Description of Work: I needed a new driveway installed which was over 1400 square feet. Mark came out to provide the estimate and was very helpful with his suggestions. We set a date which was only subject to the weather. Of course it rained but a new date was set up for the following week. They arrived promptly and worked quickly and cleanly explaining what they were doing as the job progressed. They did a great job for the agreed upon price. As it was too late in the year, I will be calling them back to seal the driveway in the spring. I would recommend Angelo's without hesitation.

Description of Work: They were exceptionally professional in all aspects of the repair & topping of my entire driveway. They took great care & did more than was included in the original estimate, at no additional cost, to assure adequate water runoff. They were neat & clean and were exceptionally careful not to damage my paver walk that abuts the new driveway. Angelo's is a family business and I had three of the four brothers not only on the job but doing the critical work in a most effective team manner. Full satisfaction with this work will hopefully come with the stable condition of the driveway over time, but it was a great start.

Description of Work: Seal coat year-old driveway. Not your usual driveway. Our driveway is more than 100 feet long with a parking area at the rear. The seal coat material was high grade. They drew the material from a tank trailer into buckets and neatly spread it. Their work was top quality. I have looked at other recently sealed driveways and they don't compare to the quality of sealer used and look of the work done by Angelo's. I would not hesitate to use them again.

They provided a detailed estimate that was reasonably priced; they actually could speak from memory or their notes on the details of the challenges with our driveway; they showed up when they said they would and even demonstrated how water would flow exactly where they said it would, once they were done. This is a family owned, 3 generation business, so at times the communications were a little problematic (but you can't get mad at Mom!). Nonetheless, overall they did what they said they would do when they said they would do it. Their pricing wasn't the cheapest, but they helped us understand why they were much less expensive than the other contractor. It also helped to hear from a friend that his neighbors had used Angelo's in the past and were completely satisfied. Finally, they provided a small booklet to answer any after-the-job questions about care and maintenance. What a great idea and a terrific marketing tool! Good job!
Description of Work: We had an unpaved, gravel driveway. They filled in the low spots, replaced damaged sewer accesses (actually, replaced all of the plastic ones with more durable caps), leveled and pitched the driveway so the runoff would stay away from the house, and then black topped the entire driveway. They also installed railroad ties (that we purchased independently) around the perimeter of the entire driveway, after they had advised us where we needed to stack two high to accommodate how high the blacktop would eventually be.

+ -1 moreAngelo's crew and their heavy equipment arrived on schedule. They worked very efficiently and effectively all day to remove the old driveway, level it, resurface it and laid in the new foundation. According to plan, they came back 2 weeks later after it had settled, further leveled the new base and applied the new thick asphalt cover. Even though many pieces of heavy equipment were used on both occasions, their crew was very careful in their work and none of our new landscaping or stone work were damaged or stained in the process. We would definitely recommend and use them in the future! PS: Angelo's has a new mailing address: 38 Poplar Ave. - W. Long Branch, NJ 07764. Description of Work: After living in our current house for 32 years, our asphalt driveway, which had been extended several times, was looking pretty sad. After re-landscaping our entire house in 2011, it was a real eyesore. We found Angelo's Paving on ANGIE'S LIST & they gave us an effective quote to tear out the old driveway, level & resurface the entire area, install a new base & repave it. They even provided us with an illustrated booklet describing the work they would perform, how long it would take & how to maintain it in the future. This professional approach impressed us deeply, as we knew exactly what to expect!

+ -1 moreHE RUINED ONE THIRD OF OUR LAWN BY DUMPING LARGE AMOUNTS OF OUR DIRT AND ROCKS ON OUR YARD THAT THEY REFUSED TO REMOVE. THE PAVING THAT THEY DID WAS SUBSTANDARD AS WELL CAUSING WATER TO RUN DOWN INTO THE GARAGE.
