He did not fully complete the job, but we were so disgusted with the way he did work we just want him out of our house. He left unfinished work behind toilets in under sink thinking it wouldn't be seen it was a horrible job I would never hire him again people beware!

Kyle, the owner/operator of KLT Construction, was supposed to tile my porch floor - a small indoor job. He visited once provide an estimate and stated that the estimate would be provided the next day - it came three days later. This tardiness should have been my first indication of poor business practices, but I overlooked it. We spoke another time after receiving the quote and set a date for the work to be started, Friday 1/20/2012 at 8am. It was supposed to be a two day job. One day for tiling and the next for grout. I called Kyle on 1/19 at approximately 5pm to confirm our appointment - he said "absolutely" he would be there to start the job at approximately 8am. I took a personal day to be home for the work, but he did not show. He didn't even call to say he would be late or to reschedule - nothing. He is very unprofessional and cannot be trusted to do what he says he will. Finally, I checked to see if he is licensed in the State of NJ to do home improvement work - something I should have done immediately before hiring - he is not licensed in NJ for home improvement work. Subsequently I have submitted complaint to the NJ Department of Consumer Affairs, because it is illegal to provide home improvement services without being licensed to do so. Fortunately, I have a dated contract to provide which should be more than enough proof of attempting to solicit such work. Upon further investigation I find no business registered in NJ for KLT Construction - NJ Revenue may find this interesting. Beware to anyone that does business with KLT Construction
