrived at 3:30 Saturday afternoon. I hadn't mowed the front yard for a couple of weeks so they mowed it right away no charge. Cleaned out the old mulch and loose leaves. Cut in the beds around three trees and all the way around the front and sides. They were done in three hours and didn't stand there demanding payment right away-they sent the invoice a week later. Only things I can nitpick about are: 1. The timing was poor-we were trying to be somewhere at 6:00. It would have been nicer had they arrived earlier, but they did arrive within the expected time frame. 2. Having put most of my plants in the ground myself I'm very picky about their care, and it seemed to me the mulch was piled too high around some of them. It was an easy fix though. The next day I took ten minutes to get it the way I like. 3. When cutting in the dogwoods, they cut some roots I didn't want cut. I don't think it hurt the tree, but again I'm picky. Overall, they did a good professional job. They saved me a ton of work and all I had to do was tweak it a little afterward.
