Westwood Appliance Service came in to inspect the refrigerator issue. The issue was the icemake would stop making ice and all ice made would melt down from the icebox. Upon troubleshooting, they advised us that it is the faulty control panel. They replaced it with with new control panel. The control panel is expensive but we had no other option. No problems with it now. No more ice melt issues. Thanks to Westwood Appliance Service.

Both my husband and I work long hours and are not home during the day. The owner came to our home on a Saturday (day after holiday) to repair. He was extremely professional and knew within 5 seconds what the issue was. Took approximately 20 minutes to fix--he said we should not have a problem in the future (or at least for awhile). I am extremely happy with the price and professionalism he displayed. Hopefully I won't have an appliance issue in the near future, but if I do, I will Call Westwood Appliance again.

They were OK but I'm still having problems with the air conditioner. It's not their fault because it's a new air conditioner. They came out because the maintenance sign came on to look at it. They replaced something and I would say it was good. Sometimes when you buy new things there's a dial battery that needs to be replaced so there was no telling how long it had been in the store. So he replaced that. I didn't spend much because it was still under warranty. So it was about $75. I recommend that he takes his own tools to his jobs. I had a wall unit and he had to use my ladder. I have 12 foot ceilings so it stoop up high in the room. The service was very good.

I have used Kevin for years. He is always fair and reliable.

The technician that came to my home had poor interpersonal skills. He was not interested in listening to my concerns with our oven and situation - our oven short circuited because of a water leak. We needed a written estimate for our insurance company. The report he provided did not contain sufficient detail for our insurance company.

He was very professional and knowledgeable, however, we had spent so much money on others trying to repair wall oven that we did not want to spend another $500 for him to attempt to fix it. We bought a new double wall oven instead (Purchase place recommended by him) but I would definitely use him first in the future if I need any large appliance repair.

It went well with them. It seemed like because they were on Angie's List, they charged a little bit more money than the other quotes that I got.

I cannot recommend Kevin of Westwood Appliance highly enough. He called before arriving, always a good practice. He diagnosed the problem in about 5 minutes and gave me a solid, reasonable amount that it would cost to fix. He had the part because he had (smartly) asked me for the model number when I originally called him. 30-40 minutes later, it was fixed. Gave him a check. All done. Simple, easy, no upsell or any other funny business. Kevin then asked if I had any issues with my kitchen appliances. I explained how we had just put an order in for a dishwasher because our Bosch has not cleaned well for over a year and left a film on everything. He turned it on, listened, opened and looked inside, and declared there was nothing wrong with it. I laughed and said "Trust me, it's garbage and hasn't worked well in ages". He asked what dishwasher detergent I used. I showed him the liquid I used and he explained that this was the issue. He had me write down a specific brand and type of dry detergent packs and prewash. Well, it turns out that he was right. I just canceled our new dishwasher because our dishes are now sparkling. Now extra charge or anything. Great guy. Nice guy. Great repairman. Reasonable prices. What more could you want?

I called Thursday afternoon and Kevin said he may be able to come that day, if not he would come Friday. He called before coming Friday AM. He was on time, very pleasant, clean and knowledgable. It turned out to be a simple repair that he assessed quickly. Service was excellent & I highly recommend him.

We notice the fridge wasn't working on Saturday afternoon. I called Kevin at around 2:30. He was at the house by 3:45. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a bad control board. He had one on the truck. He installed it pretty quickly and ws on his way. Very nice guy. We will definitely use him again.

I went to Angie's List to find womone we could hire to fix the oven. I found Weswood Appliance Service and two others but after talking to Kevin, I knew he was the right person. Kevin answered my initial call promptly and by just talkiing to him I could tell he knew his stuff and that he was a really nice person. I arranged for him to come to our home the next day to diagnose the problem and to give us an estimate on the repairs needed. I wasn't home at the time he arrived but my husband was there and confirmed what I thought--Kevin was a a really nice person who truly knew his stuff. He was friendly, professional and knew exactly what to do to fix the problem, his estimate was right in line with what we thought it should be (the service call charge is included in the cost if he does the repair and now our oven is working perfectly again. I know I listen to the reviews on Angie's list when I'm looking for someone to hire so I hope this review helps others in their selection. From our experience I know you won't be dissappointed if you use Westwood Appliance Service for your appliance repair needs.

Kevin returned my call within 20 minutes. He came over and fixed the oven quickly and efficiently. He's very polite and funny too. Very effective repairman.

I called Westwood Appliance to make an appointment to have a broken dryer serviced. Kevin answered my call immediately and was at my home to do the repair in less than 2 hours. He had the part on the truck so my dryer was repaired right away. Kevin is prompt and professional. I would definitely recommend him.

He noted that the washer would cost 4-500 dollars for repair. He would not help pull the washer out of the space. He said it is not his thing. He charged for the service call.

Found Westwood in the listings here and made an appointment to get an estimate to determine if it was worth repairing the washing machine. He gave me an approximate time, but said he would call to confirm before heading over on that day. This ended up being great because he was running a few minutes late, but because he called to confirm he was on his way I was able to complete several errands and get back in time to meet him instead of sitting around the house being annoyed. He arrived exactly when he said he would and completed a quick look-over within a few minutes. His price to fix was so reasonable and he had the parts available that he did the work right on the spot. He look the rest of the mechanicals over on the machine to make sure he did not miss anything. When he was done he went out of his way to make sure he cleaned up after himself. Overall very impressed with the professionalism, friendliness and attention to detail. I will definitely use them again when needed. I have already recommended them to several people.

He showed up on time and finished the diagnosis quickly. It took about a week to get the part.

He was here and available to do the work in 24 hours. I really appreciated that he answered all my questions and was very efficient and had all necessary tools to get the job complete. I will use him again in the future.

After 3 unsuccessful visits from another repair service to fix my malfunctioning clothes washer I called Westwood Appliance Service on Sat. 8/11/2012. Not only did I get a response to my call but the owner, Kevin, actually came over at 4:30 that afternoon and spent 1 1/2 hours on the job fixing what the other guy couldn't. On a SATURDAY. This kind of service, not to mention the competence to repair in one visit what someone else couldn't manage in three should be recognized and applauded. If you're looking for honest and reliable repair service you've found it in Westwood.

On moving to our new home, we soon realized our fridge wasn't cooling properly. Westwood was recommended by another appliance repair service as the first place we called couldn't make it out on that particular day. Kevin from Westwood had a booked schedule for the day of our service but he promised to try to squeeze us in and he did. He called before he came, and during the block of time he said he'd try to get us into. He detailed the expenses for the repair (the fridge was not self-defrosting and this had caused the whole contraption to stop cooling) and charged accordingly. He was courteous and professional, did the job quickly. Will call again if another one of our appliances malfunctions.

I spent $200 on the job. They came out on time and gave me an estimate. I thought they were a little expensive, which I did not like. However, the service was good. They were professional; too. I would use them again in the future.

My 10 year old Kenmore TRIO refrigerator stopped working (although the freezer unit continued to operate normally) and I called Westwood Appliance on Monday for a repair. The phone was answered promptly and he agreed to come on Wednesday morning. He called at 12:30 and said he was on the way. He arrived shortly there after, trouble shot the problem (the fan motor & thermostat), left to get the parts, returned an hour later and my refrigerator was fixed by 2:15 pm the same day. The work was neat and I was very pleased with the quality, service and professionalism. I would certainly call Westwood Appliance for all future repairs!

Have not had any issues with the dryer since. I would definitely use again.
