Leo was at my home within two hours after initial contact. I received a written estimate with a 2 year warranty on the repairs. He fixed the initial leak from the main vent on the roof. He also repaired the 3 other vents on the roof. The previous owners had a new roof installed but did not replace any of the vents which were not installed properly causing it to leak. He also replaced the tape on the main vent in the basement as it had incorrect tape on it at no additional charge. Leo was a pleasure to deal with as he was professional and courteous.

An $80 chimney cleaning job morphed into a much larger project. Leo offered to repair our cracked and decaying front steps, $1500 in masonry work. We said OK. He got into it and declared it too rotted to repair, the whole thing needed replacing: $5000. Now we started to think it looked like we were being played. Then again, we had long had been expecting to spend about that on replacing these steps, so we said OK. Then it was the railings: they took ours away and said we needed new ones. I said, bring my old railiings back; he said, sure; but it never happened and I didn't pursue it. Instead, we said, OK, how much? Fast forward: another $1000. Things like written contracts were provided after the fact. All in all, it's a style of doing business with which some customers may be either less or more comfortable than we were. However, the bottom line: the work is beautiful, the prices fair, and they're extremely nice guys. When our dog stepped into the wet cement after they'd left the steps projec t for the day, they came rushing back and repaired it at once, no extra charge. They were under no obligation to do that. They genuinely care about the quality of the work. And by the way, the chimney cleaning was complimentary.

Leo returned our call promptly. Setup a service call the very next day. They did a good job cleaning the chimney, will use them again and recommend them.
