Scott was recommended by a previous customer. His prices were competitive and his service was outstanding. He thoroughly explained the the job, discussed options and made suggestions without any pressure on the choices. The work was done promptly; clean up was thorough and the quality was exceptional. Scott has also done some small maintenance jobs for us while on site. We will be using Scott for more jobs in the future. It is is extremely positive to have a contractor you can trust and count on.

This is the most important part of the review, because Scott and his crew were great. Scott's attention to detail was excellent, and he helped keep the renovations on track and within our budget, while using the best materials possible for the job. He easily took into account any changes we wanted to make along the way. both cosmetic (adding a recessed shelf in the wall) and structural (enlarging the bathroom). He gave us great advice on which windows would work best for our space (and saved us money), and was careful not to tear up our yard when he was working on the shed. Scott and his crew worked every day they were able, cleaned up after themselves, and were punctual. Just as important--they were wonderful with our nosy children and even nosier dog! Scott is thorough and competent, and was always willing to answer and address any questions or concerns. I'll be recommending Lindholm's Carpentry & Home Repair to whoever needs work done on their house, and I will be calling him with any future projects we have.

Scott is wonderful, he showed up exactly when he said he would for the estimate, explained exactly what the project consisted of and answered all of my questions.He showed up promptly to do the crawlspace work and was very professional throughout the job. I was scheduled to have flooring installed on the 18th, however, after the installers removed the carpeting, they said the sub-floor was in too poor a condition to do the install and suggested I have a contractor repair and level the sub-floor with plywood. My wife and I recently purchased this property as an investment and because it is two hours from my home, I was not familiar with any companies in the area I could rely on so I decided to join Angie's List. I called several contractors, leaving messages for most of them, but when I called Lindholm's, Scott, the owner picked up the phone. After telling him why I was calling and confirming my address, he said he would be over in about an hour to look at my floor and give me an estimate. After looking things over, Scott said he would get back to me with an estimate which he did very quickly. Knowing my schedule had been pushed back, Scott was willing to move a job he had scheduled for Monday to another day so he could get to me then. Scott gave me a detailed work order describing exactly what he would do and what the cost of the job would be. He then took the time to go through it to be sure I didn't have any questions. Although Scott said he would be at my place at 9am Monday morning, he actually showed up about 10 minutes before 8am which was great. He came in, did the work he agreed to do and stayed until the work was done. When I called him a couple hours later about a piece of plywood that didn't feel completely secured, he came right back to remedy the situation. I was very pleased with Scott's willingness to work with my schedule, and the fact that he showed up over an hour early to get the job done, and I am happy to say, the flooring installation is now complete and everything looks great.

Scott replaced a bay window, but in a new insulated door and completed crown trim in my house. He is on time, does wonderful trim work, and left the house w/o a spec of dirt. He is a nice person and easy to work with. He also gets along with my dogs, and that is very important to me as I am not usually home when the work is being done. I trust Scott with my pets, my house and my expenditures.

Scott came out the day after we called and gave a written estimate which was fair. He started the job on the day we agreed and he showed up promptly. He did his best to keep the plaster dust to a minimum and swept the areas before leaving every night. Scott came back for the second coat of plaster, then twice more for the sanding. We wanted to do the painting on our own so he gave us recommendations for the primer paint. The repair was indistinguishable from the rest of the ceiling and we were very pleased. We found his friendly and professional manner refreshing and would recommend Scott and his crew to any fellow Angie's List member. We would use him again!

Scott was excellent. He quoted, did the work in a timely and professional manner and had a very clean work area. Dry wall can take multiple trips and Scott was very accommodating. Going to do some larger renovations in the future and he is the first company I am calling.

Scott resonded to my call quickly and came to give an estamate a very fair price i thought it would be much more. He came out and did the work was prompt and acted confident and knowledgeable in what he was doing He completed the work quickly did not leave any mess and when he was done my floor and wall no longer had a gap . What a reliable carpenter good to know since i have more work that needs to be done and i will be sure to call Scott Lindholm

Hurricane Sandy managed to damage drywall in 3 localized areas in my condo in OCNJ. It was not a huge repair job (as compared to other properties that were grossly damaged by the storm) and the availability to have my condo undergo the repairs was only 3-weeks long (as I had renters coming/going between the winter/spring season). I called Scott thinking that, like other contractors, my job would be too small (not worth their time/money) and the 3-week availablity window would not fit into his busy schedule. Scott was awesome. Not only was he quick to respond to my initial inquiry, super fast in getting me a very reasonable quote but he managed to squeeze in my much needed drywall repairs in the sliver of time my condo was open with no renters. The outcome is great!! Very clean and professionally done. I definitely recommend Scott and would use him again in a heartbeat.

Scott does excellent work at a fair cost. He provides detailed estimates and follows-up with you. Scott takes great pride in his work and the final results show this. He does not just and quot;throw things togetherand quot; and hope that sheetrock will cover any sloppy work. Scott wants the job to look and be right. When you call Scott, he returns your telephone calls. He does not leave you hanging waiting for a reply. Scott keeps you informed on the status of the job. He leaves the work area each day looking clean. An important issue is extras. Most jobs result in added work due to problems discovered once the job has started, ie, issues behind sheetrock, or under floors. Any extras that had to be done have been at a very fair price. I do not feel he has overcharged for any extra that needed to be completed. This is one area a person can be overcharged. I feel Scott has never done this. I have recommended Scott to a number of people and will continue to do so. If you are looking for a reliable contractor who does great work, Scott is your person.

Company was accommodating of my schedule since the home I was having work done in is a 2nd home and I don't live in the area. Completed all of the work as agreed upon and cleaned up well after themselves.

Phone calls returned promptly. Excellent work. Quick work with professional workmanship and attitude. Would hire again. It was a pleasure to work with Scott.
