Perfect. Mark Fanella is a rare find. One of the best contractors that I have ever met. He spent about 4 months working tirelessly on our home, from early in morning to late in evening and on weekends. His work product is the best of the best. I strongly recommend him.

You don't find many contractors these days like Mark Fanella. He is "old school", meaning he is a man of character. He shows up on time. He is a true craftsman and cares about the work he does. He operates with a high level of communication and explains what he is doing as he goes. He is meticulous in his work and in his clean-up. We have used Mark for several different projects over the years and have been extremely happy with his work.

We are extremely impressed with the craftsmanship. Mark is meticulous and his attention to detail is incredible. A true professional and a perfectionist..a rare find these days. We will definately hire him again and highly recommend him. We can not be happier.

Mark Fanella is a life saver. My wife and I were in very difficult position. We had a contractor fall though in the middle of our kitchen renovation. It was a very scary and troubling time. Luckily, we reached out to Mark for assistance and he was available. Mark was the utmost professional. He was able to complete the job. Not only did he complete it, but he made minor changes throughout the process which lead to greater finished product. Mark’s attention to detail, knowledge of his trade, and vision of completion are top notch. It was a pleasure to discuss and work with him throughout the entire process. Not to mention, like I said, we were in a very tough position. Mark could have financially took advantage of the situation, but of course he did not. Mark is a stand up guy, who cares about the job he does, and his passion for his trade is visualized upon completion. I would recommend Mark to anyone including my closest friends and family. Mark and his team offered a good price to replace the roof on our bilevel home. He, as the owner, worked alongside his very professional and courteous team to replace the roof. Arrived on time and coordinated delivery of the dumpster. They also discovered a couple of sections below that were damaged, provided photos and took care of it right away before moving on. Cleaned gutters and installed ice shields, too. Cleaned up and finished the job on time.

Perfect results I have known Mark for 20+ years and he has worked on every house I have owned. Windows, doors, new bathroom, marble floors all done to perfection. His finish carpentry work with crown moldings is second to none. If you want it done right the first time you get what you pay for, can’t beat quality workmanship.

In a country where customer service has not been a priority, Mark Fanella Construction is an anomaly. The hands on experience working with MFC is refreshing and (if you have used a contractor in the past) an on-time and dedicated contractor is unique. He is on location when he is expected. Mark Fanella was always around to supervise every delivery including the dumpster. In my opinion, he is a master who takes pride in his work and he is a perfectionist. I enjoyed watching him work as he treats his workers with respect making sure they take breaks, eat and drink plenty of water. My project started easy but it became complicated quickly because of the age of the structure and it required unplanned rebuilding which this “can do” contractor handled with confidence. Mark’s “can do” attitude was a relief. In my opinion, you get what you pay for and if you are lucky enough to work with this construction company, you will not be disappointed. MFC is reasonably priced and delivered outstanding workmanship with a perfect end product on my project.

I needed to replace a sliding glass door in my home. Mark was fantastic through the entire process. He helped me choose the right door and also helped me a get a great price on it. He work on the installation was fantastic! He went above and beyond to ensure that everything was done correctly. His attention to detail puts him in the craftsman category rather than just home repair. Pricing was more than fair. I highly recommend Mark. Btw, he is also a really nice guy.

Mark Fanella is the best! We have retained Mark’s service for a bathroom remodel, new roof, skylight instillation and most recently a custom trellis that is a work of art. Mark is a class act and the whole experience was perfect soup to nuts. Mark returned my call the same day, came right out for an estimate, and provided a fair estimate first time around. When Mark returned to complete the work he kept me informed of the progress and completion, kept the work area clean, took the debris with him when he left and checked back to make sure I was satisfied with his work. 1)The roofing/gutter job was completed in the promised time frame and for the quoted price. They worked extremely neatly. I was extremely impressed with the attention to detail and pride Mark took with the furnace flu cap,chimney and skylight flashing. 2) The second project was repairing seams on our Cathedral ceiling. Mark not only did an excellent job on the ceiling but noticed some issues on the walls and fixed the at no additional charge. Again the job was completed in a timely manner, neatly ,with great attention to detail and for what I consider a reasonable price. You get a strong feeling Mark works on your home as if it were his own.

Mark is first class. One of the most thorough contractors that I have ever worked with. He communicates clearly and explains every detail no matter how small. His work is phenomenal and you can just tell that he enjoys his craft. What I can appreciate the most is that he was quick, the job was done at such a high standard and he is so neat. I didn't have any messes to clean up after they finished the job. I have received many compliments from my neighbors on how the roof turned out. I would definitely recommend, no question.

As an accomplished do-it-yourselfer, I am confident that I can manage any home repair problems that may arise, however, I encountered an issue that was beyond my abilities. Luckily for me, Mark Fanella left a business card in my mail box shortly after I moved to Ringwood, NJ. Something made me hold onto the card, and it turned out to be a stroke of divine intervention. Mark arrived to survey the damage and quickly formulated a plan of attack. With my homespun knowledge of the trades, I knew from the start that I was watching a master craftsman at work. His attention to detail and meticulous application was readily evident as he affected the necessary repair. The result surpassed my expectation and left me with assurance that there would not be a repeat episode. Mark is a skilled craftsman who does impeccable work. Every element of my kitchen was done with forethought and meticulous execution. Mark took the time to prepare the infrastructure so the sheetrock, flooring, cabinet, trim and tile installations would be as perfect as possible: He planed the framing, jacked up the ceiling, tightened up the subfloor, fixed a racked cabinet, and rebuilt the interior of the wall oven cabinet because he wasn’t satisfied with what the manufacturer built. These are just a few examples (and there are so many more) of how Mark went above and beyond what an ordinary contractor would have done. You know how everyone who has had a kitchen renovated says living through the construction was an awful ordeal? I was bracing for the “awful” and the “ordeal.” Never happened. I actually enjoyed the process because Mark cares about you and your project. He consults with you every day, he respects your house and he works clean. He even kept the sink and oven hooked up for the first two weeks in order to minimize the inconvenience for us. Before posting my review I read the other reviews and the similarity among them is striking. If you hire Mark, you too will be the beneficiary of the “Mark Fanella Experience.”
