40 years in an all-electric house and I couldn't take the discomfort and outrageous bills any longer. Gas line came up the street years ago and my dream was to connect and redo my 2 story house: boiler, HW heater, piping and new baseboards throughout. 3 plumbers were recommended by friends. After weeks of no-shows, no-calls returned and excuses, I turned to Angie's List. Palmasano Plumbing stood out with all its A ratings and Excellent reviews. I called one day at lunchtime and by dinnertime, Dave Palmasano was at my house. I have no basement and always thought a heat system would have to go in my garage. Dave said he could fit a 95% efficient combination boiler in my hallway closet. Not knowing anything about these units, I was skeptical at first. But over a few phone calls, Dave patiently explained how they worked. His high level of expertise was obvious with each call. I was sold, and Dave was hired. I was worried PSE&G would charge a hefty fee to connect to my house which was far from the street. Dave told me exactly how to fill out their BTU application in such a way as to minimize the chance of this -and guess what? No fee. This was a big job, but Dave and his crew made it look easy. All work was done neatly, in a timely manner and on budget. Communicating with Dave was never a problem either. He picked up all the permits and was on-site for all inspections. He even filed My NJ energy rebate application and in April, I'll get a Federal energy tax credit. Now I'm enjoying comfortable, even heat throughout my house, and unlimited, on-demand hot water. I expect to cut my utility bills in half- maybe more. Dave's motto is: "If my customers are happy, then I'm happy." Well, I couldn't be happier with my new heat system and I'm so glad I found a new plumber who is a true professional. Thanks Dave!

Dave was very knowledge about water heaters and thankless water heaters. He made me feel at ease with my decision on switching to a tank less water heater. Installation went smoothly and he was right on with our budget and time. We love the unlimited supply of hot water and are so happy with our decision. We had a need for quick service to replace a broken kitchen faucet. Dave picked up my call and committed to service that same day/afternoon. Work was completed, without any issues, on a very timely basis, and within budget. I had asked my general contractor to use Palmasano Plumbing for this job, given my excellent experience with them on two previous jobs. Palmasano Plumbing went out of their way to be here when needed, and made sure everything was done right the first time. The general contractor pointed out to me how Palmasano went the extra mile, where other plumbers often do not - for example, making sure that the new bathtub was fully leveled, where other plumbers would often leave that for the GC to complete. I was very pleased again with their performance, and highly recommend their services.

Dave was extremely professional and informative from beginning to end. My tank was still covered under warranty but he worked with the supplier where the tank was purchased from to ensure I got the fair coverage under the terms of the warranty. He told me I had a failed pressure valve as well and showed me using gauges the difference in pressures. Instead of just telling me something was broken he actually showed me. Everything was by the book and you can tell he takes pride in his work. He may not be the lowest bidder for the job but you definitely get what you pay for.

Great! We had a very short timeline in which to replace a couple corroded pipes that my husband discovered when opening up a wall in our family room. David was super responsive and did good work for us. We will definitely call him again.

When the old copper drain pipe under my kitchen sink suddenly developed holes, I contacted Dave (late in the day) and asked if he could replace it quickly. He said that he could and showed up early the next morning. Less than 30 minutes and everything was replaced and working great. He also checked that the sink drained correctly, as it had been having problems the previous day. This is the third time that I've hired Dave to repair plumbing at my house. As always, he did a great job! No one wants to be without a functioning kitchen sink for long. Dave managed to fit an emergency appointment into his busy day at very little notice for which I am truly thankful. If I have need in the future for a plumber, I'm definitely calling Dave.

Called the day before and spoke to the plumber and felt assured that it was a straightforward job. I was quoted for 150 an hour and was told the job would take 1-2 hours. The plumber and his helper showed up an hour late. I wasn't angry, but more surprised I hadn't received a call. The job took less than half an hour and I was charged for the full hour, which I expected. Having made a previous attempt to do this job myself, I had already purchased a replacement cartridge that the plumber used. I was happy he used it and all the working parts of my original faucet (e.g. stem) instead of charging me extra for parts.

Our kitchen renovation went incredibly well and much of that had to do with the quality of the team that did the work. Dave Palmasano was great. He was prompt, professional, and neat. My husband was impressed that when he was sealing joints in a confined space where use of a torch could be dangerous, he instead used a state of the art hydraulic crimper to seal joints. That demonstrates his up to date knowledge and tools. He stands by his work. When our brand new dishwasher did not drain properly, he came on a Sunday morning to promptly solve the problem. We heartily recommend Dave Palmasano.

My initial call to Dave was to clear my washing machine drain pipe and while he was here, I inquired about a replacement hot water heater. Dave explained my options and I contracted with him for the service. Dave arrived at my home exactly when he said that he would, performed the job as we discussed and cleaned up the work area when finished. I had a plumber for years but he recently retired and I was a little apprehensive about trying to find someone new who fit my needs and was reliable. My experience with Dave has given me confidence in his ability, his honesty and has instilled a feeling of trust. My opinion is that he cares about his clients and wants to do the best job for them. I have found my new plumber.

I called just after 7AM. Dave returned my call shortly after, told me he should be free mid afternoon (same day service). Dave arranged to pick up the water heater on his way, and have one of his employees be at my home before him to prepare/remove the old appliance. They were on time, job was done as discussed and for the price quoted. All professional and friendly, cleaned up after themselves and answered any questions I had. I will use them again, and would recommend them.

They were able to quickly fix the problem. The last plumber I had look at the problem wanted to take out the wall and replace all the piping. Palmasano was able to properly fix the faucet without needing to take such drastic measures. I'm glad I found these guys instead of the other plumber. It's been two weeks and no issues. I would recommend use them again in the future.

Dave was referred to me by a friend that I know. He said Dave is someone you can count on to do the job right. I cant thank my friend enough for the recommendation. Dave quoted me a price, came out on a Staurday morning and in less than 2 hours replaced the hot water heart and left the work area immaculate. He was honest about what needed to be done and when he completed the work, he removed all the debris. I highly recommend Dave for plumbing work and he is now my go to plumber.

Very responsive, friendly, and professional

It was this past FREEZING Valentines day weekend, we came home to a burst pipe right from the ceiling in our garage. It was ate Sunday already, so we were able to turn off the water and figured to make plumbing calls the next day. We got phone numbers for just about every plumber around our area. We contacted David first, left a voicemail and on there he stated to send an email or Text if an emergency and we did. He got back to us right away but told us that he was really busy at the time. He actually gave us a couple of plumbers to try and a couple to NOT call (unless we want to pay ridiculous cost per hour). We called everyone and couldn't get anyone else to us so we finally contacted David to let him know, we can wait for him(That was around 10 am), he said he'll try to come by as soon as he can but it might not be until night time since they were pretty busy. To our surprise, he came by our place earlier (around 4) and found the problem and fixed the pipes within an hour. He was very efficient and truly knowledgeable. GREAT PRICE TOO!! We also loved that he gave us honest suggestions and pointers. He was also able to suggest other services that we need for our garage (which is a huge help because we are new to the area). It's so hard to find decent, trustworthy and honest service nowadays, and being new to the area we had no idea what we would get and David proved himself and his company to be topnotch of all of that! We will recommend him to all of our neighbors! (As soon as he was done fixing our pipes within an hour, our next door neighbor's pipes also burst, he came back to fix his place within an hour or so and our neighbor was very please with his service and professionalism as well! In the end of it all, even though, it absolutely SUCKED to go through all of that (first time homeowners), we found it to be a blessing that we had work done by Palmasano Plumbing! Because of that disaster of a night, we found a plumber that we can trust for all of our future needs and can recommend in our new area! Thanks again David!!!!
